以斯拉記 Ezra5：1-6：22
5:1
那時，申言者哈該和易多的孫子撒迦利亞，在臨到他們之以色列神的名裏，向猶大和耶路撒冷的猶大人申言。
Now the prophets, Haggai the prophet and Zechariah the son of Iddo, prophesied to the Jews who were in Judah and Jerusalem in the name of the God of Israel who was over them.
5:2
於是撒拉鐵的兒子所羅巴伯和約薩達的兒子耶書亞都起來，動手建造在耶路撒冷神的殿，有神的申言者與他們同在，幫助他們。
Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel and Jeshua the son of Jozadak rose up and began to build the house of God, which is in Jerusalem; and the prophets of God were with them, helping them.
5:3
當時河西的總督達乃和示他波斯乃，並他們的同僚來見他們，這樣問說，誰降旨讓你們建造這殿，修成這牆呢？
At the same time Tattenai the governor beyond the River and Shethar-bozenai and their companions came to them and spoke to them in this way, Who gave you a decree to build this house and to finish this wall?
5:4
我們便告訴他們，建造這殿宇的人叫什麼名字。
Then we told them accordingly what the names of the men were who were constructing this building.
5:5
神的眼目看顧猶大的長老，以致那些人沒有叫他們停工，直到呈報於大利烏，得著關於這事的回諭。
But the eye of their God was upon the elders of the Jews, and they did not stop them, until a report went to Darius; and then an answer was returned by letter concerning it.
5:6
河西的總督達乃和示他波斯乃，並他們的同僚，就是在河西的官員，所呈於大利烏王的奏章，謄抄如下；
This is the copy of the letter that Tattenai the governor beyond the River and Shethar-bozenai and his companions the officials, who were beyond the River, sent to Darius the king;
5:7
他們呈報於王，報告中寫著說，願大利烏王諸事平安。
They sent a report to him in which was written as follows, To Darius the king, all peace.
5:8
王該知道，我們往猶大省去，到了至大神的殿，這殿是用大石建造的，梁木插入牆內；這工作進行甚為迅速，並且在他們手下亨通。
Let it be known to the king that we went to the province of Judah, to the house of the great God, which is being built with large stones, and timber is being laid in the walls; and this work is being conducted with diligence and prospers in their hands.
5:9
我們問那些長老說，誰降旨讓你們建造這殿，修成這牆呢？
Then we asked those elders, speaking to them in this way, Who gave you a decree to build this house and to finish this wall?
5:10
我們又問他們的名字，要記錄他們首領的名字，稟告于王。
We also asked them their names in order to inform you, so that we might write down the names of the men who were at their head.
5:11
他們這樣回答說，我們是天地之神的僕人，重建多年前所建造的殿，就是以色列的一位大君王建造完成的。
And they returned us an answer in this way, saying, We are the servants of the God of heaven and earth and are rebuilding the house that was built many years ago, which a great king of Israel built and finished.
5:12
只因我們列祖惹天上的神發怒，神把他們交在迦勒底人巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒的手中，他就拆毀這殿，又將百姓遷徙到巴比倫。
But because our fathers had provoked the God of heaven to anger, He gave them into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, the Chaldean, who destroyed this house and carried the people away to Babylon.
5:13
然而巴比倫王古列元年，古列王降旨建造神的這殿。
But in the first year of Cyrus the king of Babylon, King Cyrus made a decree to build this house of God.
5:14
神殿的金銀器皿，就是尼布甲尼撒從耶路撒冷的殿中取出，帶到巴比倫廟裏的，古列王從巴比倫廟裏取出來，交給他所派為省長的，名叫設巴薩，
And also the gold and silver vessels of the house of God, which Nebuchadnezzar took out of the temple that was in Jerusalem and brought into the temple of Babylon, these King Cyrus took out of the temple of Babylon, and they were given to one whose name was Sheshbazzar, whom he had made governor;
5:15
對他說，可以將這些器皿帶去，放在耶路撒冷的殿中，讓神的殿在原處建造起來。
And he said to him, Take these vessels, go and put them in the temple in Jerusalem, and let the house of God be rebuilt in its place.
5:16
於是這設巴薩來安放耶路撒冷神殿的根基；這殿從那時到如今一直在建造中，尚未完成。
Then the same Sheshbazzar came and laid the foundations of the house of God, which is in Jerusalem; and since that time even until now it has been under construction and has not yet been finished.
5:17
現在王若以為美，請派人尋查王在巴比倫的寶庫，看古列王曾否降旨在耶路撒冷建造神的殿；王對這事喜悅如何，請降旨曉諭我們。
Now therefore if it seems good to the king, let a search be made in the king's treasure house, which is there in Babylon, to see whether it is the case that a decree was made by King Cyrus for the building of this house of God in Jerusalem; and let the king send his pleasure to us concerning this.
