36:1
希西家王十四年，亞述王西拿基立上來攻擊猶大的一切堅固城，將那些城攻取了。
In the fourteenth year of King Heze kiah, Sennacherib the king of Assyria went up against all the fortified cities of Judah and took them.
36:2
亞述王從拉吉差遣軍長率領大軍往耶路撒冷，到希西家王那裏去。他站在上池的引水道旁，在通往漂布地的大路上。
And the king of Assyria sent Rab- shakeh from Lachish to Jerusalem to King Hezekiah with a great force. And he stood at the conduit of the upper pool, on the road to the Fuller's Field.
36:3
於是希勒家的兒子家宰以利亞敬、書記舍伯那、和亞薩的兒子記事官約亞，出來見軍長。
Then Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, who was over the household, and Shebna the scribe and Joah the son of Asaph, the recorder, came out to him.
36:4
軍長對他們說，你們去告訴希西家，亞述大王如此說，你所倚靠的有甚麼可仗賴的呢？
And Rab-shakeh said to them, Say now to Hezekiah, Thus says the great king, the king of Assyria, What is this confidence in which you trust?
36:5
你說有打仗的計謀和能力，我說，不過是虛言。你到底倚靠誰纔背叛我呢？
I say, It is but a vain word that you say, There is counsel and strength for war. Now in whom do you trust, that you rebel against me?
36:6
看哪，你倚靠埃及，乃是倚靠壓傷的葦杖，人若靠這杖，這杖必刺透他的手；埃及王法老向一切倚靠他的人正是這樣。
You now have put your trust in the staff of this broken reed, in Egypt, which, if a man should lean on it, will go into his hand and pierce it, for so is Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, to all who trust in him.
36:7
你若對我說，我們信靠耶和華我們的神；希西家豈不是曾將這位神的邱壇和祭壇廢去，且對猶大和耶路撒冷的人說，你們當在這壇前敬拜麼？
And if you say to me, We trust in Jehovah our God; is it not He whose high places and altars Hezekiah has taken away and has said to Judah and Jerusalem, You shall worship only before this altar?
36:8
現在你把抵押給我主亞述王，我就給你二千匹馬，看你能不能派出足彀騎馬的人。
Now therefore give pledges to my master, the king of Assyria, and I will give you two thousand horses, if indeed you are able to set riders on them.
36:9
若不然，你怎能拒絕我主臣僕中一位最小的官長呢？你竟倚靠埃及供應你戰車馬兵麼？
How then can you refuse one official of the least of my master's servants and put your trust in Egypt for chariots and horsemen?
36:10
現在我上來攻擊毀滅這地，豈沒有耶和華的意思麼？耶和華對我說，你上去攻擊毀滅這地罷。
And have I now come up apart from Jehovah against this land to destroy it? Jehovah said to me, Go up against this land and destroy it.
36:11
以利亞敬、舍伯那和約亞對軍長說，求你用亞蘭語和僕人說話，因為我們懂得；不要用猶大語和我們說話，免得達到城牆上百姓的耳中。
And Eliakim and Shebna and Joah said to Rab-shakeh, Please speak to your servants in Aramaic, because we understand it; and do not speak to us in the Jews' language, in the ears of the people upon the wall.
36:12
軍長說，我主差遣我來，豈是單對你的主和你說這些話麼？不也是對這些坐在城牆上，要與你們一同喫自己糞、喝自己尿的人說麼？
But Rab-shakeh said, Has my master sent me only to your master and to you to speak these words, and not to the men who sit on the wall, that they may eat their own dung and drink their own urine with you?
36:13
於是軍長站著，用猶大語大聲喊著說，你們當聽亞述大王的話。
Then Rab-shakeh stood and cried out with a loud voice in the Jews' language, and said, Listen to the words of the great king, the king of Assyria:
36:14
王如此說，你們不要被希西家欺哄了，因他不能拯救你們；
Thus says the king, Do not let Hezekiah deceive you, because he is not able to deliver you;
36:15
也不要讓希西家使你們信靠耶和華，說，耶和華必拯救我們，這城必不交在亞述王的手中。
Neither let Hezekiah cause you to trust in Jehovah, saying, Jehovah will surely deliver us, and this city will not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.
