13:1
以色列人又行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，耶和華將他們交在非利士人手中四十年。
Then the children of Israel again did that which was evil in the sight of Jehovah, and Jehovah delivered them into the hand of the Philistines forty years.
13:2
那時有一個瑣拉人，屬但人的家族，名叫瑪挪亞；他的妻子不能生育，沒有生孩子。
And there was a certain man from Zorah, of the family of the Danites, whose name was Manoah; and his wife was barren and had borne no children.
13:3
耶和華的使者向那婦人顯現，對她說，向來你不能生育，沒有生孩子；如今你必懷孕生一個兒子。
And the Angel of Jehovah appeared to the woman and said to her, Now you are barren and have borne no children; but you will conceive and bear a son.
13:4
所以你當謹慎，淡酒濃酒都不可喝，一切不潔之物也不可喫。
And now be careful not to drink wine or strong drink nor to eat anything unclean;
13:5
你必懷孕生一個兒子，不可用剃刀剃他的頭，因為這孩子從母腹裏就歸神作拿細耳人；他必起首拯救以色列脫離非利士人的手。
For you shall conceive and bear a son. And no razor shall come upon his head, for the boy will be a Nazarite to God from the womb; and he will begin to save Israel from the hand of the Philistines.
13:6
婦人就去對丈夫說，有一個神人到我這裏來，祂的相貌如神使者的相貌，甚是可畏。我沒有問祂從那裏來，祂也沒有將祂的名告訴我，
Then the woman came and told her husband, saying, A man of God came to me; and His appearance was like the appearance of an angel of God, very awesome. And I did not ask Him where He was from, nor did He tell me His name;
13:7
卻對我說，你必懷孕生一個兒子；現在你淡酒濃酒都不可喝，一切不潔之物也不可喫；因為這孩子從母腹裏一直到死，必歸神作拿細耳人。
But He said to me, You shall conceive and bear a son. And now do not drink wine or strong drink, nor eat anything unclean; for the boy will be a Nazarite to God from the womb until the day of his death.
13:8
瑪挪亞就祈求耶和華說，主阿，求你叫你所差遣的神人再到我們這裏來，好指教我們怎樣待這將要生的孩子。
Then Manoah entreated Jehovah and said, Oh, my Lord! Let the man of God, whom You sent, come again to us, I pray; and let Him teach us what we should do with the boy that is to be born.
13:9
神聽了瑪挪亞祈求的聲音；婦人正坐在田間的時候，神的使者又到她那裏，她丈夫瑪挪亞卻沒有同她在一處。
And God hearkened to the voice of Manoah; and the Angel of God came again to the woman while she was sitting in the field, but Manoah her husband was not with her.
13:10
婦人急忙跑去告訴丈夫說，那日到我這裏來的人，又向我顯現了。
And the woman hurried and ran off; and she told her husband and said to him, The man who came to me that day has just appeared to me.
13:11
瑪挪亞起來跟隨他的妻子來到那人跟前，對祂說，你就是與這婦人說話的人麼？祂說，我就是。
And Manoah rose up and followed his wife and came to the man. And he said to Him, Are You the man who spoke to this woman? And He said, I am.
13:12
瑪挪亞說，那麼，當你的話應驗時，這孩子當守甚麼規條？他要作的是甚麼？
And Manoah said, Now when Your words come to pass, what rule shall the boy follow, and what shall he do?
13:13
耶和華的使者對瑪挪亞說，我告訴這婦人的一切事，她都當謹守。
And the Angel of Jehovah said to Manoah, Observe all that I spoke to this woman.
13:14
葡萄樹所結的，她都不可喫；淡酒和濃酒，她都不可喝；一切不潔之物，她也不可喫；凡我所吩咐的，她都當謹守。
She is not to eat of anything that comes forth from the grapevine, nor is she to drink wine or strong drink, nor is she to eat anything unclean; she shall observe all that I commanded her.
