詩篇 140：1-144：15
140:1
耶和華阿，求你搭救我脫離惡人，保守我脫離強暴的人；
Deliver me, O Jehovah, from evil men; From violent men preserve me;
140:2
他們心中圖謀惡事，不斷挑啟爭端。
Who devise evil schemes in their hearts And continually stir up wars.
140:3
他們使舌頭尖利如蛇；嘴裏有虺蛇的毒氣。細拉
They have sharpened their tongues like that of a serpent; The poison of adders is under their lips.
140:4
耶和華阿，求你保護我脫離惡人的手，保守我脫離強暴的人；他們圖謀推我跌倒。
Keep me, O Jehovah, from the hands of the wicked; From violent men preserve me; Who devise schemes to thrust me down.
140:5
驕傲人為我暗設網羅和繩索；他們在路旁鋪下網，為我設下圈套。細拉
The proud have hidden a trap for me and cords; They have spread a net by the wayside; They have set snares for me.
140:6
我曾對耶和華說，你是我的神；耶和華阿，求你側耳聽我懇求的聲音。
I said to Jehovah, You are my God; Give ear, O Jehovah, to the voice of my supplications.
140:7
主耶和華，我救恩的力量阿，在爭戰的日子，你遮護了我的頭。
O Jehovah Lord, strength of my salvation, You have covered my head in the day of battle.
140:8
耶和華阿，求你不要遂惡人的心願；不要成就他們的計謀，免得他們自高。 細拉
O Jehovah, do not grant the desires of the wicked man; Do not let his evil scheme advance, Lest he be exalted.
140:9
至於那些昂首圍困我的人，願他們嘴脣的毒害把自己淹沒了。
As for the head of those who surround me, May the mischief of their own lips cover them.
140:10
願火炭落在他們身上；願他們被丟在火中，拋在深坑裏，不能再起來。
May burning coals drop down upon them; May they be thrown down into the fire, Into deep pits, never to rise again.
140:11
願說讒言的人，在地上堅立不住；願禍患獵取強暴的人，將他打倒。
Let no slanderer be established in the land; Let evil hunt down the violent man speedily.
140:12
我知道耶和華必為困苦人伸冤，必為窮乏人辨屈。
I know that Jehovah will maintain the cause of the afflicted And justice for the needy.
140:13
義人必要稱謝你的名；正直人必住在你面前。
Surely the righteous will give thanks to Your name; The upright will dwell in Your presence.
141:1
耶和華阿，我曾呼求你；求你快快臨到我這裏。我呼求你的時候，願你側耳聽我的聲音。
O Jehovah, I have called upon You; hasten to me. Give ear to my voice when I call out to You.
141:2
願我的禱告如香陳列在你面前，願我舉手祈求，如獻晚祭。
Let my prayer be set before You as incense, The lifting up of my hands as the evening offering.
141:3
耶和華阿，求你在我的口邊設立守衛；求你把守我嘴脣的門戶。
Set a watch, O Jehovah, before my mouth; Keep the door of my lips.
141:4
求你不叫我的心偏向惡事，以致我和行罪孽的人一同行惡；也不叫我喫他們的美食。
Do not let my heart turn to anything evil, To practice deeds of wickedness With men who commit iniquity; And let me not eat of their delicacies.
141:5
願義人憑慈愛擊打我，責備我；這算為我頭上的膏油，願我的頭不躲閃，因我仍要禱告，抵制人的惡行。
Let the righteous strike me in kindness and reprove me; Let not my head refuse oil upon the head, For still my prayer is against their evil deeds.
141:6
他們的審判官被扔在巖下；他們要聽我的話，因為這話令人愉悅。
Their judges are thrown down by the sides of the rock, And they hear my words, that they are pleasant.
141:7
我們的骨頭散在陰間門口，好像人耕田刨地掘起的土塊。
As when one plows and breaks up the earth, Our bones are scattered at the mouth of Sheol.
141:8
主耶和華阿，我的眼目仰望你；我投奔於你，求你不要將我的性命傾倒出來。
For my eyes are upon You, O Jehovah Lord; In You I take refuge; do not pour out my soul.
141:9
求你保護我脫離他們為我設的網羅，和作孽之人的圈套。
Keep me from the trap they have set for me And from the snares of the workers of iniquity.
141:10
願惡人落在自己的網裏，我卻得以安然經過。
May the wicked fall into their own nets While I alone pass by.
142:1
我發聲哀求耶和華，發聲懇求耶和華。
With my voice I cry to Jehovah; With my voice I make my supplication to Jehovah.