36:16
不要聽希西家的話，因亞述王如此說，你們要與我和好，出來向我投降；各人就可以喫自己葡萄樹和無花果樹的果子，喝自己井裏的水；
Do not listen to Hezekiah; for thus says the king of Assyria, Make your peace with me, and come out to me, and let each eat from his own vine and each from his own fig tree, and let each drink the waters of his own cistern;
36:17
等我來領你們到一地，與你們本地一樣，就是有五穀和新酒之地，有糧食和葡萄園之地。
Until I come and take you away to a land like your land, a land of grain and new wine, a land of bread and vineyards.
36:18
你們要謹防，恐怕希西家勸導你們說，耶和華必拯救我們。列國的神有那一個曾救自己的地脫離亞述王的手呢？
Be careful lest Hezekiah persuade you, saying, Jehovah will deliver us. Have any of the gods of the nations delivered their land out of the hand of the king of Assyria?
36:19
哈馬、亞珥拔的神在那裏？西法瓦音的神在那裏？他們曾救撒瑪利亞脫離我的手麼？
Where are the gods of Hamath and Arpad? Where are the gods of Sepharvaim? And have they delivered Samaria out of my hand?
36:20
這些地所有的神中，有誰曾救自己的地脫離我的手呢？難道耶和華能救耶路撒冷脫離我的手麼？
Who among all the gods of these lands have delivered their land out of my hand, that Jehovah should deliver Jerusalem out of my hand?
36:21
百姓靜默不言，並不回答一句，因為王曾吩咐說，不要回答他。
But they were silent and did not answer him a word, because of the commandment of the king that said, You shall not answer him.
36:22
當下，希勒家的兒子家宰以利亞敬、書記舍伯那、並亞薩的兒子記事官約亞，都撕裂衣服，來到希西家那裏，將軍長的話告訴了他。
Then Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, who was over the household, and Shebna the scribe and Joah the son of Asaph, the recorder, came to Hezekiah with their clothes torn and told him the words of Rab-shakeh.
37:1
希西家王聽見，就撕裂衣服，披上麻布，進了耶和華的殿。
And when King Hezekiah heard, he tore his clothes, and covered himself with sackcloth and went into the house of Jehovah.
37:2
他打發家宰以利亞敬、書記舍伯那、和祭司中的長老，都披上麻布，去見亞摩斯的兒子申言者以賽亞，
And he sent Eliakim, who was over the household, and Shebna the scribe and the elders of the priests, who had covered themselves in sackcloth, to Isaiah the son of Amoz, the prophet.
37:3
對他說，希西家如此說，今日是急難、責罰、淩辱的日子，就如孩子臨產，婦人卻沒有力量生產。
And they said to him, Thus says Hezekiah, This day is a day of affliction, rebuke, and contempt, for children have come to the point of birth, and there is no strength to bring them forth.
37:4
或者耶和華你的神聽見軍長的話，就是他主人亞述王打發他來辱駡活神的話，耶和華你的神聽了，就斥責這些話。故此，求你為餘剩的民揚聲禱告。
It may be that Jehovah your God will hear the words of Rab-shakeh, whom his master the king of Assyria sent to reproach the living God, and will reprove the words which Jehovah your God has heard. Therefore lift up a prayer for the remnant which is left.
37:5
希西家王的臣僕就去見以賽亞。
So the servants of King Hezekiah came to Isaiah.
37:6
以賽亞對他們說，要這樣對你們的主人說，耶和華如此說，你聽見亞述王的僕人褻瀆我的話，不要懼怕。
And Isaiah said to them, Thus you shall say to your master, Thus says Jehovah, Do not be afraid of the words which you have heard, with which the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed Me.
37:7
看哪，我必使一靈進入他裏面，他要聽見風聲就歸回本地。我必使他在那裏倒在刀下。
Indeed I will put a spirit in him, so that he will hear a report and return to his land. And I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land.