6:1
於是大利烏王降旨，人就在巴比倫存放寶物的典籍庫內尋查；
Then Darius the king made a decree, and search was made in the house of the archives, where the treasures were stored in Babylon.
6:2
在亞馬他，在瑪代省的宮內尋得一卷，其中有記錄這樣寫著：
And a scroll was found at Achmetha, in the palace that is in the province of Media, and on it this was written as a record:
6:3
古列王元年，古列王降旨論到在耶路撒冷神的殿，要建造這殿為獻祭之處，建立殿的根基；殿高六十肘，寬六十肘，
In the first year of King Cyrus, King Cyrus made a decree concerning the house of God at Jerusalem: Let the house be built, the place where they offer sacrifices; and let its foundations be raised, its height being sixty cubits, and its width sixty cubits,
6:4
用三層大石頭，一層木頭，經費由王庫支付；
With three layers of large stones, and one layer of timber; and let the expenses be given out of the king's house.
6:5
並且神殿的金銀器皿，就是尼布甲尼撒從耶路撒冷的殿中取出，帶到巴比倫的，要歸還帶到耶路撒冷的殿中，各按原處放在神的殿裏。
And also let the gold and silver vessels of the house of God, which Nebuchadnezzar took out of the temple which is in Jerusalem and brought to Babylon, be returned and brought again to the temple which is in Jerusalem, to its place; and you shall put them in the house of God.
6:6
現在河西的總督達乃和示他波斯乃，並你們的同僚，就是在河西的官員，你們當遠離那裏。
Now therefore, Tattenai the governor beyond the River, Shethar-bozenai, and your companions the officials, in the province beyond the River, keep far away from there.
6:7
不要攔阻神這殿的工作，任憑猶大人的省長和猶大人的長老在原處建造神的這殿。
Leave the work of this house of God alone; let the governor of the Jews and the elders of the Jews build this house of God on its site.
6:8
我又降旨，論到你們向猶大人的這些長老，為建造神的這殿當怎樣行，就是從王的資產，從河西的貢物中，給他們撥出充足的經費，免得工程停頓。
Moreover I make a decree concerning what you are to do for these elders of the Jews for the building of this house of God: From the property of the king, even the tribute of the province beyond the River, expenses are to be given in full to these men that the work not cease.
6:9
他們向天上的神獻燔祭所需用的公牛犢、公綿羊、綿羊羔，並所用的麥子、鹽、酒、油，都要照耶路撒冷祭司的話，每日供給他們，不得有誤；
And whatever is needed, young bulls and rams and lambs, for burnt offerings to the God of heaven; also wheat, salt, wine, and oil, according to the word of the priests who are in Jerusalem, let it be given to them day by day without fail,
6:10
好叫他們獻馨香的祭給天上的神，又為王和王眾子的性命禱告。
That they may offer incense to the God of heaven and pray for the life of the king and his sons.
6:11
我再降旨，無論誰更改這命令，必從他房屋中拆出一根梁木，把他舉起，釘在其上，並且因這緣故，使他的房屋成為糞堆。
Also I have made a decree that whoever alters this word, timber shall be pulled out from his house, and he shall be lifted up and impaled on it, and his house shall be made a dunghill on account of this.
6:12
若有任何王和民伸手更改這命令，拆毀在耶路撒冷神的這殿，願那使自己的名居住在那裏的神將他們滅絕。我大利烏降旨，當徹底迅速的遵行。
And may the God who has caused His name to dwell there overthrow any king or people who put forth their hand to alter this or to destroy this house of God, which is in Jerusalem. I, Darius, have made a decree; let it be carried out with all diligence.
6:13
於是，河西總督達乃和示他波斯乃，並他們的同僚，就照著大利烏王所降的諭旨，徹底迅速的遵行。
Then Tattenai the governor beyond the River, Shethar-bozenai, and their companions, carried out everything with all diligence according to what Darius the king had sent order to do.
6:14
猶大長老因申言者哈該、和易多的孫子撒迦利亞的申言，就建造這殿，凡事亨通。他們照著以色列神的命令和波斯王古列、大利烏、亞達薛西的旨意，建造完畢。
And the elders of the Jews built, and they prospered through the prophesying of Haggai the prophet and Zechariah the son of Iddo. And they finished building according to the command of the God of Israel and according to the decree of Cyrus and Darius and Artaxerxes the king of Persia.
6:15
大利烏王在位第六年，亞達月初三日，這殿完成了。
And this house was finished on the third day of the month Adar, which was in the sixth year of the reign of Darius the king.