142:2
我在祂面前傾吐我的苦情，在祂面前訴說我的患難。
I pour out my complaint before Him; I declare my trouble before Him.
142:3
我的靈在我裏面發昏的時候，你知道我的路徑。在我所行的道路上，人為我暗設網羅。
When my spirit fainted within me, You knew my path. On the way on which I walked They have hidden a trap for me.
142:4
求你向我右邊觀看，因為沒有人認識我；我無處逃避，也沒有人眷顧我。
Look on my right hand and see, For there is no one who regards me; Refuge has failed me; No one cares for me.
142:5
耶和華阿，我曾向你哀求；我說，你是我的避難所，是我在活人之地的業分。
I cried to You, O Jehovah; I said, You are my refuge, My portion in the land of the living.
142:6
求你垂聽我的呼求，因我落到極卑微的地步；求你救我脫離逼迫我的人，因為他們比我強大。
Give heed to my cry, For I have been brought very low; Deliver me from those who persecute me, For they are stronger than I.
142:7
求你領我出離被囚之地，我好稱謝你的名。義人必環繞我，因為你必厚待我。
Bring my soul out of prison, That I may give thanks to Your name. The righteous will surround me, For You will deal bountifully with me.
143:1
耶和華阿，求你聽我的禱告，側耳聽我的懇求，憑你的信實和公義應允我；
O Jehovah, hear my prayer; Give ear to my supplications; Answer me in Your faithfulness and in Your righteousness;
143:2
求你不要傳喚你的僕人去受審，因為在你面前，凡活著的人沒有一個是義的。
And do not enter into judgment with Your servant, For no one alive is righteous in Your sight.
143:3
原來仇敵逼迫我，將我的命壓倒在地，使我住在幽暗之處，像死了許久的人一樣。
For the enemy has persecuted my soul; He has crushed my life down to the ground; He has caused me to dwell in dark places, like those who have been long dead.
143:4
所以，我的靈在我裏面發昏；我的心在我裏面驚懼。
Therefore my spirit faints within me; My heart is appalled in the midst of me.
143:5
我追想古時之日，默念你的一切作為，默想你手的工作。
I remember the days of old; I meditate upon all that You have done; I muse upon the work of Your hands.
143:6
我向你伸開雙手禱告，我的魂渴想你，如乾旱之地盼雨一樣。細拉
I spread out my hands to You; My soul thirsts for You like a parched land.
143:7
耶和華阿，求你速速應允我；我的靈耗盡。不要向我掩面，免得我像那些下坑的人一樣。
Hurry and answer me, O Jehovah; My spirit fails. Do not hide Your face from me, Lest I become like those who go down into the pit.
143:8
求你使我清晨得聽你的慈愛，因我信靠你。求你使我知道當行的道路，因我的魂仰望你。
Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning, For in You I trust. Make known to me the way on which I should walk, For to You I lift up my soul.
143:9
耶和華阿，求你救我脫離我的仇敵；我逃往你那裏避難。
Deliver me from my enemies, O Jehovah; I have fled to You for a refuge.
143:10
求你指教我遵行你的旨意，因你是我的神；願你至善的靈引我到平坦之地。
Teach me to do Your will, For You are my God; Let Your good Spirit lead me In a plain country.
143:11
耶和華阿，求你為你的名將我救活；憑你的公義，將我從患難中領出來；
For Your name's sake, O Jehovah, preserve me alive; In Your righteousness bring my soul out of trouble.
143:12
憑你的慈愛剪除我的仇敵，滅絕一切欺壓我的人，因我是你的僕人。
And in Your lovingkindness cut off my enemies And destroy all those who oppress my soul, For I am Your servant.
144:1
耶和華我的磐石，是當受頌讚的；祂教導我的手爭戰，教導我的指頭打仗。
Blessed be Jehovah my rock, Who teaches my hands for war And my fingers for battle:
144:2
祂是我慈愛的主，我的山寨，我的高臺，我的搭救者，我的盾牌，是我所投靠的；祂使我的百姓服在我以下。
My Lord of lovingkindness and my fortress, My high retreat and my Deliverer, My shield and He in whom I take refuge, Who subdues my people under me.
144:3
耶和華阿，人算甚麼，你竟認識他？世人算甚麼，你竟顧念他？
O Jehovah, what is man, that You take knowledge of him, And the son of man, that You think of him?
144:4
人好像一口氣；他的年日如同影兒過去。
Man is like a breath; His days are like a passing shadow.