13:15
瑪挪亞對耶和華的使者說，求你讓我們款留你，好為你豫備一隻山羊羔。
And Manoah said to the Angel of Jehovah, Let us detain You, we pray, that we may prepare a kid for You.
13:16
耶和華的使者對瑪挪亞說，你雖然款留我，我卻不喫你的食物；你若豫備燔祭，就當獻與耶和華。原來瑪挪亞不知道祂是耶和華的使者。
And the Angel of Jehovah said to Manoah, If you detain Me, I will not eat your food; but if you prepare a burnt offering, offer it up to Jehovah. For Manoah did not know that He was the Angel of Jehovah.
13:17
瑪挪亞對耶和華的使者說，請告訴我你的名叫甚麼，到你話應驗的時候，我們好尊敬你。
Then Manoah said to the Angel of Jehovah, What is Your name, so that when Your words come to pass, we may honor You?
13:18
耶和華的使者對他說，你何必問我的名，我的名是奇妙的。
And the Angel of Jehovah said to him, Why do you ask about My name, since it is wonderful?
13:19
瑪挪亞將一隻山羊羔和素祭，在磐石上獻與耶和華；祂行奇妙的事，瑪挪亞和他的妻子觀看著。
And Manoah took the kid with the meal offering and offered it up upon the rock to Jehovah; and He acted wondrously, while Manoah and his wife looked on.
13:20
當火焰從壇上往天上升時，耶和華的使者在壇上的火焰中也升上去了。瑪挪亞和他的妻子看見，就面伏於地。
And when the flame went up from the altar to heaven, the Angel of Jehovah went up in the flame of the altar, while Manoah and his wife looked on; and they fell on their faces to the ground.
13:21
耶和華的使者不再向瑪挪亞和他的妻子顯現，瑪挪亞纔知道祂是耶和華的使者。
And the Angel of Jehovah did not appear again to Manoah and his wife. Then Manoah knew that He was the Angel of Jehovah.
13:22
瑪挪亞對他的妻子說，我們必要死，因為看見了神。
And Manoah said to his wife, We will surely die, for we have seen God.
13:23
他的妻子卻對他說，耶和華若有意殺我們，就不會從我們手裏收納燔祭和素祭，也不會將這一切事指示我們，更不會在這時候叫我們聽見這樣的事。
But his wife said to him, If Jehovah had been pleased to kill us, He would not have taken a burnt offering and a meal offering from our hand, nor would He have shown us all these things or let us hear a thing like this at this time.
13:24
後來婦人生了一個兒子，給他起名叫參孫。孩子長大，耶和華賜福與他。
And the woman bore a son, and she called his name Samson. And the boy grew up, and Jehovah blessed him.
13:25
在瑪哈尼但，就是瑣拉和以實陶之間，耶和華的靈開始感動他。
And the Spirit of Jehovah began to move him at Mahaneh-dan, between Zorah and Eshtaol.
14:1
參孫下到亭拿，在那裏看見一個女子，是非利士人的女兒。
And Samson went down to Timnah, and he saw a woman in Timnah from the daughters of the Philistines.
14:2
參孫上來告訴他父母說，我在亭拿看見一個女子，是非利士人的女兒，願你們給我娶來為妻。
And he went up and told his father and mother and said, I have seen a woman in Timnah from the daughters of the Philistines. Now therefore get her for me as a wife.
14:3
他父母說，在你弟兄的女兒中，或在我所有的族人中，豈沒有一個女子，何至你去在未受割禮的非利士人中娶妻呢？參孫對他父親說，願你給我娶那女子，因我喜歡她。
But his father and mother said to him, Is there no woman among the daughters of your brothers or among all my people, that you must go and get a woman of the uncircumcised Philistines? And Samson said to his father, Get her for me, for she pleases me.
14:4
他的父母卻不知道這事是出於耶和華，因為祂在尋找機會攻擊非利士人。那時，非利士人轄制以色列人。
But his father and mother did not know this was of Jehovah, for He was looking for an opportunity against the Philistines. Now at that time the Philistines ruled over Israel.
