26:1

猶大眾民選取烏西雅，立他接續他父親亞瑪謝作王，那時他年十六歲。

And all the people of Judah took Uzziah, who was sixteen years old, and made him king in the place of his father Amaziah.

26:2

亞瑪謝王與他列祖同睡之後，烏西雅修築以祿，使其仍歸猶大。

It was he who built Eloth and restored it to Judah after the king slept with his fathers.

26:3

烏西雅登基的時候年十六歲，在耶路撒冷作王五十二年；他母親名叫耶可利雅，是耶路撒冷人。

Uzziah was sixteen years old when he began to reign, and he reigned fifty-two years in Jerusalem; and his mother's name was Jechiliah, from Jerusalem.

26:4

烏西雅行耶和華眼中看為正的事，是照他父親亞瑪謝一切所行的。

And he did what was right in the sight of Jehovah, according to all that Amaziah his father had done.

26:5

通曉神異象的撒迦利亞在世的日子，烏西雅定意尋求神；他尋求耶和華，神就使他亨通。

And he set himself to seek after God during the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the vision of God; and as long as he sought after Jehovah, God caused him to prosper.

26:6

他出去攻擊非利士人，拆毀了迦特的城牆、雅比尼的城牆、和亞實突的城牆；在非利士人中，在亞實突境內，又建築了些城。

And he went out and waged war against the Philistines. And he broke down the wall of Gath and the wall of Jabneh and the wall of Ashdod, and he built cities in the vicinity of Ashdod and among the Philistines.

26:7

神幫助他攻擊非利士人，和住在姑珥巴力的亞拉伯人，並米烏尼人。

And God helped him against the Philistines and against the Arabians who dwelt in Gur-baal and against the Meunim.

26:8

亞捫人給烏西雅進貢；他的名聲傳到埃及的邊境，因他甚是強盛。

And the Ammonites gave tribute to Uzziah; and his fame went as far as the entrance of Egypt, for he became exceedingly strong.

26:9

烏西雅在耶路撒冷的角門和谷門，並城牆轉彎之處，建築城樓，使其堅固。

And Uzziah built towers in Jerusalem at the Corner Gate and at the Valley Gate and at the Angle, and he fortified them.

26:10

又在曠野建築望樓，挖了許多井，因他在低陸與平原的牲畜甚多；又在山地和肥美之地，有農夫和修理葡萄園的人，因為他喜愛農事。

And he built towers in the wilderness and hewed out many cisterns, for he had much cattle, both in the lowlands and in the plain; he had farmers and vinedressers in the hills and in the fruitful fields, for he loved the soil.

26:11

烏西雅又有軍兵，照書記耶利和官長瑪西雅點閱所得的數目，在王的一位將軍哈拿尼雅手下，分隊出戰。

Furthermore Uzziah had an army of soldiers that went out to war in companies according to the number of their muster done by Jeiel the scribe and Maaseiah the officer under the hand of Hananiah, one of the king's captains.

26:12

宗族的首領，大能的勇士，總數共有二千六百人。

The whole number of heads of fathers' houses, of mighty men of valor, was two thousand six hundred.

26:13

他們手下的軍兵共有三十萬七千五百人，都有大能，善於爭戰，幫助王攻擊仇敵。

And under their hand was an army force of three hundred seven thousand five hundred who could make war with mighty power to help the king against the enemy.

26:14

烏西雅為他們，就是為全軍，豫備盾牌、槍、盔、甲、弓、和甩石的機弦。

And Uzziah prepared for them, for all the army, shields and spears and helmets and body armor and bows and sling stones.

26:15

又在耶路撒冷製作巧匠設計的機器，安在城樓和角樓上，用以射箭併發大石。烏西雅的名聲傳到遠方；因為他得了非常的幫助，甚是強盛。

And in Jerusalem he made machines, invented by skillful men, to be on the towers and at the corners for shooting with arrows and great stones. And his fame went out far abroad, for he was marvelously helped until he was strong.

