雅弗的兒子是歌篾、瑪各、瑪代、雅完、土巴、米設、提拉。
The sons of Japheth: Gomer and Magog and Madai and Javan and Tubal and Meshech and Tiras.

歌篾的兒子是亞實基拿、低法、陀迦瑪。
And the sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz and Diphath and Togarmah.

雅完的子孫是以利沙、他施、基提人、羅單人。
And the sons of Javan: Elishah and Tarshish, Kittim and Rodanim.

含的兒子是古實、麥西、弗、迦南。
The sons of Ham: Cush and Mizraim, Put and Canaan.

古實的兒子是西巴、哈腓拉、撒弗他、拉瑪、撒弗提迦。拉瑪的兒子是示巴、底但。
And the sons of Cush: Seba and Havilah and Sabta and Raama and Sabtecha. And the sons of Raamah: Sheba and Dedan.

古實又生寧錄；他是地上最早的勇士。
And Cush begot Nimrod: He began to be a mighty one on the earth.

麥西生路低人、亞拿米人、利哈比人、拿弗土希人、
And Mizraim begot the Ludim and the Anamim and the Lehabim and the Naphtuhim

帕斯魯細人、迦斯路希人、迦斐託人；從迦斯路希人出來的有非利士人。
And the Pathrusim and the Casluhim, from which came the Philistines, and the Caphtorim.

迦南生長子西頓，又生赫、
And Canaan begot Sidon his firstborn and Heth

和耶布斯人、亞摩利人、革迦撒人、
And the Jebusites and the Amorites and the Girgashites
1:15
希未人、亞基人、西尼人、
And the Hivites and the Arkites and the Sinites
1:16
亞瓦底人、洗瑪利人、哈馬人。
And the Arvadites and the Zemarites and the Hamathites.

閃的兒子是以攔、亞述、亞法撒、路德、亞蘭、烏斯、戶勒、基帖、米設。
The sons of Shem: Elam and Asshur and Arpachshad and Lud and Aram and Uz and Hul and Gether and Meshech.

亞法撒生沙拉；沙拉生希伯。
And Arpachshad begot Shelah, and Shelah begot Eber.

希伯生了兩個兒子，一個名叫法勒，因為在他的日子人才分地居住；法勒的兄弟名叫約坍。
And to Eber were born two sons: The name of the one was Peleg, for in his days the earth was divided; and his brother's name was Joktan.

And Joktan begot Almodad and Sheleph and Hazarmaveth and Jerah

哈多蘭、烏薩、德拉、
And Hadoram and Uzal and Diklah

And Ebal and Abimael and Sheba

阿斐、哈腓拉、約巴；這些都是約坍的兒子。
And Ophir and Havilah and Jobab; all these were the sons of Joktan.

Shem, Arpachshad, Shelah,

希伯、法勒、拉吳、
Eber, Peleg, Reu,

西鹿、拿鶴、他拉、
Serug, Nahor, Terah,

亞伯蘭，就是亞伯拉罕。
Abram (the same is Abraham).

亞伯拉罕的兒子是以撒、以實瑪利。
The sons of Abraham: Isaac and Ishmael.

他們的後代記在下面：以實瑪利的長子是尼拜約，其次是基達、押德別、米比衫、
These are their generations: the firstborn of Ishmael, Nebaioth; then Kedar and Adbeel and Mibsam;

米施瑪、度瑪、瑪撒、哈達、提瑪、
Mishma and Dumah; Massa, Hadad, and Tema;

伊突、拿非施、基底瑪；這些都是以實瑪利的兒子。
Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah; these were the sons of Ishmael.

亞伯拉罕的妾基土拉所生的兒子，是心蘭、約珊、米但、米甸、伊施巴、書亞。約珊的兒子是示巴、底但。
And the sons of Keturah, Abraham's concubine: She bore Zimran and Jokshan and Medan and Midian and Ishbak and Shuah. And the sons of Jokshan: Sheba and Dedan.

米甸的兒子是以法、以弗、哈諾、亞比大、以勒大；這些都是基土拉的子孫。
And the sons of Midian: Ephah and Epher and Hanoch and Abida and Eldaah. All these were the sons of Keturah.