37:8
軍長回去，正遇見亞述王攻打立拿；原來他早聽見亞述王拔營離開拉吉。
And Rab-shakeh returned and found the king of Assyria fighting against Libnah, because he had heard that the king had departed from Lachish.
37:9
亞述王聽見人論古實王特哈加說，他出來要與你爭戰。亞述王一聽見，就打發使者去見希西家，吩咐他們說，
And he heard a report about Tirhakah the king of Ethiopia which said, He has come forth to make war with you. And when he heard it, he sent messengers to Hezekiah, saying,
37:10
你們對猶大王希西家如此說，不要讓你所信靠的神欺哄你，說，耶路撒冷必不交在亞述王的手中。
In this way you shall speak to Hezekiah the king of Judah, saying, Do not let your God in whom you trust deceive you, saying, Jerusalem will not be delivered into the hand of the king of Assyria.
37:11
你總聽說亞述諸王向各地所行的，乃是盡行毀滅，難道你還能得拯救麼？
Indeed you have heard what the kings of Assyria have done to all the lands, destroying them utterly. And will you be delivered?
37:12
我列祖所毀滅的，就是歌散、哈蘭、利色、和在提拉撒的伊甸人，這些國的神何曾拯救這些國呢？
Have the gods of the nations, whom my fathers destroyed, delivered them: Gozan and Haran and Rezeph and the children of Eden, who were in Telassar?
37:13
哈馬的王和亞珥拔的王，西法瓦音城、希拿和以瓦的王都在那裏呢？
Where are the king of Hamath and the king of Arpad and the king of the city of Sepharvaim, of Hena and Ivvah?
37:14
希西家從使者手裏接過書信來，念完了，就上耶和華的殿，將書信展開在耶和華面前。
And Hezekiah took the letter from the hand of the messengers and read it, and Hezekiah went up to the house of Jehovah and spread it before Jehovah.
37:15
希西家向耶和華禱告，說，
And Hezekiah prayed to Jehovah, saying,
37:16
坐在二基路伯中間萬軍之耶和華以色列的神阿，惟獨你是地上萬國的神，你曾創造諸天與地。
O Jehovah of hosts, God of Israel, who dwells between the cherubim, You, You alone are God of all the kingdoms of the earth; You made the heavens and the earth.
37:17
耶和華阿，求你側耳而聽；耶和華阿，求你睜眼而看；要聽西拿基立打發使者來辱駡活神的一切話。
Incline Your ear, O Jehovah, and hear; open Your eyes, O Jehovah, and see; and listen to all the words of Sennacherib, who has sent messengers to reproach the living God.
37:18
耶和華阿，亞述諸王果真使列國和列國之地變為荒涼，
Truly, O Jehovah, the kings of Assyria have laid waste all the countries and their land,
37:19
將列國的神像都扔在火裏，因為它們本不是神，乃是人手所造的，是木頭和石頭的，所以被滅絕。
And have cast their gods into the fire, because they were not gods, but the work of men's hands, wood and stone; so they destroyed them.
37:20
耶和華我們的神阿，現在求你救我們脫離亞述王的手，使地上萬國都知道，惟獨你是耶和華。
And now, O Jehovah our God, save us from his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that You alone are Jehovah.
37:21
亞摩斯的兒子以賽亞，就打發人去見希西家，說，耶和華以色列的神如此說，你既向我禱告亞述王西拿基立的事，
Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent a message to Hezekiah, saying, Thus says Jehovah the God of Israel, Because you have prayed to Me concerning Sennacherib the king of Assyria,
37:22
所以耶和華論他這樣說，錫安的處女藐視你，嗤笑你；耶路撒冷的女子在你背後搖頭。
This is the word which Jehovah has spoken concerning him: The virgin daughter of Zion Has despised you and laughed at you; The daughter of Jerusalem Has shaken her head behind you.
37:23
你辱駡誰？褻瀆誰？你揚起聲來，高舉眼目攻擊誰呢？乃是攻擊以色列的聖者。
Whom have you reproached and reviled? Against whom have you lifted up your voice And lifted up your eyes haughtily? Against the Holy One of Israel.