6:16
以色列人、祭司、利未人、並其餘被擄歸回的人都歡歡喜喜的行奉獻神這殿的禮。
And the children of Israel, the priests, and the Levites, and the rest of the children of the captivity, celebrated the dedication of this house of God with joy.
6:17
他們行奉獻神這殿的禮，獻公牛一百隻、公綿羊二百隻、綿羊羔四百隻，又照以色列支派的數目獻公山羊十二隻，為以色列眾人作贖罪祭；
And they offered for the dedication of this house of God one hundred bulls, two hundred rams, four hundred lambs, and for a sin offering for all Israel, twelve male goats according to the number of the tribes of Israel.
6:18
且派立祭司按著組別，利未人按著班次，在耶路撒冷事奉神，是照摩西書上所寫的。
And they set the priests in their courses and the Levites in their divisions for the service of God, which is in Jerusalem, as it is written in the book of Moses.
6:19
正月十四日，被擄歸回的人守逾越節。
And the children of the captivity held the Passover on the fourteenth day of the first month.
6:20
原來，祭司和利未人一同自潔，全都潔淨了。利未人為被擄歸回的眾人和他們的弟兄眾祭司，並為自己宰逾越節的羊羔。
For the priests and the Levites had purified themselves together; all of them were pure. Then they slaughtered the passover for all the children of the captivity and for their brothers the priests and for themselves.
6:21
被擄歸回的以色列人，和一切從那地外邦人的汙穢中把自己分別出來，歸附他們，要尋求耶和華以色列神的人，都吃這羊羔，
And the children of Israel who returned from the captivity and all who had separated themselves from the defilement of the nations of the land to join them, to seek Jehovah the God of Israel, ate the passover
6:22
歡歡喜喜的守除酵節七日；因為耶和華使他們歡喜，又使亞述王的心轉向他們，堅固他們的手，作以色列神殿的工程。
And held the Feast of Unleavened Bread seven days with joy; for Jehovah had made them joyful and had turned the heart of the king of Assyria to them, to strengthen their hands in the work of the house of God, the God of Israel.

使徒行傳 Acts 15：1-34
15:1
有幾個人從猶太下來，教訓弟兄們說，你們若不按摩西的規例受割禮，就不能得救。
And certain men came down from Judea and began to teach the brothers, Unless you are circumcised according to the custom of Moses, you cannot be saved.
15:2
保羅、巴拿巴與他們起了不小的爭執和辯論，眾人就指派保羅、巴拿巴、和他們其中的幾個人，為所辯論的，上耶路撒冷去見使徒和長老。
And when no little dissension and discussion with them came about through Paul and Barnabas, the brothers directed Paul and Barnabas and certain others among them to go up to the apostles and elders in Jerusalem concerning this question.
15:3
於是召會送他們起行，他們經過腓尼基、撒瑪利亞，詳述外邦人轉向神的事，叫眾弟兄都甚喜樂。
They therefore, having been sent forward by the church, passed through both Phoenicia and Samaria, telling in detail about the turning of the Gentiles; and they brought great joy to all the brothers.
15:4
到了耶路撒冷，召會和使徒並長老都接待他們，他們就述說神同他們所行的一切事。
And when they arrived in Jerusalem, they were received by the church and the apostles and the elders, and they declared the things that God had done with them.
15:5
惟有幾個信徒原是法利賽派的人，起來說，必須給外邦人行割禮，囑咐他們遵守摩西的律法。
But certain men from the sect of the Pharisees who had believed rose up from among them, saying, It is necessary to circumcise them and to charge them to keep the law of Moses.
15:6
使徒和長老聚集商議這事。
And the apostles and the elders were gathered together to see about this matter.
15:7
辯論已經多了，彼得就起來，對他們說，諸位，弟兄們，你們知道神早已在你們中間揀選了我，叫外邦人從我口中得聽福音的話，而且信了。
And when much discussion had taken place, Peter rose up and said to them, Men, brothers, you know that from the early days God chose from among you that through my mouth the Gentiles should hear the word of the gospel and believe.
15:8
知道人心的神，也為他們作了見證，賜聖靈給他們，正如給我們一樣；
And God, the Knower of hearts, bore witness to them, giving them the Holy Spirit even as also to us;
15:9
又藉著信潔淨了他們的心，並不分他們我們。
And He made no distinction between us and them, cleansing their hearts by faith.
15:10
既然如此，現在你們為甚麼試探神，要把我們祖宗和我們所不能負的軛，放在門徒的頸項上？
Therefore why are you now testing God by placing a yoke upon the neck of the disciples which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?