亞伯拉罕生以撒。以撒的兒子是以掃和以色列。
And Abraham begot Isaac. The sons of Isaac: Esau and Israel.

以掃的兒子是以利法、流珥、耶烏施、雅蘭、可拉。
The sons of Esau: Eliphaz, Reuel, and Jeush, and Jaalam and Korah.

以利法的兒子是提幔、阿抹、洗玻、迦坦、基納斯、亭納、亞瑪力。
The sons of Eliphaz: Teman and Omar, Zephi and Gatam, Kenaz and Timna and Amalek.

流珥的兒子是拿哈、謝拉、沙瑪、米撒。
The sons of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.
1:38
西珥的兒子是羅坍、朔巴、祭便、亞拿、底順、以察、底珊。
And the sons of Seir: Lotan and Shobal and Zibeon and Anah and Dishon and Ezer and Dishan.
1:39
羅坍的兒子是何利、荷幔；羅坍的妹妹是亭納。
And the sons of Lotan: Hori and Homam. And Lotan's sister: Timna.

朔巴的兒子是亞勒文、瑪拿轄、以巴錄、示非、阿南。祭便的兒子是亞雅、亞拿。
The sons of Shobal: Alian and Manahath and Ebal, Shephi and Onam. And the sons of Zibeon: Aiah and Anah.

亞拿的兒子是底順。底順的兒子是哈默蘭、伊是班、益蘭、基蘭。
The son of Anah: Dishon. And the sons of Dishon: Hamran and Eshban and Ithran and Cheran.

以察的兒子是辟罕、撒番、亞干。底珊的兒子是烏斯、亞蘭。
The sons of Ezer: Bilhan and Zaavan, Jaakan. The sons of Dishan: Uz and Aran.

以色列人未有君王治理以前，在以東地作王的記在下面。有比珥的兒子比拉，他的京城名叫亭哈巴。
And these are the kings who reigned in the land of Edom before a king of the children of Israel reigned: Bela the son of Beor; and the name of his city was Dinhabah.

比拉死了，波斯拉人謝拉的兒子約巴接替他作王。
And Bela died, and Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his place.
1:45
約巴死了，提幔地的人戶珊接替他作王。
And Jobab died, and Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his place.
1:46
戶珊死了，比達的兒子哈達接替他作王；這哈達就是在摩押田野擊殺米甸人的，他的京城名叫亞未得。
And Husham died; and Hadad the son of Bedad, who struck Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his place; and the name of his city was Avith.

哈達死了，瑪士利加人桑拉接替他作王。
And Hadad died, and Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his place.
1:48
桑拉死了，大河邊的利河伯人掃羅接替他作王。掃羅死了，亞革波的兒子巴勒哈南接替他作王。
And Samlah died, and Shaul of Rehoboth by the River reigned in his place.
1:49
巴勒哈南死了，哈達接替他作王，
And Shaul died, and Baal-hanan the son of Achbor reigned in his place.

他的京城名叫巴伊，他的妻子名叫米希他別，是米薩合的孫女，瑪特列的女兒。
And Baal-hanan died, and Hadad reigned in his place. And the name of his city was Pai; and his wife's name was Mehetabel the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.

哈達死了，以東人的各族有亭納族、亞勒瓦族、耶帖族、
And Hadad died. And the clans of Edom were: the clan Timna, the clan of Aliah, the clan of Jetheth,

阿何利巴瑪族、以拉族、比嫩族、
The clan of Oholibamah, the clan of Elah, the clan of Pinon,

基納斯族、提幔族、米比薩族、
The clan of Kenaz, the clan of Teman, the clan of Mibzar,

瑪基疊族、以蘭族。這些是以東人的各族。
The clan of Magdiel, the clan of Iram. These were the clans of Edom.
2:1
以色列的兒子記在下面：流便、西緬、利未、猶大、以薩迦、西布倫、
These are the sons of Israel: Reuben, Simeon, Levi and Judah, Issachar and Zebulun,

但、約瑟、便雅憫、拿弗他利、迦得、亞設。
Dan, Joseph and Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad and Asher.