14:5
參孫跟他父母下亭拿去，到了亭拿的葡萄園，見有一隻少壯獅子向他吼叫。
So Samson went down with his father and mother to Timnah. And as they came to the vineyards of Timnah, suddenly a young lion roared against him.
14:6
耶和華的靈衝擊參孫，他就空手將獅子撕裂，如同撕裂山羊羔一樣。他行這事並沒有告訴父母。
And the Spirit of Jehovah rushed upon him, and he tore it apart as one might tear a kid apart with his bare hands. And he did not tell his father and mother what he had done.
14:7
參孫下去與女子說話，就喜歡她；
And he went down and spoke to the woman, and she pleased Samson.
14:8
過了些日子，他再下去要娶那女子，轉向道旁要看獅子的屍體，見有一群蜜蜂和蜜在獅子的屍體內。
Then after some time, while he was returning to get her, he turned aside to see the carcass of the lion. And there it was, with a swarm of bees in the lion's body, and honey.
14:9
他刮了一些蜜在手中，就走了，且喫且走；到了他父母那裏，將蜜給他們，他們也喫了；只是沒有告訴他們，這蜜是從獅子的屍體內刮下來的。
And he scraped it out into his hands and went away, eating it as he went. And he came to his father and mother and gave them some, and they ate it; but he did not tell them that he had scraped the honey from the body of the lion.
14:10
他父親下去見女子；參孫在那裏擺設筵席，因為向來少年人都是這樣行。
And his father went down to the woman; and Samson held a feast there, for so the young men used to do.
14:11
眾人看見參孫，就請了三十個伴友陪著他。
And when they saw him, they brought thirty companions to be with him.
14:12
參孫對他們說，我給你們出一個謎語，你們在七日筵宴之內，若能猜出謎底，清楚的告訴我，我就給你們三十件細麻裏衣，三十套衣裳；
And Samson said to them, Let me now put forth a riddle to you. If you fully explain it to me within the seven days of the feast and find it out, I will give you thirty fine linen garments and thirty changes of clothing;
14:13
你們若不能告訴我，你們就給我三十件細麻裏衣，三十套衣裳。他們說，請將謎語說給我們聽。
But if you cannot explain it to me, you shall give me thirty fine linen garments and thirty changes of clothing. And they said to him, Put forth your riddle, let us hear it.
14:14
參孫對他們說，喫的從喫者出來，甜的從強者出來。他們三日說不出謎底。
And he said to them, Out of the eater came forth food, And out of the strong came forth sweetness. And they could not explain the riddle after three days.
14:15
到第四天，他們對參孫的妻子說，你誆哄你丈夫，叫他把謎底告訴我們，不然我們要用火燒你和你父家。難道你們請了我們來，是要奪我們所有的麼？
Then on the fourth day they said to Samson's wife, Entice your husband to explain the riddle to us; otherwise we will burn you and your father's house with fire. Have you invited us here in order to impoverish us? Is it not so?
14:16
於是參孫的妻子在丈夫面前啼哭說，你是恨我，不是愛我，你給我本族的人出謎語，卻沒有將謎底告訴我。參孫回答說，連我父母我都沒有告訴，豈可告訴你呢？
So Samson's wife wept before him and said, You only hate me, and you do not love me: You have put forth a riddle to the children of my people, but you have not explained it to me. And he said to her, Look, I have not explained it to my own father and mother. Should I then explain it to you?
14:17
七日筵宴之內，她在丈夫面前啼哭；到第七天，因她逼著參孫，參孫纔告訴他的妻子，他的妻子就將謎底告訴本族的人。
And she wept before him the rest of the seven days that they had the feast. But on the seventh day he explained it to her, for she pressed him. Then she explained the riddle to the children of her people.
14:18
到第七天，日落以前，那城裏的人對參孫說，有甚麼比蜜還甜呢？有甚麼比獅子還強呢？參孫對他們說，你們若非用我的母牛犢耕地，就說不出我的謎底。
And the men of the city said to him on the seventh day before sunset, What is sweeter than honey, And what is stronger than a lion? And he said to them, If you had not plowed with my heifer, You would not have found out my riddle.
