4:20
猶大人和以色列人眾多，如同海邊的沙那樣多，都吃喝快樂。
Judah and Israel were as numerous as the sand that is by the sea in multitude, eating and drinking and rejoicing.
4:21
所羅門統管諸國，從大河到非利士人之地，直到埃及的邊界；所羅門在世的一切日子，這些國都進貢服事他。
And Solomon ruled over all the kingdoms from the River to the land of the Philistines and unto the border of Egypt; they brought tribute and served Solomon all the days of his life.
4:22
所羅門每日所用的食物有細麵三十歌珥，粗麵六十歌珥，
And Solomon's provisions for one day were thirty cors of fine flour and sixty cors of meal,
4:23
肥牛十隻，草場的牛二十只，羊一百隻，還有鹿、羚羊、麃子和肥禽。
Ten fattened oxen and twenty pastured oxen and a hundred sheep, besides deer and gazelles and roebucks and fattened fowl.
4:24
所羅門管理大河西邊，從提弗薩直到迦薩的全地，管理大河西邊的諸王；他的四境盡都平安。
For he had dominion over all the area west of the River, from Tiphsah to Gaza, over all the kings west of the River; and he had peace on all sides around him.
4:25
所羅門在世的一切日子，從但到別是巴的猶大人和以色列人，都在自己的葡萄樹下和無花果樹下安然居住。
And Judah and Israel dwelt securely, every man under his vine and under his fig tree, from Dan to Beer-sheba, throughout all Solomon's days.
4:26
所羅門有套車的馬四萬廄，還有馬兵一萬二千。
And Solomon had forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots and twelve thousand horsemen.
4:27
那十二個官吏各按各月供給所羅門王，並一切前來與所羅門王同席之人的食物，一無所缺。
And those superintendents provided food for King Solomon and for all who came to King Solomon's table, each in his month; they left nothing lacking.
4:28
他們也各按各分，將養馬與快馬的大麥和乾草，送到該送的地方。
And they also brought to the place where it should be, barley and straw for the horses and steeds, each according to his charge.
4:29
神賜給所羅門智慧、極大的聰明、和寬廣的心，如同海邊的沙那樣不可測量。
And God gave Solomon wisdom and very much understanding and largeness of heart, even as the sand that is on the seashore.
4:30
所羅門的智慧超過一切東方人的智慧，和埃及人的一切智慧。
And Solomon's wisdom was greater than the wisdom of all the children of the east and all the wisdom of Egypt.
4:31
他比萬人更有智慧，比以斯拉人以探，並瑪曷的兒子希幔、甲各、達大更有智慧。他的名聲傳揚在四圍的列國。
For he became wiser than all men, wiser than Ethan the Ezrahite, and Heman, and Calcol and Darda, the sons of Mahol. And his fame was among all the surrounding nations.
4:32
他說過箴言三千句，他的詩歌有一千零五首。
And he spoke three thousand proverbs, and his songs numbered a thousand and five.
4:33
他講論草木，自利巴嫩的香柏樹直到牆上長出的牛膝草，又講論走獸、飛鳥、爬物和魚。
And he discoursed about trees, from the cedar that is in Lebanon to the hyssop that shoots forth out of the wall; he also discoursed about animals and about birds and about creeping things and about fish.
4:34
從萬民中，從地上一切聽見所羅門智慧的君王那裏，都有人來聽他的智慧話。
And they came from all the peoples to hear the wisdom of Solomon, from all the kings of the earth who had heard of his wisdom.
5:1
推羅王希蘭，平素愛大衛；他聽見以色列人膏所羅門，接續他父親作王，就差遣臣僕來見他。
Now Hiram the king of Tyre sent his servants to Solomon when he heard that they had anointed him king in place of his father, for Hiram had always loved David.
5:2
所羅門也差遣人去見希蘭，說，
And Solomon sent word to Hiram, saying,
5:3
你知道我父親大衛因四圍的爭戰，不能為耶和華他神的名建殿，直等到耶和華使仇敵都服在他腳下。
You know about David my father that he was not able to build a house for the name of Jehovah his God because of the warfare that his enemies surrounded him with, until Jehovah put them under the soles of his feet.
5:4
現在耶和華我的神使我四圍得安息，沒有對頭，沒有災禍。
But now Jehovah my God has given me rest all around; there is no adversary or evil occurrence.