約翰福音 John 18:1-38a
18:1
耶穌說了這些話，就同門徒出去，過了汲淪溪，在那裏有一個園子，祂和門徒進去了。
When Jesus had said these things, He went forth with His disciples across the brook Kedron, where there was a garden, into which He entered as well as His disciples.
18:2
出賣耶穌的猶大也知道那地方，因為耶穌同門徒時常到那裏聚集。
And Judas also, who was betraying Him, knew the place, for Jesus often gathered there with His disciples.
18:3
猶大領了一隊兵，和祭司長並法利賽人的差役，拿著火把、燈籠、武器，來到那裏。
Then Judas, having gotten the cohort and some attendants from the chief priests and Pharisees, came there with torches and lamps and weapons.
18:4
耶穌知道將要臨到自己的一切事，就出來，對他們說，你們找誰？
Jesus therefore, knowing all the things that were coming upon Him, went forth and said to them, Whom do you seek?
18:5
他們回答說，拿撒勒人耶穌。祂說，我是。出賣祂的猶大也同他們站在一起。
They answered Him, Jesus the Nazarene. He said to them, I am. And Judas also, who was betraying Him, was standing with them.
18:6
耶穌一說，我是，他們就退後，倒在地上。
When therefore He said to them, I am, they drew back and fell to the ground.
18:7
祂又問他們說，你們找誰？他們說，拿撒勒人耶穌。
Then again He asked them, Whom do you seek? And they said, Jesus the Nazarene.
18:8
耶穌回答說，我已經告訴你們，我是；你們若找我，就讓這些人走吧。
Jesus answered, I told you that I am; if therefore you seek Me, let these go away,
18:9
這是要應驗耶穌從前所說的話：你所賜給我的人，我一個也沒有失落。
That the word might be fulfilled which He spoke, Of those whom You have given Me, I have not lost one.
18:10
西門彼得帶著一把刀，就拔出來，將大祭司的奴僕砍了一刀，削掉他的右耳，那奴僕名叫馬勒古。
Then Simon Peter, having a sword, drew it and struck the slave of the high priest and cut off his right ear; and the slave's name was Malchus.
18:11
耶穌就對彼得說，收刀入鞘吧！我父所給我的那杯，我豈可不喝？
Jesus therefore said to Peter, Put the sword into its sheath. The cup which the Father has given Me, shall I not drink it?
18:12
那隊兵和千夫長並猶太人的差役，就捉住耶穌，把祂捆綁起來，
Then the cohort and the commander and the attendants of the Jews seized Jesus and bound Him
18:13
先帶到亞那跟前，因為亞那是當年大祭司該亞法的岳父。
And led Him away to Annas first; for he was the father-in-law of Caiaphas, who was high priest that year.
18:14
這該亞法就是從前給猶太人出過主意說，一個人替百姓死是有益的那位。
Now it was Caiaphas who had advised the Jews that it was expedient for one man to die for the people.
18:15
西門彼得跟著耶穌，另有一個門徒也跟著。那門徒是大祭司所認識的，他就同耶穌進了大祭司的院子。
And Simon Peter followed Jesus, as well as another disciple. And that disciple was known to the high priest, and he entered with Jesus into the court of the high priest;
18:16
彼得卻站在門外。大祭司所認識的那個門徒出來，和看門的使女說了一聲，就領彼得進去。
But Peter stood at the door outside. Then the other disciple, the one known to the high priest, went out and spoke to the maid who kept the door and brought Peter in.
18:17
那看門的使女對彼得說，你不也是這人的門徒麼？他說，我不是。
Then the maid who kept the door said to Peter, Are you not also one of this man's disciples? He said, I am not.
18:18
奴僕和差役，因為寒冷，就生了炭火，站著烤火，彼得也同他們站著烤火。
Now the slaves and the attendants were standing there, having made a fire of coals, for it was cold, and they were warming themselves; and Peter also was with them, standing and warming himself.
18:19
大祭司就盤問耶穌關於祂門徒和祂教訓的事。
The high priest then questioned Jesus concerning His disciples and concerning His teaching.
18:20
耶穌回答說，我向來是公開的對世人說話；我常在眾多猶太人聚集的會堂和殿裏施教，在暗地裏我並沒有說甚麼。
