7:5
我的神使我心裏起意，招聚貴胄、官長和百姓，要照家譜登記。我找著第一次上來之人的家譜，其上寫著：
Then my God put it into my heart to assemble the nobles and the rulers and the people to be enrolled by genealogy. And I found the book of the genealogy of those who had first come up, and I found this written in it:
7:6
巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒從前所遷徙之猶大省的人，現在他們的子孫從被擄到之地上到耶路撒冷和猶大，各歸本城，這些人記在下面。
These are the children of the province who went up out of the captivity of those who had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away and who returned to Jerusalem and to Judah, each man to his city;

Who came with Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Azariah, Raamiah, Nahamani, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispereth, Bigvai, Nehum, Baanah. The number of the men of the people of Israel:

巴錄的子孫二千一百七十二名；
The children of Parosh, two thousand one hundred seventy-two.
7:9
示法提雅的子孫三百七十二名；
The children of Shephatiah, three hundred seventy-two.
7:10
亞拉的子孫六百五十二名；
The children of Arah, six hundred fifty-two.

The children of Pahath-moab, of the children of Jeshua and Joab, two thousand eight hundred eighteen.

7:60
殿役和所羅門僕人的子孫共三百九十二名。
All the temple servants and the children of Solomon's servants were three hundred ninety-two.
7:61
從特米拉、特哈薩、基綠、亞頓、音麥上來，卻不能指明他們的宗族和世系是不是以色列人的，記在下面：
And these were those who went up from Tel-melah, Tel-harsha, Cherub, Addon, and Immer; but they could not give evidence of their fathers' houses nor their descendants, whether they were of Israel:
7:62
第來雅的子孫、多比雅的子孫、尼哥大的子孫，共六百四十二名。
The children of Delaiah, the children of Tobiah, the children of Nekoda, six hundred forty-two.
7:63
祭司中有哈巴雅的子孫、哈哥斯的子孫、和巴西萊的子孫；巴西萊因娶了基列人巴西萊的女兒為妻，所以按其名叫巴西萊。
And of the priests: the children of Hobaiah, the children of Hakkoz, the children of Barzillai, who took a wife from among the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite and was called after their name.
7:64
這些人在家譜的記載中尋查自己的記錄，卻尋不著，因此算為不潔，不准供祭司的職任。
These sought their registry among those who were enrolled by genealogy, but they were not found; therefore they were considered defiled and were excluded from the priesthood.
7:65
省長對他們說，不可喫至聖的物，直到有用烏陵和土明決疑的祭司興起來。
And the governor told them that they should not eat of the most holy things until a priest stood up with Urim and Thummim.
7:66
全會眾共有四萬二千三百六十名。
The whole assembly together was forty-two thousand three hundred sixty,
7:67
此外，還有他們的僕婢七千三百三十七名，又有歌唱的男女二百四十五名。
Besides their male servants and their female servants, of whom there were seven thousand three hundred thirty-seven; and they had two hundred forty-five male singers and female singers.
7:68
他們有馬七百三十六匹，騾二百四十五匹，
Their horses were seven hundred thirty-six; their mules, two hundred forty- five;
7:69
駱駝四百三十五隻，驢六千七百二十匹。
Their camels, four hundred thirty- five; their donkeys, six thousand seven hundred twenty.
7:70
有些宗族的首領為工程捐助。省長捐入庫中的有金子一千達利克，碗五十個，祭司的禮服五百三十件。
And some from among the heads of fathers' houses gave to the work. The governor gave to the treasury one thousand darics of gold, fifty basins, and five hundred thirty priests' garments.
7:71
宗族的首領捐入工程庫的有金子二萬達利克，銀子二千二百彌拿。
And some of the heads of fathers' houses gave into the treasury of the work twenty thousand darics of gold and two thousand two hundred minas of silver.
7:72
其餘百姓所捐的有金子二萬達利克，銀子二千彌拿，祭司的禮服六十七件。
And that which the rest of the people gave was twenty thousand darics of gold and two thousand minas of silver and sixty-seven priests' garments.
7:73
於是祭司、利未人、守門的、歌唱的、民中的一些人、殿役、並以色列眾人，都住在自己的城裏。七月到了，以色列人住在自己的城裏。
So the priests and the Levites and the gatekeepers and the singers and some of the people and the temple servants and all Israel dwelt in their cities. And when the seventh month came, the children of Israel were in their cities.
8:1
眾民如同一人，聚集在水門前的寬闊處，請經學家以斯拉將摩西的律法書帶來，這律法是耶和華吩咐以色列人遵守的。
And all the people gathered as one man in the open area that was before the Water Gate. And they told Ezra the scribe to bring the book of the law of Moses, which Jehovah had commanded to Israel.
8:2
七月初一日，祭司以斯拉將律法書帶到男女會眾、並一切聽了能明白的人面前。
And Ezra the priest brought the law before the assembly, both men and women, and all who could hear with understanding, on the first day of the seventh month.