26:16

他既強盛，就心高氣傲，以致自招毀滅。他干犯耶和華他的神，進耶和華的殿，要在香壇上燒香。

But when he had become strong, his heart became uplifted, to his own destruction. And he trespassed against Jehovah his God and went into the temple of Jehovah to burn incense upon the incense altar.

26:17

祭司亞撒利雅跟著他進去，還有耶和華的祭司八十人和亞撒利雅在一起，都是英勇的人。

And Azariah the priest went in after him, and with Azariah were eighty priests of Jehovah who were valiant men.

26:18

他們阻擋烏西雅王，對他說，烏西雅阿，給耶和華燒香不是你的事，乃是亞倫子孫作祭司的，就是那些分別出來燒香之人的事。你出聖所罷，因為你干犯了神，你必不會從耶和華神那裏得尊榮。

And they withstood Uzziah the king and said to him, It does not belong to you, Uzziah, to burn incense to Jehovah, but to the priests, the sons of Aaron, who have been consecrated to burn incense. Go out of the sanctuary, for you have trespassed and there will be no honor for you from Jehovah God.

26:19

烏西雅就發怒，他手裏拿著香爐要燒香。他向祭司發怒的時候，在耶和華殿中香壇旁眾祭司面前，額上忽然發出痲瘋。

Then Uzziah became angry, and in his hand was a censer for burning incense. And when he became angry with the priests, leprosy broke out on his forehead before the priests in the house of Jehovah beside the incense altar.

26:20

祭司長亞撒利雅和眾祭司觀看，見他額上發出痲瘋，就催他離開那裏；他自己也急速出去，因為耶和華擊打了他。

And Azariah the chief priest and all the priests looked at him, and there he was, leprous on his forehead; and they rushed him out of there, and he himself also hurried out to go out, for Jehovah had stricken him.

26:21

烏西雅王患痲瘋直到死日；他身患痲瘋，住在別的宮裏，因他從耶和華的殿被隔離了。他兒子約坦管理王家的事，治理那地的民。

So Uzziah the king was a leper until the day of his death; and he dwelt in a separate house as a leper, for he was cut off from the house of Jehovah. And Jotham his son was over the king's house, judging the people of the land.

26:22

烏西雅其餘的事，自始至終都是亞摩斯的兒子申言者以賽亞所記的。

And Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, wrote down the rest of the acts of Uzziah, the first and the last.

26:23

烏西雅與他列祖同睡，人將他葬在王陵的田間，與他的列祖在一起；因為人說，他是患痲瘋的。他兒子約坦接續他作王。

And Uzziah slept with his fathers; and they buried him with his fathers in the burial field which belonged to the kings, for they said, He is a leper. And Jotham his son reigned in his place.

27:1

約坦登基的時候年二十五歲，在耶路撒冷作王十六年；他母親名叫耶路沙，是撒督的女兒。

Jotham was twenty-five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem; and his mother's name was Jerusha, the daughter of Zadok.

27:2

約坦行耶和華眼中看為正的事，是照他父親烏西雅一切所行的，只是不入耶和華的殿。百姓還是行敗壞的事。

And he did what was right in the sight of Jehovah according to all that his father Uzziah had done; only he did not enter into the temple of Jehovah. Yet the people still acted corruptly.

27:3

約坦建立耶和華殿的上門，在俄斐勒城牆上多有建造。

He built the upper gate of the house of Jehovah and built much on the wall of the Ophel.

27:4

又在猶大山地建造城邑，在樹林中建築營寨和高樓。

And he built cities in the hill country of Judah, and in the forests he built fortresses and towers.

27:5

約坦與亞捫人的王打仗勝了他們；當年亞捫人給他銀子一百他連得、小麥一萬歌珥、大麥一萬歌珥；第二年、第三年也是這樣向他進貢。

And he fought with the king of the children of Ammon and prevailed against them. And the children of Ammon gave him that same year one hundred talents of silver and ten thousand cors of wheat and ten thousand of barley. This much did the children of Ammon pay him also in the second and third years.