15:11
我們信，我們得救乃是藉著主耶穌的恩，和他們一樣。
But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus we are saved in the same way also as they are.
15:12
大家都靜默下來，聽巴拿巴和保羅述說神藉著他們在外邦人中所行的一切神蹟奇事。
And all the multitude became silent, and they listened to Barnabas and Paul relating all the signs and wonders God had done among the Gentiles through them.
15:13
他們住了聲，雅各就說，諸位，弟兄們，請聽我說。
And when they finished speaking, James answered, saying, Men, brothers, listen to me.
15:14
方才西門述說神當初怎樣眷顧外邦人，從他們中間選取百姓歸於自己的名。
Simeon has related how God first visited the Gentiles to take out from them a people for His name.
15:15
眾申言者的話也與此相合，
And with this the words of the prophets agree, even as it is written,
15:16
正如經上所寫的，“此後我要回來，重新建造大衛倒塌的帳幕，我要重建它的頹墟，把它再立起來，
"After these things I will return, and I will rebuild the tabernacle of David which has fallen; and I will rebuild its ruins and erect it again,
15:17
叫餘剩的人，就是一切稱為我名下的外邦人，都尋求主，
So that the remainder of men may seek out the Lord, even all the Gentiles upon whom My name has been called,
15:18
這話是從時間起首顯明這事的主說的。”
Says the Lord, who is making these things known from of old.''
15:19
所以我判斷，不可難為那轉向神的外邦人。
Therefore I judge that we do not harass those from the Gentiles who are turning to God,
15:20
只要寫信，叫他們禁戒偶像的污穢和淫亂，並勒死的牲畜和血。
But that we write to them to abstain from the contaminations of idols and fornication and what is strangled and blood.
15:21
因為自古以來，摩西的書在各城有人傳講，每逢安息日，在會堂裏誦讀。
For Moses from ancient generations has in every city those who proclaim him in the synagogues, he being read every Sabbath.
15:22
那時，使徒和長老同全召會，都認為該從他們中間揀選人，差他們和保羅、巴拿巴同往安提阿去，所揀選的就是稱呼巴撒巴的猶大和西拉，這兩個人在弟兄中是領頭的。
It then seemed good to the apostles and the elders with the whole church to choose men from among them to send to Antioch together with Paul and Barnabas: Judas, who is called Barsabbas, and Silas, leading men among the brothers,
15:23
於是寫信，經他們的手帶去，信上說，使徒和長老弟兄們，向安提阿、敘利亞、和基利家遍處的外邦弟兄們問安。
Writing to them and sending by their hand the following: The apostles and the elder brothers, to the brothers throughout Antioch and Syria and Cilicia who are of the Gentiles, rejoice.
15:24
我們聽說有幾個人，從我們這裏出去，用言語攪擾你們，惑亂你們的心；其實我們並沒有囑咐他們。
Since we have heard that certain ones who went out from among us have troubled you with their words, unsettling your souls, to whom we gave no instruction,
15:25
所以我們同心合意，認為該揀選幾個人，差他們同我們親愛的巴拿巴和保羅，往你們那裏去。
It seemed good to us, having become of one accord, to choose men to send to you together with our beloved Barnabas and Paul,
15:26
這二人是為我們主耶穌基督的名，不顧性命的。
Men who have risked their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
15:27
我們就差了猶大和西拉，他們也要親口報告同樣的事。
Therefore we have sent Judas and Silas, who themselves will report the same things by word of mouth.
15:28
因為聖靈和我們，認為不該將更多的重擔放在你們身上，惟有幾件事是不可少的，
For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things:
15:29
就是禁戒祭偶像之物和血，並勒死的牲畜和淫亂，這幾件你們自己若能禁戒不犯，那就好了。願你們康壯。
To abstain from things that have been sacrificed to idols and blood and things strangled and fornication, from which if you carefully keep yourselves, you will do well. May you be strong.
15:30
他們既受差遣，就下安提阿去，聚集眾人，交付書信。
So when they had been sent away, they went down to Antioch; and when they had gathered the multitude together, they handed them the letter.
15:31
眾人念了，因得鼓勵，就喜樂了。
And when they read it, they rejoiced at the encouragement.
15:32
猶大和西拉也是申言者，就用許多話鼓勵並堅固弟兄們。
And Judas and Silas, also being prophets themselves, exhorted the brothers through much speaking and confirmed them.
15:33
過了一些時候，弟兄們打發他們平平安安的回到差遣他們的人那裏去。
And when they had spent some time there, they were sent away with peace from the brothers to those who had sent them.
15:34
惟有西拉認為該住在那裏。
But it seemed good to Silas to remain there.
