耶利米書 Jeremiah 39：1-18
39:1
耶路撒冷被攻取的時候，(猶大王西底家第九年十月，巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒率領全軍來到耶路撒冷，將城圍困；
And when Jerusalem was captured (in the ninth year of Zedekiah the king of Judah, in the tenth month, Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon and his whole army came to Jerusalem and besieged it;
39:2
西底家十一年四月初九日，城被攻破，)
In the eleventh year of Zedekiah, in the fourth month, the ninth day of the month, a breach was made in the city),
39:3
巴比倫王的眾首領，就是尼甲沙利薛、三甲尼波、太監長撒西金、總管星象家的尼甲沙利薛、並巴比倫王所有其餘的首領，都來坐在中門。
All the princes of the king of Babylon came and sat down in the middle gate: Nergal-sharezer, Samgar-nebu, Sar-sechim the chief of the eunuchs, Nergal-sharezer the chief of the magi, and all the rest of the princes of the king of Babylon.
39:4
猶大王西底家和一切兵丁看見他們，就在夜間從王園的路，兩城牆之間的門，出城逃跑，他沿著通往亞拉巴的路出去。
And when Zedekiah the king of Judah and all the men of war saw them, they fled and went out from the city by night by way of the king's garden through the gate between the two walls; and he went out by the way toward the Arabah.
39:5
迦勒底人的軍隊追趕他們，在耶利哥的平原追上西底家，將他拿住，帶到哈馬地的利比拉，巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒那裏；尼布甲尼撒就審判他。
And the army of the Chaldeans pursued after them, and they overtook Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho; and when they had taken him, they brought him up to Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon at Riblah in the land of Hamath, and he pronounced judgments on him.
39:6
巴比倫王在利比拉，西底家眼前殺了他的眾子，又殺了猶大的一切貴胄。
Then the king of Babylon slaughtered the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes at Riblah; the king of Babylon also slaughtered all the nobles of Judah.
39:7
並且剜了西底家的眼睛，用銅鍊鎖著他，帶到巴比倫去。
And he put out Zedekiah's eyes and bound him with bronze fetters to bring him to Babylon.
39:8
迦勒底人用火焚燒王宮和百姓的房屋，又拆毀耶路撒冷的城牆。
And the Chaldeans burned the king's house and the houses of the people with fire and broke down the walls of Jerusalem.
39:9
那時護衛長尼布撒拉旦，將城裏余剩的百姓，並投降他的人，以及其餘的民，都遷徙到巴比倫去了。
And the rest of the people who remained in the city, both the deserters who deserted to him and the rest of the people who remained, Nebuzaradan the captain of the bodyguard carried away into exile to Babylon.
39:10
護衛長尼布撒拉旦卻將民中毫無所有的窮人留在猶大地，當時給他們葡萄園和田地。
But some of the poorest people who had nothing, Nebuzaradan the captain of the bodyguard left in the land of Judah and gave them vineyards and fields at that time.
39:11
巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒題到耶利米，囑咐護衛長尼布撒拉旦，說，
And Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon commanded concerning Jeremiah through Nebuzaradan the captain of the bodyguard, saying,
39:12
要領他去，好好的看待他，切不可害他。他對你怎麼說，你就向他怎麼行。
Take him and look after him, and do no evil to him, but deal with him just as he tells you.
39:13
於是護衛長尼布撒拉旦打發人，並且太監長尼布沙斯班、總管星象家的尼甲沙利薛、和巴比倫王的一切大臣，
So Nebuzaradan the captain of the bodyguard sent men, and Nebushazban the chief of the eunuchs and Nergal-sharezer the chief of the magi and all the chief officers of the king of Babylon
39:14
也打發人去，將耶利米從護衛兵院中提出來，交與沙番的孫子，亞希甘的兒子基大利，帶他回家去。耶利米就住在民中。
Also sent men and took Jeremiah from the court of the guard and gave him to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, to take him home. And he dwelt among the people.
