21:1b
他兒子約蘭接續他作王。
And Jehoram his son reigned in his place.
21:2
約蘭有幾個兄弟，就是約沙法的兒子亞撒利雅、耶歇、撒迦利雅、亞撒利雅、米迦勒、示法提雅；這些都是以色列王約沙法的兒子。
And he had brothers, the sons of Jehoshaphat: Azariah and Jehiel and Zechariah and Azariahu and Michael and Shephatiah; all these were the sons of Jehoshaphat the king of Israel.
21:3
他們的父親將許多禮物，就是金銀、寶物、和猶大的堅固城，賜給他們；但將國賜給約蘭，因為他是長子。
And their father gave them many gifts of silver and gold and precious things, along with fortified cities in Judah; but the kingdom he gave to Jehoram, for he was the firstborn.
21:4
約蘭興起治理他父親的國，奮勇自強，就用刀殺了他的眾兄弟和以色列的幾個首領。
And when Jehoram rose up over the kingdom of his father and strengthened himself, he slew all his brothers with the sword as well as the princes of Israel.
21:5
約蘭登基的時候年三十二歲，在耶路撒冷作王八年。
Jehoram was thirty-two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eight years in Jerusalem.
21:6
他行以色列諸王所行的道路，與亞哈家所作的一樣，因他娶了亞哈的女兒為妻，行耶和華眼中看為惡的事。
And he walked in the way of the kings of Israel and as the house of Ahab had done, for Ahab's daughter was his wife; and he did what was evil in the sight of Jehovah.
21:7
耶和華卻因自己與大衛所立的約，不肯滅大衛的家，並要照著自己所應許的，永遠賜燈光與大衛和他的子孫。
But Jehovah would not destroy the house of David, because of the covenant He had made with David and since He had promised him that He would provide a lamp for him and for his children always.
21:8
約蘭年間，以東人背叛，脫離了猶大的手下，自己立王。
In his days Edom revolted from under the hand of Judah, and they installed a king over themselves.
21:9
約蘭率領軍長和所有的戰車過去；他夜間起來，攻擊那些包圍他的以東人和車兵長。
So Jehoram crossed over with his captains and all his chariots with him. And he rose up at night and struck the Edomites all around him and the captains of the chariots.
21:10
這樣，以東人背叛，脫離了猶大的手下，直到今日。那時，立拿人也背叛，脫離了猶大的手下，因為約蘭離棄耶和華他列祖的神。
So Edom revolted from under the hand of Judah, as it is to this day. Then Libnah revolted at the same time from under his hand, for he had forsaken Jehovah, the God of his fathers.
21:11
他又在猶大山地建築邱壇，使耶路撒冷的居民行邪淫，引誘猶大人偏離正路。
He also made high places in the hill country of Judah and caused the inhabitants of Jerusalem to commit harlotries and led Judah astray.
21:12
申言者以利亞達信與約蘭，說，耶和華你祖大衛的神如此說，因為你不行你父親約沙法和猶大王亞撒所行的道路，
And a letter came to him from Elijah the prophet, saying, Thus says Jehovah, the God of David your father, Because you have not walked in the ways of Jehoshaphat your father and in the ways of Asa the king of Judah
21:13
乃行以色列諸王所行的道路，使猶大人和耶路撒冷的居民行邪淫，像亞哈家使百姓行邪淫一樣，又殺了你父家比你好的諸兄弟，
But have walked in the way of the kings of Israel and caused Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to commit harlotries, as the house of Ahab committed harlotries, and also have slain your brothers, those of your father's house, who were better than you,
21:14
看哪，耶和華要降大災殃擊打你的百姓、你的兒女和妻子、並你一切所有的。
Jehovah is now striking your people and your children and your wives and all your possessions with a great plague;
21:15
你的腸子必患病，日加沉重，以致你的腸子墜落下來。
And you yourself will be severely ill with a disease of your bowels, to the point that your bowels will come out day by day because of the illness.
21:16
以後，耶和華激動非利士人和靠近古實的亞拉伯人的靈，來攻擊約蘭。
And Jehovah stirred up the spirit of the Philistines and Arabians who are next to the Cushites against Jehoram.
21:17
他們上來攻擊猶大，侵入境內，擄掠了王宮裏所有的財物和他的兒女、妻子，除了他的小兒子約哈斯之外，沒有留下一個兒子。
And they came up against Judah and broke through into it and carried away all the possessions that were found in the king's house as well as his sons and his wives; and no son was left to him except Jehoahaz, the youngest of his sons.
21:18
這一切事以後，耶和華擊打約蘭，使他的腸子患不能醫治的病。
And after all this, Jehovah struck him in his bowels with the incurable illness.
21:19
過了一段時間，約有二年，他的腸子墜落下來，病重而死。他的民沒有為他燒甚麼物件，像從前為他列祖所燒的一樣。
And in the course of time, at the end of two years, his bowels came out because of the illness, and he died with severe illnesses. And his people did not make a burning for him, like the burning they had made for his fathers.