37:24
你藉你的臣僕辱駡主，你說，我率領許多戰車上了山嶺的高處，到了利巴嫩極深之處；我要砍伐其中高大的香柏樹，和佳美的松樹；我必進到其中極遠的高處，和其中茂密的樹林。
By your servants you have reproached the Lord, And you have said, In the multitude of my chariots, I have come up to the heights of the mountains, To the sides of Lebanon. And I will cut down its tall cedars, And the choicest of its cypresses: I will enter into its farthest height And its luxuriant forest.
37:25
我已經挖井喝水；我必用腳掌踏乾埃及一切的河。
I have dug; I have drunk water; With the sole of my foot I have dried up All the rivers of Egypt.
37:26
耶和華說，我早先所作的，古時所定的，你豈沒有聽見麼？現在我將它實現，就是藉你使堅固城荒廢，變為亂堆。
Have you not heard That long ago I did it; And from the days of old I had formed it? Now I have brought it to pass, That you should destroy fortified cities, And make them into ruinous heaps.
37:27
所以其中的居民力量短缺，驚惶羞愧；他們像田間的菜蔬和嫩草的青苗，如長在房頂上的草，未長成就被曬枯。
Therefore their inhabitants were short of strength; They were dismayed and felt ashamed; And they were like vegetation of the field And green shoots of tender grass, Like grass which grows on the housetops And is scorched before it has grown up.
37:28
你坐下，你出去，你進來，你向我發烈怒，我都知道。
But I know your sitting down, And your going out and your coming in, And your raging against Me.
37:29
因你向我發烈怒，又因你狂傲的話上達我的耳中，我必用鉤子鉤住你的鼻子，把嚼環放在你的嘴裏，使你從原路轉回去。
Because your raging against Me And your arrogance has come up into My ears, I will put My hook in your nose And My bridle in your lips, And turn you back on the way by which you came.
37:30
希西家阿，這是給你的兆頭：你們今年要喫遺落自生的，明年也要喫遺落自長的；至於後年，你們要撒種收割，栽植葡萄園，喫其中的果子。
This shall be the sign to you: This year you shall eat that which grows up of itself, and the second year that which shoots up from the same, and in the third year sow and reap and plant vineyards and eat their fruit.
37:31
猶大家所逃脫餘剩的，仍要往下扎根，向上結果。
And the remnant of those who have escaped of the house of Judah will again take root downward and bear fruit upward.
37:32
必有餘剩的民從耶路撒冷而出，必有逃脫的人從錫安山而來。萬軍之耶和華的熱心必成就這事。
For a remnant will go forth out of Jerusalem, and from Mount Zion those who have escaped. The zeal of Jehovah of hosts will perform this.
37:33
所以，耶和華論亞述王如此說，他必不得來到這城，也不在這裏射箭；不得拿盾牌到城前，也不築壘攻城。
Therefore, thus says Jehovah concerning the king of Assyria, He shall not come to this city, Nor shoot an arrow there; Neither shall he come against it with shields, And build up a mound against it.
37:34
他從那條路來，必從那條路回去，必不得進入這城；這是耶和華說的。
By the way on which he came, By the same shall he return, And into this city he shall not come, Declares Jehovah.
37:35
我為自己的緣故，又為我僕人大衛的緣故，必保護拯救這城。
And around this city I will put an enclosure To save it, For My own sake And for the sake of David, My servant.
37:36
耶和華的使者出去，在亞述營中殺了十八萬五千人；清早有人起來一看，都是死屍了。
Then the angel of Jehovah went out and struck the Assyrians' camp, a hundred and eighty-five thousand; and when they arose early in the morning, all of them were dead corpses.
37:37
亞述王西拿基立就拔營回去，住在尼尼微。
Then Sennacherib the king of Assyria departed and went back to dwell in Nineveh.