14:19
耶和華的靈衝擊參孫，他就下到亞實基倫，擊殺了他們中間三十個人，奪了他們的衣裳，將衣裳給了說出謎底的人。參孫發怒，就上父家去了。
Then the Spirit of Jehovah rushed upon him; and he went down to Ashkelon and struck thirty men among them; and he took their clothing and gave the changes of clothing to those who had explained the riddle. And his anger burned, and he went up to his father's house.
14:20
參孫的妻子便歸了參孫的一個伴友，就是陪伴過他的。
And Samson's wife was given to his best man, who had been his friend.
15:1
過了些日子，到割麥子的時候，參孫帶著一隻山羊羔去看他的妻子，說，我要進內室見我的妻子。他岳父不讓他進去，
Then after some time, during the days of the wheat harvest, Samson visited his wife with a kid. And he said, Let me go into the chamber to my wife; but her father would not allow him to go in.
15:2
說，我估定你是極其恨她，因此我將她給了你的伴友。她的妹妹不是比她還美麼？可以代替她歸給你罷。
And her father said, I surely thought that you utterly hated her, so I gave her to your best man. Is not her younger sister better than she? Let her be yours instead of her.
15:3
參孫對他們說，這次我雖然加害非利士人，我對他們也不算有罪。
Then Samson said to them, This time I will be blameless with regard to the Philistines when I do them harm.
15:4
於是參孫去捉了三百隻狐狸，又取了火把來，將狐狸尾巴對著尾巴捆上，將一枝火把捆在兩條尾巴中間；
And Samson went and caught three hundred foxes; and he took torches and turned the foxes tail to tail and put one torch in between every two tails.
15:5
他點著火把，就放狐狸進入非利士人站著的禾稼，將堆積的禾捆和站著的禾稼，並葡萄園、橄欖園盡都燒了。
Then he set the torches on fire and sent the foxes into the Philistines' standing grain and burned up the shocks and the standing grain as well as the vineyards and the olive groves.
15:6
非利士人說，這事是誰作的？有人說，是亭拿人的女婿參孫，因為他岳父將他的妻子給了他的伴友。于是非利士人上去，用火燒了婦人和她的父親。
And the Philistines said, Who has done this? And they said, Samson, the son- in-law of the Timnite, because he took his wife and gave her to his best man. And the Philistines went up and burned her and her father with fire.
15:7
參孫對非利士人說，你們既然這樣行，我必向你們報仇纔肯甘休。
And Samson said to them, If this is how you act, I will surely take revenge on you, and then I will stop.
15:8
參孫就大大擊殺他們，連腿帶腰都砍斷了。隨後他下去，住在以坦磐石的穴內。
And he struck them hip and thigh, a great slaughter. And he went down and dwelt in the cleft of the rock of Etam.
15:9
非利士人上去安營在猶大，散開攻擊利希。
And the Philistines rose up and encamped in Judah, and they spread out against Lehi.
15:10
猶大人說，你們為何上來攻擊我們呢？他們說，我們上來是要捆綁參孫；他向我們怎樣行，我們也要向他怎樣行。
And the men of Judah said, Why have you come up against us? And they said, We have come up to bind Samson, so that we can do to him as he has done to us.
15:11
於是有三千猶大人下到以坦磐石的穴內，對參孫說，非利士人轄制我們，你不知道麼？你向我們行的是甚麼事呢？他回答說，他們向我怎樣行，我也向他們怎樣行。
Then three thousand men of Judah went down to the cleft of the rock of Etam; and they said to Samson, Do you not know that the Philistines rule over us? Then what is this that you have done to us? And he said to them, As they have done to me, so I have done to them.
15:12
猶大人對他說，我們下來是要捆綁你，將你交在非利士人手中。參孫說，你們要向我起誓，應承你們自己不殺害我。
And they said to him, We have come down to bind you up so that we can deliver you into hand of the Philistines. And Samson said to them, Swear to me that you will not fall upon me yourselves.