27:6

約坦日漸強盛，因他在耶和華他的神面前堅守正道。

So Jotham became strong, because he ordered his ways before Jehovah his God.

27:7

約坦其餘的事和一切爭戰，並他所行的道路，都寫在以色列和猶大諸王記上。

And the rest of the acts of Jotham and all his wars and his ways are there written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah.

27:8

他登基的時候年二十五歲，在耶路撒冷作王十六年。

He was twenty-five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem.

27:9

約坦與他列祖同睡，人將他葬在大衛城裏。他兒子亞哈斯接續他作王。

And Jotham slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the city of David. And Ahaz his son reigned in his place.

28:1

亞哈斯登基的時候年二十歲，在耶路撒冷作王十六年。他不像他祖大衛行耶和華眼中看為正的事，

Ahaz was twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. And he did not do what was right in the sight of Jehovah as David his father had done,

28:2

卻行以色列諸王所行的道路，甚至為諸巴力製作鑄像。

But he walked in the ways of the kings of Israel and even made molten images for the Baals.

28:3

他又在欣嫩子谷燒香，並且照著耶和華從以色列人面前趕出的外邦人所行可憎的事，用火焚燒他的兒女；

And he burned incense in the valley of the son of Hinnom and caused his children to pass through fire, according to the abominations of the nations that Jehovah had dispossessed before the children of Israel.

28:4

並在邱壇上、山岡上、各青翠樹下獻祭燒香。

And he sacrificed and burned incense on the high places and on the hills and under every flourishing tree.

28:5

所以，耶和華他的神將他交在亞蘭王手裏。亞蘭人打敗他，擄了他許多的民，帶到大馬色去。他又被交在以色列王手裏，以色列王向他大行擊殺。

Therefore Jehovah his God delivered him into the hand of the king of Syria; and they struck him and carried away captive from him a great multitude. And they brought them to Damascus. And he was also delivered into the hand of the king of Israel, and he struck a great blow on him.

28:6

利瑪利的兒子比加，一天之內在猶大殺了十二萬人，都是勇士，因為他們離棄了耶和華他們列祖的神。

For Pekah the son of Remaliah slew one hundred twenty thousand in Judah on one day, all of them valiant men, because they had forsaken Jehovah, the God of their fathers.

28:7

有一個以法蓮的勇士，名叫細基利，殺了王的兒子瑪西雅、管理王宮的押斯利甘、和宰相以利加拿。

And Zichri, a mighty man of Ephraim, slew Maaseiah, the king's son, and Azrikam, the ruler of the house, and Elkanah, who was second to the king.

28:8

以色列人從他們的弟兄中，擄了婦人帶兒女共有二十萬，又從他們那裏掠奪了許多的財物，將掠物帶到撒瑪利亞去了。

And the children of Israel carried away captive two hundred thousand women, sons, and daughters of their brothers, and also plundered much spoil from them; and they brought the spoil to Samaria.

28:9

但那裏有耶和華的一個申言者，名叫俄德，出去迎接來撒瑪利亞的軍兵，對他們說，看哪，因為耶和華你們列祖的神惱怒猶大人，所以將他們交在你們手裏，你們竟在怒氣中殺戮了他們，這怒氣已經達到天上了。

But a prophet of Jehovah was there, whose name was Oded; and he went out to meet the army that was coming to Samaria and said to them, Now, because Jehovah, the God of your fathers, was angry with Judah, He has given them into your hand, and you have slain them in a rage which has reached up to heaven.

28:10

如今你們又有意強逼猶大人和耶路撒冷人作你們的奴婢，你們豈不也有得罪耶和華你們神的事麼？

And now you intend to subjugate the children of Judah and Jerusalem as your male and female slaves. Is there not even with you anything but trespasses against Jehovah your God?