5:5
看哪，我有意為耶和華我神的名建殿，是照耶和華對我父親大衛所說的，說，你的兒子，就是我所要設立，
And now I intend to build a house for the name of Jehovah my God according to what Jehovah spoke to David my father, saying, Your son, whom I will put on your throne in your place, he will build the house for My name.
5:6
接續你坐在你位上的，他必為我的名建殿。所以求你吩咐人從利巴嫩為我砍伐香柏木，我的僕人必與你的僕人一同作工，我必照你所說定的，把你僕人的工價給你；因為你知道，在我們中間沒有人像西頓人那樣善於砍伐樹木。
Now therefore command that they cut for me cedars from Lebanon. And my servants will be with your servants, and I will give you payment for your servants, according to whatever you say; for you know that among us there is no one who knows how to cut timber like the Sidonians.
5:7
希蘭聽見所羅門的話，就甚歡喜，說，今日耶和華當受頌讚；祂賜給大衛一個有智慧的兒子，治理這眾多的民。
And when Hiram heard Solomon's words, he rejoiced greatly and said, Blessed be Jehovah this day, who has given David a wise son over this great people.
5:8
希蘭打發人去見所羅門，說，你差遣人向我所題的事，我聽見了；關於香柏木和松木，凡你所願的我都必成全。
And Hiram sent word to Solomon, saying, I have heard the message which you have sent me. I will do all your desire concerning cedar timber and cypress timber.
5:9
我的僕人必將木料從利巴嫩運下海裏；我把這些木料紮成筏子，浮海運到你所指定我的地方，在那裏拆開，你就可以收取。你也要成全我所願的，將食物給我的家。
My servants will bring down from Lebanon to the sea, and I will make them into rafts by sea to the place that you direct me; and I will break them apart there, and you can carry off. And you can fulfill my desire by giving food to my household.
5:10
於是希蘭照著所羅門所願的一切，給他香柏木和松木。
So Hiram gave Solomon cedar timber and cypress timber, all that he desired.
5:11
所羅門給希蘭麥子二萬歌珥，最上等的油二十歌珥，作他家的食物；所羅門每年都是這樣給希蘭。
And Solomon gave Hiram twenty thousand cors of wheat as food for his household and twenty cors of the finest oil; this did Solomon give to Hiram year by year.
5:12
耶和華照著所應許的賜智慧給所羅門；希蘭與所羅門和好，二人彼此立約。
And Jehovah gave Solomon wisdom, as He had promised him; and there was peace between Hiram and Solomon, and the two of them made a treaty.
5:13
所羅門王從全以色列人中徵召服苦役的，共有三萬人，
And King Solomon levied forced labor out of all Israel, and the forced labor amounted to thirty thousand men.
5:14
派他們輪流，每月一萬人到利巴嫩去；一個月在利巴嫩，兩個月在家裏。亞多尼蘭掌管這些服苦役的人。
And he sent them to Lebanon, ten thousand a month by courses: one month they were in Lebanon, and two months they were at home. And Adoniram was over the forced labor.
5:15
所羅門有七萬扛抬重物的，八萬在山上鑿石頭的；
And Solomon had seventy thousand burden bearers and eighty thousand stonecutters in the mountains,
5:16
此外，所羅門有三千三百督工的官長，監管作工的百姓。
Besides Solomon's three thousand three hundred chief officers over the work, who directed the people who did the work.
5:17
王下令，人就開採出又大又寶貴的石頭來，用鑿成的石頭立殿的根基。
And the king commanded, and they quarried great stones, costly stones, in order to lay the foundation of the house with hewn stone.
5:18
所羅門的匠人和希蘭的匠人，並迦巴勒人，將石頭鑿好，豫備木料和石頭建殿。
And Solomon's builders and Hiram's builders and the Gebalites fashioned the stone and prepared the timber and the stones in order to build the house.
6:1
以色列人出埃及地後四百八十年，所羅門作以色列王第四年西弗月，就是二月，開工建造耶和華的殿。
Then in the four hundred eightieth year after the children of Israel had come forth out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of his reign over Israel, in the month of Ziv (this is the second month), Solomon began to build the house of Jehovah.
6:2
所羅門王為耶和華所建的殿，長六十肘，寬二十肘，高三十肘。
And the house which King Solomon built to Jehovah was sixty cubits long and twenty cubits wide and thirty cubits high.