15:13
他們說，我們只要將你捆綁交在非利士人手中，我們斷不會殺你。於是用兩條新繩捆綁參孫，將他從以坦磐石帶上去。
And they spoke to him, saying, No, we will only bind you and deliver you into their hand, but we certainly will not put you to death. And they bound him with two new ropes and brought him up from the rock.
15:14
參孫到了利希，非利士人都迎著呐喊。耶和華的靈衝擊參孫，他臂上的繩就像火燒的麻一樣，他的綁繩都從他手上脫落下來。
When he came into Lehi, the Philistines came shouting to meet him. And the Spirit of Jehovah rushed upon him, and the ropes that were on his arms became like flax when it burns in fire; and his bonds melted from off his hands.
15:15
他見一塊未乾的驢腮骨，就伸手拾起來，用以擊殺一千人。
And he found a fresh jawbone of an ass; and he stretched out his hand and took it, and struck a thousand men with it.
15:16
參孫說，我用驢腮骨殺人成堆，用驢腮骨殺了一千人。
And Samson said, With the jawbone of an ass, A heap upon a double heap; With the jawbone of an ass, I have struck a thousand men dead.
15:17
說完這話，就把那腮骨從手裏拋出去了；他便把那地方叫作拉末利希。
And when he finished speaking, he cast the jawbone from his hand; and he called that place Ramath-lehi.
15:18
參孫甚覺口渴，就呼求耶和華說，你既藉僕人的手施行這麼大的拯救，我現在豈可渴死，落在未受割禮的人手中？
And he was very thirsty, and he called on Jehovah, saying, You have granted this great victory by the hand of Your servant. And will I now die of thirst and fall into the hand of the uncircumcised?
15:19
神就使利希的窪處裂開，有水從其中湧出來。參孫喝了，靈裏得恢復，就復甦過來；因此他給那泉起名叫隱哈歌利，那泉直到今日還在利希。
But God broke open the hollow place that is in Lehi, and water came forth from it. And when he drank, his spirit returned and he was revived; therefore he called the name of that place En-hakkore, which is in Lehi to this day.
15:20
當非利士人轄制以色列人的時候，參孫作以色列的士師二十年。
And he judged Israel in the days of the Philistines twenty years.
16:1
參孫到了迦薩，在那裏看見一個妓女，就與她親近。
And Samson went down to Gaza; and there he saw a harlot and went in unto her.
16:2
有人對迦薩人說，參孫到這裏來了。他們就把他圍住，終夜在城門悄悄埋伏，說，等到天亮我們便殺他。
And this was told to the Gazites, saying, Samson has come here. So they surrounded him and set an ambush for him all night long in the gate of the city. And they were quiet all night long, saying among themselves, We will stay here until the light of morning; then we will slay him.
16:3
參孫睡到半夜，起來，抓住城門的門扇和兩邊的門框，及閘閂一齊拔起來，扛在肩上，扛到希伯崙前的山頂上。
But Samson lay only until midnight; then he rose at midnight and grasped the doors of the gate of the city and the two posts, and he plucked them up along with the bar; and he put them on his shoulders and brought them up to the top of the mountain that is in front of Hebron.
16:4
後來，參孫在梭烈谷愛上了一個婦人，名叫大利拉。
Then after this he fell in love with a woman in the valley of Sorek, whose name was Delilah.
16:5
非利士人的首領上去見那婦人，對她說，求你誆哄參孫，看看他為何有這麼大的力氣，我們用何法纔能勝過他，捆綁克制他；我們就每人給你一千一百錠銀子。
And the lords of the Philistines came to her; and they said to her, Entice him, and find out how it is that his strength is so great, and how we can prevail against him and bind him so that we may afflict him; and we each will give you eleven hundred pieces of silver.
16:6
因此大利拉對參孫說，求你告訴我，你為何有這麼大的力氣，當用何法纔能捆綁克制你。
So Delilah said to Samson, Tell me please, How is it that your strength is so great, and how could you be bound so that you could be afflicted?