28:11

現在你們當聽我說，要將從你們弟兄中擄來的人釋放回去，因為耶和華的烈怒已經臨到你們。

Now therefore listen to me, and return the captives that you have carried away captive from among your brothers, for the burning anger of Jehovah is upon you.

28:12

於是，以法蓮人的幾個首領，就是約哈難的兒子亞撒利雅、米實利末的兒子比利家、沙龍的兒子耶希西家、和哈得萊的兒子亞瑪撒，起來攔擋出兵回來的人，

Then some of the heads of the children of Ephraim, Azariah the son of Johanan and Berechiah the son of Meshillemoth and Jehizkiah the son of Shallum and Amasa the son of Hadlai, rose up against those coming from the war;

28:13

對他們說，你們不可將這些被擄的人帶到這裏來，因為你們這樣作，就是想要使我們得罪耶和華，加增我們的罪和過犯；我們的罪過甚大，已經有烈怒臨到以色列了。

And they said to them, You shall not bring the captives here, for you intend to bring a trespass against Jehovah upon us to add to our sins and our trespass; for our trespass is great, and there is burning anger upon Israel.

28:14

於是帶兵器的人，將擄來的人口和掠來的財物，都留在眾首領和全會眾的面前。

So the soldiers left the captives and the plunder before the leaders and all the assembly.

28:15

以上題名的那些人就起來，將被擄的人領去；其中有赤身的，就從所掠的財物中拿出衣服來，給他們穿上。他們給這些人衣服穿，又給他們鞋子，並且給他們喫喝，用膏抹他們；其中有軟弱的，就使他們騎驢，將他們送到棕樹城耶利哥他們的弟兄那裏；隨後就回撒瑪利亞去了。

And those men who have been mentioned by name rose up and took the captives, and with the spoil clothed all who were naked among them. And they clothed them and gave them sandals and fed them and gave them something to drink, and they anointed them and carried all the feeble among them on asses and brought them to Jericho, the city of palms, to their brothers. And they returned to Samaria.

28:16

那時，亞哈斯王差遣人去見亞述諸王，求他們幫助，

At that time King Ahaz sent word to the kings of Assyria to help him,

28:17

因為以東人又來攻擊猶大，擄掠子民。

For again the Edomites came and struck Judah and carried away captives.

28:18

非利士人也來侵佔低陸和猶大南方的城邑，取了伯示麥、亞雅崙、基低羅、梭哥和屬梭哥的鄉村、亭納和屬亭納的鄉村、瑾鎖和屬瑾鎖的鄉村，就住在那裏。

And the Philistines raided the cities of the lowlands and the south of Judah and took Beth-shemesh and Aijalon and Gederoth and Soco with its villages and Timnah with its villages and Gimzo with its villages; and they dwelt there.

28:19

因為以色列王亞哈斯在猶大放肆，大大干犯耶和華，所以耶和華使猶大卑微。

For Jehovah humbled Judah on account of Ahaz the king of Israel, for he cast off restraint in Judah and trespassed greatly against Jehovah.

28:20

亞述王提革拉毗尼色到他那裏，並沒有加強他，反倒擾害他。

And Tilgath-pilneser the king of Assyria came against him and distressed him and did not strengthen him.

28:21

亞哈斯從耶和華殿裏和王宮中，並首領家內取了一部分財寶給亞述王，這也無濟於事。

For Ahaz took away a portion of the house of Jehovah and of the house of the king and the officials and gave it to the king of Assyria, but it did not help him.

28:22

這亞哈斯王在急難的時候，越發干犯耶和華；

And at the time of his distress, he added to his trespass against Jehovah, this same King Ahaz;

28:23

他向那些攻擊他的大馬色之神獻祭，說，因為亞蘭諸王的神幫助他們，我也獻祭與它們，它們好幫助我。但那些神使他和以色列眾人傾敗了。

For he sacrificed to the gods of Damascus, which had struck him, for he said, Because the gods of the kings of Syria helped them, to them will I sacrifice, so that they will help me. But they were the ruin of him and of all Israel.