21:20
約蘭登基的時候年三十二歲，在耶路撒冷作王八年。他去世無人悼惜，人將他葬在大衛城，只是不在諸王的墳墓裏。
He was thirty-two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eight years in Jerusalem. And he departed with no one's regret; and they buried him in the city of David, but not in the tombs of the kings.
22:1
耶路撒冷的居民立約蘭的小兒子亞哈謝接續他作王，因為隨同亞拉伯人上來攻營的一隊軍兵，曾殺了亞哈謝的眾兄長；因此，猶大王約蘭的兒子亞哈謝作了王。
And the inhabitants of Jerusalem made Ahaziah, his youngest son, king in his place, for the band of men who had come up to the camp with the Arabians had slain all the older sons; so Ahaziah the son of Jehoram the king of Judah reigned.
22:2
亞哈謝登基的時候年二十二歲，在耶路撒冷作王一年；他母親名叫亞他利雅，是暗利的孫女。
Ahaziah was twenty-two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned one year in Jerusalem; and his mother's name was Athaliah, the daughter of Omri.
22:3
亞哈謝也行亞哈家所行的道路，因為他母親給他主謀，使他行惡。
He also walked in the ways of the house of Ahab, for his mother was his counselor in acting wickedly.
22:4
他行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，像亞哈家一樣；因他父親死後有亞哈家的人給他主謀，使他敗壞。
And he did what was evil in the sight of Jehovah, like the house of Ahab; for they were his counselors after the death of his father, to his own destruction.
22:5
他照亞哈家的計謀而行，同以色列王亞哈的兒子約蘭往基列的拉末去，與亞蘭王哈薛爭戰。亞蘭人打傷了約蘭，
He walked also in their counsel and went with Jehoram the son of Ahab the king of Israel to battle against Hazael the king of Syria at Ramoth-gilead. And the Syrians struck Joram,
22:6
約蘭回到耶斯列，醫治在拉末與亞蘭王哈薛打仗所受的傷。猶大王約蘭的兒子亞哈謝因為亞哈的兒子約蘭病了，就下到耶斯列看望他。
And he returned to heal in Jezreel because of the wounds that they had inflicted on him in Ramah when he fought with Hazael the king of Syria. And Ahaziah the son of Jehoram, the king of Judah, went down to see Jehoram the son of Ahab in Jezreel, for he was sick.
22:7
亞哈謝去見約蘭就被害了，這是出於神；因為他到了，就同約蘭出去攻擊甯示的孫子耶戶，這耶戶是耶和華所膏，使他剪除亞哈家的。
Now the downfall of Ahaziah was of God, because he went to Joram. And when he arrived, he went out with Jehoram against Jehu the son of Nimshi, whom Jehovah had anointed to cut off the house of Ahab.
22:8
耶戶討亞哈家罪的時候，遇見猶大的眾首領和亞哈謝的眾侄子服事亞哈謝，就把他們都殺了。
And when Jehu was executing judgment on the house of Ahab, he found the captains of Judah and the sons of Ahaziah's brothers serving Ahaziah; and he slew them.
22:9
哈謝藏在撒瑪利亞，耶戶尋找他，眾人將他拿住，送到耶戶那裏，就殺了他，將他葬埋；因他們說，他是那全心尋求耶和華之約沙法的兒子。這樣，亞哈謝的家無力保守國權。
And he sought for Ahaziah, and they caught him; for he had been hiding in Samaria. And they brought him to Jehu and killed him. And they buried him, for they said, He is the son of Jehoshaphat, who pursued Jehovah with all his heart. And the house of Ahaziah did not have the strength to retain the kingdom.

使徒行傳 Acts 9:1-30
9:1
掃羅仍然向主的門徒，口吐威嚇兇殺的話。他來到大祭司跟前，
But Saul, still breathing threatening and murder against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest
9:2
向他求文書給大馬色的各會堂，若是找著這道路上的人，無論男女，都可以捆綁帶到耶路撒冷。
And asked for letters from him to Damascus for the synagogues, so that if he found any who were of the Way, both men and women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem.
9:3
掃羅行路，將近大馬色，忽然有光從天上四面照著他，
And as he went, he drew near to Damascus, and suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him.
9:4
他就僕倒在地，聽見有聲音對他說，掃羅，掃羅，你為甚麼逼迫我？
And he fell on the ground and heard a voice saying to him, Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?
9:5
他說，主啊，你是誰？主說，我就是你所逼迫的耶穌。
And he said, Who are You, Lord? And He said, I am Jesus, whom you persecute.
9:6
起來，進城去，你所當作的事，必有人告訴你。
But rise up and enter into the city, and it will be told to you what you must do.
9:7
與他同行的人站著，說不出話來，聽見聲音，卻看不見人。
And the men who journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing the voice but seeing no one.