16:7
參孫對她說，人若用七條未乾的青繩子捆綁我，我就軟弱像別人一樣。
And Samson said to her, If they bind me with seven new cords that are not dried out, I will become weak and be like any other man.
16:8
于是非利士人的首領把七條未乾的青繩子拿上來，交給婦人，她就用繩子捆綁參孫。
So the lords of the Philistines brought up to her seven new cords that were not dried out, and she bound him with them.
16:9
有埋伏的人在婦人的內室等候著；婦人說，參孫哪，非利士人來捉你了！參孫就掙斷繩子，如掙斷經火的麻線一般。這樣，他力氣的根由人還是不知道。
And there was an ambush staying with her in the inner chamber; and she said to him, The Philistines are upon you, Samson! And he snapped the cords, as when a strand of tow is snapped when it touches fire. So his strength was not known.
16:10
大利拉對參孫說，你欺哄我，向我說謊；現在求你告訴我，當用何法纔能捆綁你。
Then Delilah said to Samson, You have just mocked me and told me lies; now tell me please, How can you be bound?
16:11
參孫對她說，人若用沒有使用過的新繩捆綁我，我就軟弱像別人一樣。
And he said to her, If they bind me up with new ropes with which no work has been done, I will become weak and be like any other man.
16:12
大利拉就用新繩捆綁他，對他說，參孫哪，非利士人拿你來了！有埋伏的人在內室等候著。參孫將臂上的繩掙斷了，如掙斷一條線一樣。
So Delilah took new ropes and bound him with them; and she said to him, The Philistines are upon you, Samson! And there was an ambush staying in the inner chamber. But he broke them off his arms like a thread.
16:13
大利拉對參孫說，你到如今還是欺哄我，向我說謊；你告訴我，當用何法纔能捆綁你。參孫對她說，你若將我頭上的七條發綹，與緯線同織，用橛子釘在牆上，我就軟弱像別人一樣。
Then Delilah said to Samson, Until now you have mocked me and told me lies; tell me how you can be bound. And he said to her, If you weave the seven locks of my head with the web and fasten them with the pin onto the wall, I will become weak and be like any other man.
16:14
於是大利拉趁參孫睡覺的時候，將他的七條發綹與緯線同織，用橛子釘住，對他說，參孫哪，非利士人來捉你了！參孫從睡中醒來，將機上的橛子和緯線一齊都拔出來了。
So while he slept, Delilah took the seven locks of his head and wove them into the web; and she fastened them with the pin. Then she said to him, The Philistines are upon you, Samson! And he awoke from his sleep and plucked up the pin of the loom and the web.
16:15
大利拉對參孫說，你的心既不在我這裏，怎麼說你愛我呢？你這三次欺哄我，沒有告訴我，你為何有這麼大的力氣。
Then she said to him, How can you say, I love you, when your heart is not with me? These three times you have mocked me and have not told me how it is that your strength is so great.
16:16
大利拉天天用話催逼他，甚至他魂裏煩得要死。
And after she pressed him with her words every day and urged him, his soul was tired to death.
16:17
參孫就把心中的一切都告訴了她，對她說，向來人沒有用剃刀剃我的頭，因為我從母腹裏就歸神作拿細耳人；若剃了我的頭髮，我的力氣就離開我，我便軟弱像所有的人一樣。
And he told her all his heart and said to her, No razor has ever come upon my head, for I have been a Nazarite to God from my mother's womb. If I were shaved, my strength would leave me, and I would become weak and be like all men.
16:18
大利拉見他把心中的一切都告訴了她，就打發人去召請非利士人的首領，說，他已經把心中的一切都告訴了我，請你們再上來一次。於是非利士人的首領手裏拿著銀子，上到婦人那裏。
And when Delilah saw that he had told her all his heart, she sent word and called for the lords of the Philistines, saying, Come up once more, for he has told me all his heart. And the lords of the Philistines came up to her, and they brought the silver in their hand.