28:24

亞哈斯將神殿裏的器皿都聚了來，搗毀了，又封鎖耶和華殿的門，並且在耶路撒冷各處的拐角為自己築壇。

And Ahaz gathered together the vessels of the house of God and cut the vessels of the house of God into pieces, and he shut up the doors of the house of Jehovah and made himself altars in every corner in Jerusalem.

28:25

他又在猶大各城建造邱壇，向別神燒香，惹動耶和華他列祖之神的怒氣。

And in every city of Judah he made high places for burning incense to other gods and provoked Jehovah, the God of his fathers, to anger.

28:26

亞哈斯其餘的事，和他所行的一切道路，自始至終都寫在猶大和以色列諸王記上。

Now the rest of his acts and all his ways, the first and the last, are there written in the book of the kings of Judah and Israel.

28:27a

亞哈斯與他列祖同睡，葬在耶路撒冷城裏，沒有送入以色列諸王的墳墓中。And Ahaz slept with his fathers; and they buried him in the city, in Jerusalem, for they did not bring him to the tombs of the kings of Israel.

使徒行傳 Acts 10:17-48

10:17

彼得自己裏面正在極其困惑，不知所看見的異像是甚麼意思，看哪，哥尼流所差來的人，已經詢問到西門的家，站在門外，

Now as Peter was utterly perplexed in himself as to what the vision which he had seen might be, behold, the men who were sent by Cornelius, having made diligent inquiry for Simon's house, stood at the gate.

10:18

喊著查問：有稱呼彼得的西門在這裏作客沒有？

And they called out and inquired whether Simon, who is surnamed Peter, was lodging there.

10:19

彼得還反復思想那異象的時候，那靈對他說，看哪，有三個人來找你，

And while Peter was pondering over the vision, the Spirit said to him, Behold, there are three men seeking you.

10:20

起來，下去，和他們同往，不要疑惑，因為是我差他們來的。

But rise up, go down and go with them, doubting nothing, because I have sent them.

10:21

於是彼得下到那些人那裏，說，看哪，我就是你們所找的人，你們來這裏是為甚麼緣故？

And Peter went down to the men and said, Behold, I am he whom you seek; what is the cause for which you have come?

10:22

他們說，百夫長哥尼流是個義人，敬畏神，為猶太全國所稱讚，他蒙一位聖天使指示，叫他請你到他家裏去，並聽你的話。

And they said, Cornelius, a centurion, a righteous man and one who fears God and is well attested to by the whole nation of the Jews, was divinely instructed by a holy angel to send for you to come to his house and hear words from you.

10:23

彼得就請他們進去，留他們住下。次日起身和他們同去，還有約帕的幾位弟兄同著他去。

So he called them in and lodged them. And on the next day he rose up and went away with them; and some of the brothers from Joppa accompanied him.

10:24

又次日，他們進入該撒利亞，哥尼流已經召齊了他的親屬密友，等候他們。

And on the next day they entered into Caesarea. And Cornelius was awaiting them, having called together his relatives and intimate friends.

10:25

彼得一進去，哥尼流就迎接他，俯伏在他腳前拜他。

And when Peter entered, Cornelius met him, and falling at his feet, worshipped him.

10:26

彼得卻扶起他，說，起來，我也是人。

But Peter raised him up, saying, Rise up; I myself am also a man.

10:27

彼得同他說著話進去，見有好些人在那裏聚集，

And as he talked with him, he entered and found many who had come together.

10:28

就對他們說，你們知道猶太人和別族的人親近來往，本是不合律例的，但神已經指示我，不要說任何人是凡俗或不潔的；

And he said to them, You understand that it is unlawful for a man who is a Jew to join himself to or come near one of another race; yet God has shown me that I should not call any man common or unclean.

10:29

所以我一被請，就不推辭而來。現在請問，你們請我來是為甚麼緣故？

Hence, even without objection I came when I had been sent for. I ask therefore, For what reason have you sent for me?