144:5
耶和華阿，求你使天下垂，親自降臨；摸山，山就冒煙。
O Jehovah, bow Your heavens down and descend; Touch the mountains, and they will smoke.
144:6
求你發出閃電，使仇敵四散；射出你的箭，使他們潰亂。
Flash forth lightning, and scatter them; Send forth Your arrows, and discomfit them.
144:7
求你從高處伸手救拔我，拯救我出離大水，脫離外邦人的手；
Stretch forth Your hand from on high; Rescue me and deliver me From the great waters, From the hand of foreigners;
144:8
他們的口說虛謊的話，他們的右手是起假誓的右手。
Whose mouth speaks deceit, And whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood.
144:9
神阿，我要向你唱新歌；用十弦瑟向你歌頌；
O God, I will sing a new song to You; Upon a harp of ten strings I will sing psalms to You,
144:10
你是那使君王得救的，你是那救僕人大衛脫離害命之刀的。
Who gives salvation to kings, Who rescues David His servant from the hurtful sword.
144:11
求你救拔我，拯救我脫離外邦人的手；他們的口說虛謊的話；他們的右手是起假誓的右手。
Rescue me and deliver me from the hand of foreigners, Whose mouth speaks deceit, And whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood.
144:12
願我們的兒子，從幼年好像樹木長大；願我們的女兒，如同房角的柱石，是按宮殿的樣式鑿成的；
May our sons be like plants Grown up in their youth; May our daughters be like corner pillars Hewn out in fashion for a palace;
144:13
願我們的倉盈滿，能出各樣的糧食；願我們的羊，在田間孳生千萬。
May our barns be full, Furnishing produce of all kinds; May our sheep bring forth thousands And ten thousands in our fields;
144:14
願我們的牛馱著滿馱；願無人闖進來搶奪，也無人出去爭戰，我們的街市上也無哭號的聲音。
May our oxen be fully laden; May there be no breaking in to rob or going forth to fight, Or outcry in our streets.
144:15
有這樣光景的百姓，便為有福；有耶和華為他們的神，這百姓便為有福。
Blessed are the people who are so; Blessed are the people whose God is Jehovah.
新約 New Testament
哥林多前書1 Corinthians 13:1-31
13:1
我若能說人和天使的方言，卻沒有愛，我就成了鳴的鑼、響的鈸。
If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels but do not have love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.
13:2
我若有申言的恩賜，也明白一切的奧秘，和一切的知識，並有全備的信，以致能彀移山，卻沒有愛，我就算不得甚麼。
And if I have the gift of prophecy and know all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.
13:3
我若將我一切所有的變賣為食物分給人喫，又舍己身叫我可以誇口，卻沒有愛，仍然與我無益。
And if I dole out all my possessions to feed others, and if I deliver up my body that I may boast, but do not have love, I profit nothing.
13:4
愛是恆久忍耐，又有恩慈；愛是不嫉妒；愛是不自誇，不張狂，
Love suffers long. Love is kind; it is not jealous. Love does not brag and is not puffed up;
13:5
不作不合宜的事，不求自己的益處，不輕易發怒，不計算人的惡，
It does not behave unbecomingly and does not seek its own things; it is not provoked and does not take account of evil;
13:6
不因不義而歡樂，卻與真理同歡樂；
It does not rejoice because of unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth;
13:7
凡事包容，凡事相信，凡事盼望，凡事忍耐。
It covers all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
13:8
愛是永不敗落；但申言終必歸於無用，方言終必停止，知識也終必歸於無用。
Love never falls away. But whether prophecies, they will be rendered useless; or tongues, they will cease; or knowledge, it will be rendered useless.
13:9
因為我們所知道的是局部的，所申言的也是局部的；
For we know in part, and we prophesy in part;
13:10
及至那完全的來到，這局部的就要歸於無用了。
But when that which is complete comes, that which is in part will be rendered useless.
13:11
我作孩童的時候，說話像孩童，思想像孩童，推究像孩童，既已成人，就把孩童的事廢掉了。
When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I thought as a child, I reasoned as a child; since I have become a man, I have done away with childish things.
13:12
我們如今對著鏡子觀看，模糊不清，到那時就要面對面了。我如今所知道的是局部的，到那時就全知道，如同我全被知道一樣。
For now we see in a mirror obscurely, but at that time face to face; now I know in part, but at that time I will fully know even as also I was fully known.
13:13
如今常存的，有信、望、愛這三樣，其中最大的是愛。
Now there abide faith, hope, love, these three; and the greatest of these is love.