16:19
大利拉使參孫枕著她的膝睡覺，叫了一個人來，把參孫頭上的七條發綹都剃除。於是大利拉起首克制他，他的力氣離開了他。
And she put him to sleep in her lap and called for a man; and she shaved off the seven locks of his head. And she began to afflict him, and his strength left him.
16:20
大利拉說，參孫哪，非利士人來捉你了！參孫從睡中醒來，心裏說，我要像前幾次出去，抖動脫身；他卻不知道耶和華已經離開他了。
Then she said, The Philistines are upon you, Samson! And he awoke from his sleep and said, I will go out as at other times and shake myself free. But he did not know that Jehovah had left him.
16:21
非利士人將他拿住，剜了他的眼睛，帶他下到迦薩，用銅鍊拘索他；他就在監裏推磨。
And the Philistines grabbed him and gouged out his eyes. And they took him down to Gaza and bound him with bronze fetters; and he ground at the mill in the prison house.
16:22
然而他的頭髮被剃之後，又開始長起來了。
But the hair on his head began to grow back after it had been shaved off.
16:23
非利士人的首領聚集，要給他們的神大袞獻大祭，並且歡樂；他們說，我們的神將我們的仇敵參孫交在我們手中了。
And the lords of the Philistines gathered to offer a great sacrifice to Dagon their god and to rejoice. And they said, Our god has delivered Samson our enemy into our hand.
16:24
眾人看見參孫，就讚美他們的神說，我們的神將毀壞我們的地，且殺害我們許多人的仇敵交在我們手中了。
And when the people saw him they praised their god, for they said, Our god has delivered our enemy into our hand, even him who desolated our land, who slew many of us.
16:25
他們心裏正高興的時候，就說，叫參孫來，在我們面前戲耍戲耍。於是將參孫從監裏叫出來，他就在眾人面前戲耍。他們使他站在兩柱中間。
And when their hearts were merry, they said, Call for Samson, that he may entertain us. So they called for Samson from the prison house, and he performed before them. Then they made him stand between the pillars.
16:26
參孫向拉他手的少年人說，求你讓我摸著托房的柱子，我要靠一靠。
And Samson said to the youth who held him by his hand, Let me feel the pillars upon which the house rests, that I may rest against them.
16:27
那時房內充滿男女，非利士人的眾首領也都在那裏；房的平頂上約有三千男女觀看參孫戲耍。
Now the house was full of men and women, and all the lords of the Philistines were there; and on the roof there were about three thousand men and women, who were looking on while Samson performed.
16:28
參孫呼求耶和華說，主耶和華阿，求你紀念我。神阿，求你賜我力量，就只這一次，使我在非利士人身上一次報那剜我雙眼的仇。
And Samson called on Jehovah and said, O Lord Jehovah, remember me, I pray; and strengthen me, I pray, this one time only, O God, that I may be avenged of the Philistines at once for my two eyes.
16:29
參孫就抱住托房的那兩根中間的柱子，右手一根，左手一根，並且靠著柱子，
And Samson grasped the two middle pillars upon which the house rested and leaned against them, one with his right hand and the other with his left.
16:30
說，我情願與非利士人同死。他盡力屈身，房子就倒塌，壓住首領和房內的眾人。這樣，參孫死的時候所殺的人，比活著時所殺的還多。
And Samson said, Let me die with the Philistines. And he bowed with all his strength, and the house fell upon the lords and all the people who were in it. So the dead that he killed in his death were more than those that he killed in his life.
16:31
參孫的弟兄和他父親的全家，都下去取他的屍首，抬上來葬在瑣拉和以實陶之間，在他父親瑪挪亞的墳墓裏。參孫作以色列的士師二十年。
Then his brothers and all his father's house went down and bore him away, and they brought him up and buried him between Zorah and Eshtaol, in the tomb of Manoah his father. Now he had judged Israel twenty years.