9:8
掃羅從地上起來，睜開眼睛，竟不能看見甚麼；有人拉著他的手，領他進了大馬色。
And Saul rose from the ground; and though his eyes were open, he could see nothing. And they led him by the hand and brought him into Damascus.
9:9
他三日不能看見，也不喫，也不喝。
And he was three days without seeing, and he neither ate nor drank.
9:10
當時在大馬色有一個門徒，名叫亞拿尼亞，主在異象中對他說，亞拿尼亞。他說，主啊，看哪，我在這裏。
And there was a certain disciple in Damascus named Ananias; and the Lord said to him in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord.
9:11
主對他說，起來，往那叫直的街上去，在猶大的家裏，尋找一個大數人名叫掃羅。看哪，他正在禱告，
And the Lord said to him, Rise up and go to the lane called Straight, and seek in the house of Judas a man from Tarsus named Saul; for behold, he is praying;
9:12
在異象中看見一個人，名叫亞拿尼亞，進來按手在他身上，叫他能看見。
And he has seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in and laying his hands on him so that he may receive his sight.
9:13
亞拿尼亞回答說，主啊，我聽見許多人說到這人，他在耶路撒冷向你的聖徒行了多少惡事，
But Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard from many concerning this man, how many evil things he has done to Your saints in Jerusalem;
9:14
並且他在這裏有從祭司長得來的權柄，要捆綁一切呼求你名的人。
And here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all who call upon Your name.
9:15
主卻對亞拿尼亞說，你只管去，因為這人是我所揀選的器皿，要在外邦人和君王並以色列子孫面前，宣揚我的名；
But the Lord said to him, Go, for this man is a chosen vessel to Me, to bear My name before both the Gentiles and kings and the sons of Israel;
9:16
我要指示他，為我的名必須受許多的苦難。
For I will show him how many things he must suffer on behalf of My name.
9:17
亞拿尼亞就去了，進了那家，按手在掃羅身上，說，掃羅弟兄，在你來的路上向你顯現的耶穌，就是主，差遣我來，叫你能看見，又被聖靈充溢。
And Ananias went away and entered into the house; and laying his hands on him, he said, Saul, brother, the Lord has sent me -- Jesus, who appeared to you on the road on which you were coming -- so that you may receive your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.
9:18
掃羅的眼睛上，好像有鱗立刻掉下來，他就能看見，於是起來受了浸，
And immediately there fell from his eyes something like scales, and he received his sight and rose up and was baptized.
9:19
喫過飯，就健壯了。掃羅和大馬色的門徒同在了一些日子；
And once he had taken food, he was strengthened. And he was with the disciples in Damascus for some days.
9:20
隨即在各會堂裏傳揚耶穌，說祂是神的兒子。
And immediately he proclaimed Jesus in the synagogues, that this One is the Son of God.
9:21
凡聽見的人都驚奇，說，在耶路撒冷損毀呼求這名者的，不就是這人麼？並且他到這裏來，不就是為要捆綁他們，帶到祭司長面前去麼？
And all who heard him were amazed and said, Is this not the one who ravaged those who call upon this name in Jerusalem and came here for this, that he might bring them bound before the chief priests?
9:22
但掃羅越發有能力，駁倒住大馬色的猶太人，證明這位耶穌就是基督。
But Saul was all the more empowered, and he confounded the Jews dwelling in Damascus by proving that this One is the Christ.
9:23
過了好些日子，猶太人商議要殺掃羅；
And as a considerable number of days were being fulfilled, the Jews took counsel together to do away with him;
9:24
但他們的計謀被掃羅知道了。他們又晝夜嚴密的看守城門，要殺害他。
But their plot was made known to Saul. And they also watched the gates closely, both day and night, so that they might do away with him.
9:25
他的門徒就在夜間，用筐子把他從城牆上縋下去。
But his disciples took him by night and let him down through the wall, lowering him in a basket.
9:26
掃羅到了耶路撒冷，想與門徒結交，眾人卻都怕他，不信他是門徒。
And when he arrived in Jerusalem, he tried to join himself to the disciples; yet all feared him, not believing that he was a disciple.
9:27
惟有巴拿巴接受他，領他到使徒那裏去，把他在路上怎麼看見主，主怎麼向他說話，他在大馬色怎麼在耶穌的名裏放膽講說，都向他們述說出來。
But Barnabas took hold of him and led him to the apostles, and he related to them how Saul had seen the Lord on the road, and that He had spoken to him, and how in Damascus he had spoken boldly in the name of Jesus.
9:28
於是掃羅在耶路撒冷，和門徒出入來往，
And he was with them, going in and going out in Jerusalem, speaking boldly in the name of the Lord.
9:29
在主的名裏放膽講說，並與說希利尼話的猶太人講論辯駁，他們卻想下手殺他。
And he spoke and disputed with the Hellenists, but they attempted to do away with him.
9:30
弟兄們知道了，就送他下該撒利亞，打發他往大數去。
But when the brothers realized it, they brought him down to Caesarea and sent him forth to Tarsus.