6:3
聖殿的外殿前有廊子，長二十肘，與殿的寬度一樣，闊十肘，在殿的前面。
And the portico that was before the temple of the house was twenty cubits long, across the width of the house, and ten cubits deep, in front of the house.
6:4
他為殿作了有固定窗櫺的窗戶。
And for the house he made windows with fixed lattices.
6:5
靠著殿牆，圍著外殿內殿的牆，建了四圍的樓房；這樣，就造了四圍的旁屋。
And against the wall of the house he built a structure with stories all around, next to the walls of the house all around the temple and the innermost sanctuary; and he made side chambers all around.
6:6
樓房下層寬五肘，中層寬六肘，第三層寬七肘；因殿的外牆四圍留有牆坎，免得梁木插入殿牆。
The lowest story was five cubits wide; and the middle, six cubits wide; and the third, seven cubits wide; for he provided for outsets to the house all around the outside, so that the beams would not be inserted into the walls of the house.
6:7
建殿是用採石場豫備好的石頭，所以建殿的時候，在殿裏聽不見錘子、斧子、或任何鐵器的響聲。
And the house, when it was being built, was built of finished stone, cut at the quarry, so that neither hammer nor ax nor any iron tool was heard in the house when it was being built.
6:8
當中旁屋的門口在殿右邊，門內有旋螺的樓梯，可以上到中層，從中層可以上到第三層。
The door of the middle side chamber was on the right side of the house; and they went up by winding stairs into the middle story, and from the middle into the third.
6:9
所羅門建殿，並且建造完成；他用香柏木作棟樑，又用香柏木板遮蓋。
So he built the house and finished it, and he covered the house with beams and planks of cedar.
6:10
靠著全殿所造的樓房，每層高五肘，用香柏木料與殿連接。
And he built the stories against all the house, five cubits high; and the structure was held to the house by cedar timbers.
6:11
耶和華的話臨到所羅門說，
Then the word of Jehovah came to Solomon, saying,
6:12
論到你所建的這殿，你若遵行我的律例，履行我的典章，謹守我的一切誡命，行在其中，我必向你實現我對你父親大衛所說的話；
As for this house that you are building, if you walk in My statutes and execute My ordinances and keep all My commandments by walking in them, then I will establish My word with you, which I spoke to David your father;
6:13
我必住在以色列人中間，並不丟棄我民以色列。
And I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel, and I will not forsake My people Israel.
6:14
所羅門建造殿宇，並且建造完成。
So Solomon built the house and finished it.
6:15
他用香柏木板造殿內的牆，從地到頂都貼上木板，
And he built the walls of the house within with cedar boards; from the floor of the house to the wall of the ceiling he covered them on the inside with wood. And he overlaid the floor of the house with boards of cypress.
6:16
殿的地面都鋪上松木板。他又把殿後部的二十肘，從地到頂都用香柏木板遮蔽，建造為內殿，就是至聖所。
And he built twenty cubits of the rear part of the house with cedar boards from the floor to the walls of the ceiling; and he built it within as an innermost sanctuary, as the Holy of Holies.
6:17
至聖所前有外殿，這殿長四十肘。
And the house, that is, the temple before the Holy of Holies, was forty cubits long.
6:18
殿裏鋪的香柏木刻著野瓜和初開的花；殿裏一概鋪了香柏木，一點石頭都不顯露。
And there was cedar on the house within, carved with gourds and open flowers. It was all cedar; there was no stone showing.
6:19
他在殿裏豫備了內殿，好將耶和華的約櫃安放在那裏。
And he prepared an innermost sanctuary in the midst of the house within, in order to put the Ark of the Covenant of Jehovah there.
6:20
內殿裏面長二十肘，寬二十肘，高二十肘，都貼上純金；
And the interior of the innermost sanctuary was twenty cubits long and twenty cubits wide and twenty cubits high; and he overlaid it with pure gold, and he overlaid the altar with cedar.
6:21
又將香柏木作的壇包上純金。所羅門用純金貼了殿裏面；又把金鍊子橫掛在內殿前，內殿都貼上金子。
And Solomon overlaid the house within with pure gold; and he drew gold chains before the innermost sanctuary, and overlaid it with gold.
6:22
全殿貼上金子，直到都貼了；屬於內殿的壇，整個都用金子包裹。
So he overlaid all the house with gold, until all the house was complete; and the whole altar, which belonged to the innermost sanctuary, he overlaid with gold.