13:1
就在那時，有幾個在場的人，將彼拉多把加利利人的血攙雜在他們祭物中的事，報告耶穌。
Now there were some present at the same time who reported to Him concerning the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices.
13:2
耶穌回答他們說，因著這些加利利人受這害，你們就以為他們比所有的加利利人更有罪麼？
And He answered and said to them, Do you think that these Galileans were sinners beyond all the Galileans because they suffered these things?
13:3
我告訴你們，不是的。你們若不悔改，都要如此滅亡。
No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you shall all likewise perish.
13:4
從前西羅亞樓倒塌，壓死十八個人，你們以為他們比一切住在耶路撒冷的人更有虧欠麼？
Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them, do you think that they were debtors beyond all the men dwelling in Jerusalem?
13:5
我告訴你們，不是的。你們若不悔改，都要如此滅亡。
No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you shall all similarly perish.
13:6
於是祂說了這個比喻：一個人有一棵無花果樹，栽在他的葡萄園裏。他來，在樹上找果子，卻找不著。
And He told this parable: A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard. And he came seeking fruit on it and did not find any.
13:7
就對管園的說，看哪，這三年我來，在這無花果樹上找果子，竟找不著，把它砍了吧，何必還白占地土？
And he said to the vinedresser, Behold, for three years I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and I have not found any. Cut it down therefore. Why does it also make the ground useless?
13:8
管園的回答他說，主啊，今年且留著，等我周圍掘開土，堆上肥；
But he answered and said to him, Master, leave it this year also, until I dig around it and throw on manure.
13:9
將來若真結果子便罷，不然再把它砍了。
And if it produces fruit in the future, good; otherwise, cut it down.
13:10
當安息日，耶穌在一個會堂裏施教。
And He was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath.
13:11
看哪，有一個女人，被病弱的靈附著，已經十八年了，腰彎得一點都直不起來。
And behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and she was bent double and could not stand erect at all.
13:12
耶穌看見，便叫過她來，對她說，女人，你脫離這病了。
And Jesus, seeing her, called her to Him and said to her, Woman, you are released from your infirmity.
13:13
於是用兩隻手按著她，她立刻直起腰來，就榮耀神。
And He laid His hands on her, and instantly she was made erect and began to glorify God.
13:14
管會堂的因為耶穌在安息日治病，就氣忿忿的對群眾說，有六日應當作工，在那六日之內，可以來求醫，在安息日卻不可。
But the ruler of the synagogue, being indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, answered and said to the crowd, There are six days in which man should work; therefore, come on them and be healed, and not on the Sabbath day.
13:15
主卻回答他說，假冒為善的人哪，難道你們各人在安息日不解開槽上的牛驢，牽去飲麼？
But the Lord answered him and said, Hypocrites! Does not each of you on the Sabbath untie his ox or his donkey from the manger and lead it away and water it?
13:16
何況這女人本是亞伯拉罕的後裔，看哪，她被撒但捆綁了十八年，不當在安息日解開她的捆鎖麼？
And this woman, being a daughter of Abraham whom Satan has bound, behold, for eighteen years, should she not have been released from this bond on the Sabbath day?
13:17
耶穌說這話，一切敵對祂的人都羞愧了。群眾因祂所行一切榮耀的事，就都歡喜。
And when He said these things, all those opposing Him were put to shame, and all the crowd rejoiced over all the glorious things that were being done by Him.
13:18
耶穌說，神的國好像什麼？我可把它比作甚麼？
He said therefore, What is the kingdom of God like, and to what shall I liken it?
13:19
好像一粒芥菜種，有人拿去撒在自己的園子裏，長大成樹，天空的飛鳥棲宿在它的枝上。
It is like a mustard seed, which a man took and threw into his own garden, and it grew and became a tree, and the birds of heaven roosted in its branches.
13:20
祂又說，我可把神的國比作甚麼？
And again He said, To what shall I liken the kingdom of God?
13:21
好像麵酵，有婦人拿去藏在三斗麵裏，直到全團都發了酵。
It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal until the whole was leavened.