10:30

哥尼流說，前四天這個時候，我在家中守著午後三時的禱告，看哪，有一個人穿著明亮的衣服，站在我面前，說，

And Cornelius said, Four days ago to this hour I was praying at the ninth hour in my house, and behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing,

10:31

哥尼流，你的禱告已蒙垂聽，你的周濟在神面前已蒙記念了。

And he said, Cornelius, your prayer has been heard and your alms have been remembered before God.

10:32

你當打發人往約帕去，請那稱呼彼得的西門來，他在海邊一個硝皮匠西門的家裏作客。

Send therefore to Joppa and call for Simon, who is surnamed Peter; this man is lodging in the house of Simon, a tanner, by the sea.

10:33

所以我立刻打發人到你那裏，你來了很好。現在我們都在神面前，要聽主所吩咐你的一切話。

Therefore I sent men at once to you, and you have done nobly in coming. Now therefore we all are present before God to hear all the things that have been commanded to you by the Lord.

10:34

彼得就開口說，我真看出神是不偏待人的，

And opening his mouth, Peter said, In truth I perceive that God is not a respecter of persons,

10:35

各國中那敬畏祂，行義的人，都為祂所悅納。

But in every nation he who fears Him and works righteousness is acceptable to Him.

10:36

祂藉著耶穌基督（祂是萬人的主）傳和平為福音，將這道傳給以色列子孫。

The word which He sent to the sons of Israel in announcing the gospel of peace through Jesus Christ (this One is Lord of all)

10:37

你們都知道，在約翰宣傳受浸以後，這話從加利利起，傳遍了整個猶太，

You yourselves know, the word which has been spoken throughout the whole of Judea, beginning from Galilee after the baptism which John proclaimed:

10:38

就是神怎樣以聖靈和能力膏拿撒勒人耶穌，祂周遊各處行善事，醫好凡被魔鬼壓制的人，因為神與祂同在。

Jesus, the One from Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all those who were being oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

10:39

我們就是祂在猶太人之地，並耶路撒冷所行一切事的見證人；他們竟把祂掛在木頭上殺了。

And we are witnesses of all the things which He did, both in the land of the Jews and in Jerusalem; whom also they did away with by hanging Him on a tree.

10:40

第三日神叫祂復活，使祂顯現出來，

This One, God raised on the third day; and He has made Him manifest,

10:41

不是給眾百姓看，乃是給神預先所選派的見證人看，就是我們這些在祂從死人中復活以後，和祂同喫同喝的人。

Not to all the people, but to witnesses appointed beforehand by God, to us, ones who ate and drank with Him after He rose from the dead.

10:42

祂吩咐我們向百姓傳道，並鄭重見證祂是神所立定，要審判活人死人的那一位。

And He has charged us to proclaim to the people and solemnly testify that this is the One who was designated by God to be the Judge of the living and the dead.

10:43

眾申言者也為祂作見證說，凡信入祂的人，必藉著祂的名得蒙赦罪。

To this One all the prophets testify that through His name everyone who believes into Him will receive forgiveness of sins.

10:44

彼得還說這話的時候，聖靈降在一切聽道的人身上。

While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all those hearing the word.

10:45

那些奉割禮，和彼得同來的信徒，因聖靈的恩賜也澆灌在外邦人身上，就都驚奇；

And the believers who were of the circumcision, as many as had accompanied Peter, were amazed, because on the Gentiles also the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out;

10:46

因為聽見他們說方言，並尊神為大。

For they heard them speaking in tongues and magnifying God. Then Peter answered,

10:47

於是彼得說，這些人既受了聖靈，與我們一樣，誰能禁止他們在水裏受浸？

Can anyone forbid the water so that these would not be baptized, who have received the Holy Spirit even as we?

10:48

就吩咐他們在耶穌基督的名裏受浸。他們又請彼得住了一些日子。

And he charged them to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they asked him to remain for some days.