37:38
一日在他的神尼斯洛廟裏叩拜，他兒子亞得米勒和沙利色用刀殺了他，就逃到阿拉臘地。他兒子以撒哈頓接續他作王。
And when he was worshipping in the house of his god Nisroch, Adrammelech and Sharezer his sons slew him with the sword; and they escaped to the land of Ararat. And Esar-haddon his son reigned in his place.
38:1
那些日子，希西家病得要死；亞摩斯的兒子申言者以賽亞去見他，對他說，耶和華如此說，你當留遺命給你的家，因為你將要死，不能活了。
In those days Hezekiah became mortally ill; and Isaiah the son of Amoz, the prophet, came to him and said to him, Thus says Jehovah, Put your house in order, for you are about to die and will not live.
38:2
希西家就轉臉朝牆，禱告耶和華，
And Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to Jehovah,
38:3
說，耶和華阿，求你記念我在你面前怎樣按真實，並存完全的心行事，又作了你眼中所看為善的。希西家就痛哭了。
And said, Now, O Jehovah, please remember how I have walked before You in truth and with a perfect heart and have done that which is good in Your sight. And Hezekiah wept many tears.
38:4
耶和華的話臨到以賽亞，說，
Then the word of Jehovah came to Isaiah, saying,
38:5
你去告訴希西家，耶和華你祖大衛的神如此說，我聽見了你的禱告，看見了你的眼淚；看哪，我必加增你十五年的壽數。
Go and speak to Hezekiah, Thus says Jehovah, the God of David your father, I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; I will now add to your life fifteen years.
38:6
並且我要救你和這城脫離亞述王的手，也要保護這城。
And I will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria, and I will put an enclosure around this city.
38:7
耶和華必成就祂所說的事。這是祂給你的兆頭：
And this will be the sign from Jehovah to you, that Jehovah will do this thing which He has spoken.
38:8
看哪，我必使亞哈斯臺階上那已經隨日頭下落的日影往後退十級。於是那落在臺階上的日影果然往後退了十級。
Behold, I will cause the shadow on the steps, which has gone down with the sun on the steps of Ahaz, to go back ten steps. So the sun's shadow went back ten steps on the steps on which it had gone down.
38:9
猶大王希西家患病痊癒以後，就寫了這詩：
The writing of Hezekiah the king of Judah when he had been sick and had recovered from his sickness:
38:10
我說，正在我盛年之日，我就要進入陰間的門；我餘剩的年歲已被奪去。
I said, In the middle of my days, I will go into the gates of Sheol; I have been deprived of the rest of my years.
38:11
我說，我必不得見耶和華，就是不得在活人之地見耶和華；我要與住在萬事休止之處的人同在，不得再見活人。
I said, I will not see Jah, Jah in the land of the living; I will not look on man any longer, While I am with those who dwell where everything has ceased.
38:12
我的住處已被拔起離開我，好像牧人的帳棚一樣。我已將性命捲起，像織布的捲布一樣；耶和華必將我從織布機頭剪斷；無論晝夜，你要使我終結。
Like a shepherd's tent, My dwelling has been pulled up and removed from me. Like a weaver, I have rolled up my life. He will cut me off from the loom; From day until night You make an end of me.
38:13
我使自己安靜直到天亮；祂像獅子折斷我一切的骨頭；無論晝夜，你要使我終結。
I have stilled myself until the morning; Like a lion, so He breaks all my bones; From day until night You make an end of me.
38:14
我像燕子呢喃，像白鶴鳴叫；又像鴿子哀鳴；我因仰望高處，眼睛困倦；主阿，我受欺壓，求你為我作保。
Like a swallow and a crane, so I twitter; Like a dove, I mourn; My eyes look languishingly above; O Lord, I am oppressed; be my surety.
38:15
我可說甚麼呢？祂應許了我，也親自作成了；我因魂裏的苦楚，在一生的年日，必謹慎而行。
What shall I say? He has both spoken to me, And He Himself has done it; I will walk deliberately all my years, Because of the bitterness of my soul.
38:16
主阿，人活著乃靠這些；我靈活著也全在於這些；所以求你使我痊癒，讓我存活。
O Lord, upon all these things men live; And in all of these things is the life of my spirit; Therefore may You restore my strength And make me live.