6:23
他用橄欖木作兩個基路伯，各高十肘，安在內殿。
And in the innermost sanctuary he made two cherubim of olive wood, ten cubits high.
6:24
基路伯的一個翅膀長五肘，第二個翅膀也長五肘；從這翅膀尖到那翅膀尖共有十肘。
And the one wing of the cherub was five cubits, and the second wing of the cherub was five cubits; ten cubits from the end of its one wing to the end of its other wing.
6:25
第二個基路伯的兩個翅膀也是十肘；兩個基路伯的尺寸、形像都是一樣。
And the second cherub was ten cubits; both cherubim had one measure and one shape.
6:26
第一個基路伯高十肘，第二個基路伯也是如此。
The height of the one cherub was ten cubits, and so was that of the second cherub.
6:27
他將兩個基路伯安在內殿中間；基路伯的翅膀是張開的，這基路伯的一個翅膀觸著這邊的牆，第二個基路伯的一個翅膀觸著那邊的牆，裏邊的兩個翅膀在殿中間彼此相觸。
And he put the cherubim in the midst of the inner house. And the wings of the cherubim were spread out so that the wing of the one cherub was touching the wall and the wing of the second cherub was touching the second wall; and their other wings were touching at the middle of the house, wing to wing.
6:28
又用金子包裹二基路伯。
And he overlaid the cherubim with gold.
6:29
殿周圍所有的牆上刻著基路伯、棕樹、和初開的花，內殿、外殿都是如此。
And he carved all the walls of the house all around with engraved carvings of cherubim and palm trees and open flowers, in both the inner chamber and the outer one.
6:30
殿的地板貼上金子，內殿、外殿都是如此。
And the floor of the house he overlaid with gold, in both the inner chamber and the outer one.
6:31
又用橄欖木製造內殿入口的門；門楣、門框有牆寬的五分之一。
And for the entrance of the innermost sanctuary he made doors of olive wood; the lintel and doorposts were a fifth of the breadth of the wall.
6:32
在橄欖木作的兩扇門上，刻著基路伯、棕樹、和初開的花，都貼上金子，
And there were two doors of olive wood. And he carved carvings of cherubim and palm trees and open flowers upon them, and he overlaid them with gold and spread the gold upon the cherubim and the palm trees.
6:33
基路伯和棕樹都打上金子。又照樣用橄欖木製造外殿入口的門框，有牆寬的四分之一。
So also he made for the entrance of the temple doorposts of olive wood, out of a fourth of the breadth of the wall,
6:34
用松木作門兩扇；第一扇門分兩頁，是摺疊的；第二扇門分兩頁，也是摺疊的。
And two doors of cypress wood; the two leaves of the one door folded, and the two leaves of the second door folded.
6:35
門上面刻著基路伯、棕樹、和初開的花，都用金子貼了，均勻的貼在雕刻物上。
And he carved cherubim and palm trees and open flowers on them, and he overlaid them with gold evenly applied over the carved work.
6:36
他又用鑿成的石頭三層、香柏木梁一層建築內院。
And he built the inner court with three courses of hewn stone and a course of cedar beams.
6:37
所羅門在位第四年西弗月，立了耶和華殿的根基。
In the fourth year the foundation of the house of Jehovah was laid, in the month of Ziv;
6:38
到十一年布勒月，就是八月，殿的各部分都按著指定的樣式完成。他建殿共用了七年。
And in the eleventh year, in the month of Bul (which is the eighth month) the house was completed in all its parts and according to all its specifications. Thus he was seven years building it.

4:27
正在這時候，耶穌的門徒回來，就希奇祂同一個婦人說話；只是沒有人說，你尋求甚麼？或說，你為甚麼同她說話？
And at this point His disciples came, and they marveled that He was speaking with a woman; yet no one said, What are You seeking? or, Why are You speaking with her?
4:28
那婦人就留下她的水罐子，往城裏去，對眾人說，
Then the woman left her waterpot and went away into the city, and said to the people,
4:29
你們來看，有一個人將我素來所行的一切事，都給我說出來了，這豈不就是基督麼？
Come, see a man who told me all that I have done. Is this not the Christ?
4:30
眾人就出城往耶穌那裏去。
They went out of the city and came to Him.