39:15
耶利米還囚在護衛兵院中的時候，耶和華的話臨到他，說，
Now the word of Jehovah had come to Jeremiah when he was shut up in the court of the guard, saying,
39:16
你去告訴古實人以伯米勒說，萬軍之耶和華以色列的神如此說，我必使我所說降禍不降福的話臨到這城；到那日，這些話必在你面前成就了。
Go and speak to Ebed-melech the Cushite, saying, Thus says Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, I am about to bring My words against this city for evil and not for good; and they will come to pass before you on that day.
39:17
耶和華說，但到那日我必拯救你；你必不至交在你所怕的人手中。
But I will deliver you on that day, declares Jehovah, and you will not be given into the hand of the men of whom you are afraid.
39:18
我必定搭救你；你必不至倒在刀下，卻要掠得自己的性命，因你信靠了我；這是耶和華說的。
For I will surely save you, and you will not fall by the sword, but you will have your own life as spoil, because you have put your trust in Me, declares Jehovah.
新約New Testament：
希伯來書 Hebrews 1：1-14
1:1
神既在古時，藉著眾申言者，多分多方向列祖說話，
God, having spoken of old in many portions and in many ways to the fathers in the prophets,
1:2
就在這末後的日子，在子裏向我們說話；神已立祂作承受萬有者，也曾藉著祂造了宇宙；
Has at the last of these days spoken to us in the Son, whom He appointed Heir of all things, through whom also He made the universe;
1:3
祂是神榮耀的光輝，是神本質的印像，用祂大能的話維持、載著並推動萬有；祂成就了洗罪的事，就坐在高處至尊至大者的右邊；
Who, being the effulgence of His glory and the impress of His substance and upholding and bearing all things by the word of His power, having made purification of sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
1:4
祂所承受的名，既比天使的名更超特，祂就比天使更美。
Having become as much better than the angels as to have inherited a more distinguished name than they.
1:5
神曾對那一個天使說過，“你是我的兒子，我今日生了你？”又說，“我要作祂的父，祂要作我的兒子？”
For to which of the angels has He ever said, "You are My Son; this day have I begotten You''? And again, "I will be a Father to Him, and He will be a Son to Me''?
1:6
再者，神再帶長子到世上來的時候，就說，“神的眾使者都要拜祂。”
And when He brings again the Firstborn into the inhabited earth, He says, "And let all the angels of God worship Him.''
1:7
論到使者，祂說，“神使祂的使者為風，並使祂的僕役為火焰。”
And of the angels He says, "Who makes His angels winds and His ministers a flame of fire'';
1:8
論到子卻說，“神啊，你的寶座是永永遠遠的，你國的權杖是正直的權杖。
But of the Son, "Your throne, O God, is forever and ever, and the scepter of uprightness is the scepter of Your kingdom.
1:9
你愛公義，恨惡不法；所以神，就是你的神，用歡樂的油膏你，勝過膏你的同夥。”
You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; therefore God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of exultant joy above Your partners'';
1:10
又說，“主啊，你起初立了地的根基，諸天也是你手的工作；
And, "You in the beginning, Lord, laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the works of Your hands;
1:11
天地都要滅沒，你卻長存；一切都要像衣服漸漸舊了，
They will perish, but You remain perpetually; and they all will become old like a garment,
1:12
你要將天地像外衣一樣卷起來，天地就像衣服一樣改變了；惟有你仍是一樣，你的年數也沒有窮盡。”
And like a mantle You will roll them up; like a garment they will also be changed; but You are the same, and Your years will not fail.''
1:13
神曾對那一個天使說過，“你坐在我的右邊，等我使你的仇敵作你的腳凳？”
But to which of the angels has He ever said, "Sit at My right hand until I set Your enemies as a footstool for Your feet''?
1:14
天使豈不都是服役的靈，奉差遣為那些將要承受救恩的人效力麼？
Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth for service for the sake of those who are to inherit salvation?