38:17
看哪，我受大苦，本為使我得平安；你因愛拯救了我的魂脫離毀滅的坑，因為你已將我一切的罪扔在你的背後。
Indeed for peace I had bitterness, yes, bitterness; But You have lovingly delivered my soul from the pit of destruction, Because You have cast behind Your back All my sins.
38:18
原來陰間不能稱謝你，死亡不能讚美你；下坑的人不能盼望你的真實。
For Sheol cannot thank You, And Death cannot praise You; They that go down to the pit Cannot hope in Your truth.
38:19
只有活人，活人必稱謝你，像我今日稱謝你一樣；為父的必使兒女知道你的真實。
The living, the living, he will praise You, As I do today; A father shall make known Your truth to his children.
38:20
耶和華肯救我，所以我們要一生一世在耶和華殿中，用絲弦的樂器彈奏我的詩歌。
Jehovah is ready to save me; Therefore we will sing my songs, With stringed instruments, All the days of our life, In the house of Jehovah.
38:21
以賽亞曾說，當取一塊無花果餅來，敷在瘡上，王必得活。
Then Isaiah said, Let them take a cake of figs and rub it upon the boil, and he will live.
38:22
希西家也曾說，我能上耶和華的殿，有甚麼兆頭呢？
Hezekiah had also said, What is the sign that I shall go up to the house of Jehovah?

歌羅西書Colossians 1:1-14
1:1
憑神旨意，作基督耶穌使徒的保羅，和弟兄提摩太，
Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus through the will of God, and Timothy the brother,
1:2
寫信給在歌羅西的聖徒，就是在基督裏忠信的弟兄：願恩典與平安，從神我們的父歸與你們。
To the saints in Colossae and faithful brothers in Christ: Grace to you and peace from God our Father.
1:3
我們感謝神，我們主耶穌基督的父，常常為你們禱告，
We give thanks to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always concerning you,
1:4
因聽見你們對基督耶穌的信，並對眾聖徒的愛，
Because we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and the love which you have unto all the saints
1:5
是因那給你們存在諸天之上的盼望，就是你們從前在福音真理的話上所聽見的；
Because of the hope laid up for you in the heavens, of which you heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel,
1:6
這福音傳到你們那裏，也傳到全世界，一直結果增長，正如在你們中間，自從你們聽見，並在真實中認識神恩典的日子一樣；
Which has come to you, even as it is also in all the world, bearing fruit and growing, as also in you, since the day you heard and knew the grace of God in truth;
1:7
正如你們從我們所親愛，一同作奴僕的以巴弗所學的，他為你們作了基督忠信的執事，
Even as you learned from Epaphras, our beloved fellow slave, who is a faithful minister of Christ on your behalf,
1:8
也把你們在那靈裏的愛告訴了我們。
Who also has made known to us your love in the Spirit.
1:9
所以，我們自從聽見的日子，也就為你們不住的禱告祈求，願你們在一切屬靈的智慧和悟性上，充分認識神的旨意，
Therefore we also, since the day we heard of it, do not cease praying and asking on your behalf that you may be filled with the full knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,
1:10
行事為人配得過主，以致凡事蒙祂喜悅，在一切善工上結果子，藉著認識神而長大，
To walk worthily of the Lord to please Him in all things, bearing fruit in every good work and growing by the full knowledge of God,
1:11
照祂榮耀的權能，得以在各樣的力上加力，使你們凡事歡歡喜喜的忍耐寬容，
Being empowered with all power, according to the might of His glory, unto all endurance and long-suffering with joy,
1:12
感謝父，叫你們彀資格在光中同得所分給眾聖徒的分；
Giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you for a share of the allotted portion of the saints in the light;
1:13
祂拯救了我們脫離黑暗的權勢，把我們遷入祂愛子的國裏；
Who delivered us out of the authority of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,
1:14
我們在愛子裏得蒙救贖，就是罪得赦免。
In whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins;