8:3
他在水門前的寬闊處，從清早到晌午，在眾男女，並一切聽了能明白的人面前念這律法書。眾民側耳而聽。
And he read in it before the open area that was before the Water Gate from first light until midday in the presence of the men and the women and those who could understand. And the ears of all the people were attentive to the book of the law.
8:4
經學家以斯拉站在為這事特製的木臺上；瑪他提雅、示瑪、亞奈雅、烏利亞、希勒家、和瑪西雅站在他的右邊；毗大雅、米沙利、瑪基雅、哈順、哈拔大拿、撒迦利亞、和米書蘭站在他的左邊。
And Ezra the scribe stood upon a wooden platform that had been made for that purpose; and beside him stood Mattithiah and Shema and Anaiah and Uriah and Hilkiah and Maaseiah at his right hand; and at his left hand, Pedaiah and Mishael and Malchijah and Hashum and Hashbaddanah, Zechariah, and Meshullam.
8:5
以斯拉站在眾民以上，在眾民眼前展開這書；他一展開，眾民就都站起來。
And Ezra opened the book in the sight of all the people (for he was above all the people); and when he opened it, all the people stood up.
8:6
以斯拉頌贊耶和華至大的神；眾民都舉手應聲說，阿們，阿們；就低頭，面伏於地，敬拜耶和華。
And Ezra blessed Jehovah the great God; and all the people answered, Amen, Amen, lifting up their hands. And they bowed their heads and worshipped Jehovah with their faces to the ground.
8:7
耶書亞、巴尼、示利比、雅憫、亞谷、沙比太、荷第雅、瑪西雅、基利他、亞撒利雅、約撒拔、哈難、毘萊雅、和利未人，幫助百姓明白律法；百姓都站在自己的地方。
Also Jeshua and Bani and Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodiah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan, Pelaiah, and the Levites helped the people understand the law; and the people stood in their place.
8:8
他們念神的律法書，解譯並講明意思，使百姓明白所念的。
And they read in the book, in the law of God, interpreting and giving the sense, so that they understood the reading.
8:9
省長尼希米和作祭司的經學家以斯拉，並幫助百姓明白的利未人，對眾民說，今日是耶和華你們神的聖日，不要悲哀哭泣。這是因為眾民聽見律法書上的話都哭了。
And Nehemiah, who was the governor, and Ezra the priest and scribe, and the Levites who helped the people understand said to all the people, This day is holy unto Jehovah your God; do not mourn or weep. For all the people wept when they heard the words of the law.
8:10
他又對他們說，你們去喫肥美的，喝甘甜的，有不能豫備的就分給他，因為今日是我們主的聖日。你們不要憂愁，因耶和華的喜樂是你們的力量。
Then he said to them, Go your way; eat the fat, and drink the sweet wine, and send portions to him for whom nothing has been prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. And do not be grieved, for the joy of Jehovah is your strength.
8:11
於是利未人使眾民靜默，說，不要作聲，因今日是聖日；也不要憂愁。
So the Levites stilled all the people, saying, Be quiet, for the day is holy; and do not be grieved.
8:12
眾民都去吃喝，也分給人，大大快樂，因為他們明白所指示他們的話。
And all the people went their way to eat and to drink and to send portions and to make great rejoicing, because they had understood the words that were declared to them.
8:13
次日，眾民宗族的首領、祭司、和利未人，都聚集到經學家以斯拉那裏，要深入領略律法書上的話。
And on the second day the heads of fathers' houses of all the people, the priests, and the Levites were gathered to Ezra the scribe, that is, in order to gain insight into the words of the law.
8:14
他們見律法上寫著，耶和華藉摩西吩咐以色列人要在七月節住棚，
And they found it written in the law that Jehovah had commanded through Moses that the children of Israel dwell in booths during the feast in the seventh month,
8:15
並要在各城和耶路撒冷宣揚傳佈說，你們當上山去，將橄欖樹、野橄欖樹、番石榴樹、棕樹、和各樣茂密樹的枝葉取來，照著所寫的搭棚。
And that they publish and proclaim in all their cities and in Jerusalem, saying, Go out to the mountain and bring olive branches and wild olive branches and myrtle branches and palm branches and branches of other leafy trees to make booths, as it is written.
8:16
於是百姓出去，取了樹枝來，各人在自己的房頂上，或院內，或神殿的院內，或水門的寬闊處，或以法蓮門的寬闊處搭棚。
So the people went out and brought them, and all made booths for themselves on their roofs and in their courts and in the courts of the house of God and in the open area before the Water Gate and in the open area before the Gate of Ephraim.
8:17
被擄歸回的全會眾就搭棚，住在棚裏。從嫩的兒子約書亞的日子，直到那日，以色列人沒有這樣行過；於是眾人大大喜樂。
And all the assembly of those who returned from the captivity made booths and dwelt in the booths, for since the days of Jeshua the son of Nun to that day the children of Israel had not done so; and there was very great rejoicing.
8:18
從頭一天直到末一天，以斯拉每日念神的律法書。眾人守節七日，第八日照例有嚴肅會。
And day by day, from the first day to the last day, he read in the book of the law of God. And they held the feast seven days, and on the eighth day there was a solemn assembly, according to the ordinance.