Jesus answered him, I have spoken openly to the world; I always taught in the synagogue and in the temple, where all the Jews come together, and I spoke nothing in secret.
18:21
你為甚麼問我？可以問那聽見的人，我對他們說的是甚麼。看哪，我所說的，他們都知道。
Why do you question Me? Question those who have heard Me, concerning what I spoke to them; behold, these know what I said.
18:22
耶穌說了這些話，旁邊站著的一個差役，用手掌打祂，說，你這樣回答大祭司麼？
And when He said these things, one of the attendants standing by slapped Jesus, saying, Is that how You answer the high priest?
18:23
耶穌回答說，我若說的不對，你可以指證那裏不對；若說的對，你為甚麼打我？
Jesus answered him, If I have spoken wrongly, testify concerning the wrong; but if rightly, why do you strike Me?
18:24
亞那把耶穌仍然捆著，解到大祭司該亞法那裏去。
Annas then sent Him bound to Caiaphas the high priest.
18:25
西門彼得正站著烤火，有人對他說，你不也是祂的門徒麼？彼得不承認，說，我不是。
Now Simon Peter was standing and warming himself. Then they said to him, Are you not also one of His disciples? He denied and said, I am not.
18:26
有大祭司的一個奴僕，是彼得削掉耳朵那人的親屬，說，我不是看見你同祂在園子裏麼？
One of the slaves of the high priest, who was a relative of him whose ear Peter had cut off, said, Did I not see you in the garden with Him?
18:27
彼得又不承認，立刻雞就叫了。
Then Peter denied again, and immediately a rooster crowed.
18:28
眾人將耶穌從該亞法那裏解往總督府去，那時是清早。他們自己卻不進總督府去，恐怕染了污穢，不能喫逾越節的筵席。
Then they led Jesus from Caiaphas into the praetorium, and it was early morning. And they themselves did not enter into the praetorium, so that they would not be defiled, but might eat the passover.
18:29
彼拉多就出來，到他們那裏，說，你們拿甚麼控告這人？
Pilate therefore went outside to them and said, What accusation do you bring against this man?
18:30
他們回答說，這人若不是作惡的，我們就不會把祂交給你。
They answered and said to him, If this man were not doing evil, we would not have delivered Him to you.
18:31
彼拉多對他們說，你們自己把祂帶去，按著你們的律法審判祂吧。猶太人說，我們殺人是不可的。
Pilate said then to them, You take Him and judge Him according to your law. The Jews said to him, It is not lawful for us to kill anyone,
18:32
這是要應驗耶穌所說，那指明祂將要怎樣死的話。
That the word of Jesus might be fulfilled which He spoke, signifying by what kind of death He was to die.
18:33
彼拉多又進了總督府，叫耶穌來，對祂說，你是猶太人的王麼？
Pilate therefore entered again into the praetorium and called for Jesus. And he said to Him, You are the King of the Jews?
18:34
耶穌回答說，這話是你由於自己說的，還是別人對你論到我說的？
Jesus answered, Are you saying this of yourself, or did others tell you about Me?
18:35
彼拉多說，我豈是猶太人？你本國的人和祭司長把你交給我，你究竟作了甚麼事？
Pilate answered, Am I a Jew? Your nation and its chief priests have delivered You to me. What have You done?
18:36
耶穌回答說，我的國不屬這世界；我的國若屬這世界，我的臣僕必要爭戰，使我不至於被交給猶太人；只是我的國不是來自這裏的。
Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My attendants would be struggling so that I would not be delivered to the Jews; but as it is, My kingdom is not from here.
18:37
彼拉多就對祂說，這樣，你不是王麼？耶穌回答說，你說我是王，我為此而生，也為此來到世間，為要給真理作見證；凡屬真理的人，就聽我的聲音。
Pilate said therefore to Him, So then You are a king? Jesus answered, You say that I am a king. For this I have been born, and for this I have come into the world, that I would testify to the truth. Every one who is of the truth hears My voice.
18:38a
彼拉多對祂說，真理是甚麼？
Pilate said to Him, What is truth?