4:31
這其間，門徒求耶穌說，拉比，請吃。
In the meantime, the disciples urged Him, saying, Rabbi, eat.
4:32
祂對他們說，我有食物吃，是你們不知道的。
But He said to them, I have food to eat that you do not know about.
4:33
門徒就彼此說，莫非有人拿甚麼給祂吃了？
The disciples therefore said to one another, Has anyone brought Him anything to eat?
4:34
耶穌說，我的食物就是實行差我來者的旨意，作成祂的工。
Jesus said to them, My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me and to finish His work.
4:35
你們豈不是說，到收割的時候，還有四個月麼？看哪，我告訴你們，舉目向田觀看，莊稼已經發白，可以收割了。
Do you not say that there are yet four months and then the harvest comes? Behold, I tell you, Lift up your eyes and look on the fields, for they are already white for harvest.
4:36
收割的人得工價，收積五穀歸入永遠的生命，叫撒種的和收割的一同歡樂。
He who reaps receives wages and gathers fruit unto eternal life, in order that he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together.
4:37
那人撒種，這人收割，這話可見是真的。
For in this the saying is true, One sows and another reaps.
4:38
我差你們去收你們所沒有勞苦的，別人勞苦，你們享受他們所勞苦的。
I sent you to reap that for which you have not labored; others have labored, and you have entered into their labor.
4:39
那城裏有好些撒瑪利亞人信入了耶穌，因為那婦人作見證說，祂將我素來所行的一切事，都給我說出來了。
And many of the Samaritans from that city believed into Him because of the word of the woman who testified, He told me all that I have done.
4:40
於是撒瑪利亞人來到耶穌跟前，求祂同他們住下，祂便在那裏住了兩天。
So when the Samaritans came to Him, they asked Him to remain with them, and He remained there two days.
4:41
因耶穌的話，信的人就更多了。
And many more believed because of His word.
4:42
他們便對婦人說，現在我們信，不再是因你的話；因為我們親自聽見了，知道這位真是世人的救主。
And they said to the woman, It is no longer because of your speaking that we believe, for we ourselves have heard and know that this One is truly the Savior of the world.
4:43
過了那兩天，耶穌就離開那裏，往加利利去。
And after the two days He went forth from there into Galilee,
4:44
因為耶穌自己作過見證說，申言者在本地是不受尊敬的。
For Jesus Himself testified that a prophet has no honor in his own country.
4:45
到了加利利，加利利人因為看見祂在耶路撒冷過節時所行的一切事，就接待祂，因為他們也曾上去過節。
Then when He came into Galilee, the Galileans received Him, having seen all that He did in Jerusalem at the feast, for they also went to the feast.
4:46
耶穌又到了加利利的迦拿，就是祂從前變水為酒的地方。有一個大臣，他的兒子在迦百農患病。
He then came again to Cana of Galilee, where He had made the water wine. And there was a certain royal official, whose son was sick in Capernaum.
4:47
這人聽見耶穌從猶太到了加利利，就去到祂那裏，求祂下去醫治他的兒子，因為他兒子快要死了。
When he heard that Jesus had come out of Judea into Galilee, he went to Him and asked Him to come down and heal his son, for he was about to die.
4:48
耶穌就對他說，若不看見神蹟奇事，你們總是不信。
Jesus therefore said to him, Unless you see signs and wonders, you will by no means believe.
4:49
那大臣對祂說，先生，求你趁著我的孩子還沒有死，就下去。
The royal official said to Him, Sir, come down before my little child dies.
4:50
耶穌對他說，去吧，你的兒子活了。那人信耶穌對他所說的話，就去了。
Jesus said to him, Go, your son lives. The man believed the word which Jesus said to him and went his way.
4:51
正下去的時候，他的奴僕迎見他，說他的孩子活了。
And as he was now going down, his slaves met him and said that his child was living.
4:52
他就向他們查問，孩子是甚麼時候見好的。他們說，昨天午後七時，燒就退了。
So he asked them the hour in which he got better. They said then to him, Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him.
4:53
父親便知道，那正是耶穌對他說你兒子活了的時候，他和他全家就都信了。
Then the father knew that it was in that hour in which Jesus said to him, Your son lives; and he believed, he and his whole house.
4:54
這第二件神蹟，是耶穌從猶太來到加利利以後行的。
Again, this second sign Jesus performed when He came out of Judea into Galilee.