使徒行傳 Acts 18:23-19：20
18:23
住了些時候，就起行，挨次經過加拉太地區和弗呂家，堅固眾門徒。
And when he had spent some time there, he went off, passing through the country of Galatia and Phrygia in order, confirming all the disciples.
18:24
有一個猶太人名叫亞波羅，來到以弗所；他按籍貫是亞力山大人，是個有口才的人，在聖經上很有能力。
And a certain Jew named Apollos, a native of Alexandria, an eloquent man, arrived at Ephesus, and he was powerful in the Scriptures.
18:25
這人已經在主的道路上受了教導，靈裏火熱，將耶穌的事詳確的講論教訓人，只是他單曉得約翰的浸。
This man was instructed in the way of the Lord, and being fervent in spirit, he spoke and taught accurately the things concerning Jesus, though he knew only the baptism of John.
18:26
他在會堂裏放膽講論起來，百基拉和亞居拉聽見，就接他來，將神的道路給他講解得更加詳確。
And this man began to speak boldly in the synagogue. And when Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they took him to themselves and expounded the way of God to him more accurately.
18:27
他想要往亞該亞去，弟兄們就鼓勵他，並寫信請門徒接待他，他到了那裏，就藉著恩典多多幫助那些信主的人；
And when he intended to pass through into Achaia, the brothers encouraged him and wrote to the disciples to welcome him; and when he arrived there, he helped much through grace those who had believed;
18:28
在公眾面前極有能力，駁倒猶太人，引聖經證明耶穌是基督。
For he vigorously confuted the Jews publicly, showing by the Scriptures that Jesus was the Christ.
19:1
亞波羅在哥林多的時候，保羅經過上邊一帶地方，就來到以弗所，遇見幾位門徒，
Now while Apollos was in Corinth, Paul, having passed through the upper districts, came down to Ephesus and found some disciples,
19:2
問他們說，你們信的時候，受了聖靈沒有？他們對他說，我們連有聖靈都沒有聽說過。
And he said to them, Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed? And they said to him, On the contrary, we did not even hear whether there is a Holy Spirit.
19:3
保羅說，這樣，你們受的是甚麼浸？他們說，是約翰的浸。
And he said, Into what then were you baptized? And they said, Into John's baptism.
19:4
保羅就說，約翰所施的是悔改的浸，告訴百姓，當信入那在他以後來的，就是耶穌。
And Paul said, John baptized with a baptism of repentance, telling the people that they should believe into the One coming after him, that is, into Jesus.
19:5
他們聽了，就浸入主耶穌的名裏。
And when they heard this, they were baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus.
19:6
保羅給他們按手，聖靈便降在他們身上，他們就說方言，又說豫言。
And when Paul laid his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied.
19:7
一共約有十二個人。
And there were in all about twelve men.
19:8
保羅進會堂，放膽講說，一連三個月，對於神國的事，與人辯論並勸服人。
And he entered into the synagogue and spoke boldly for three months, reasoning and persuading them in the things concerning the kingdom of God.
19:9
後來有些人剛硬不受勸服，在許多人面前毀謗這道路，保羅就離開他們，也叫門徒與他們分離，便在推喇奴的講堂裏天天辯論。
But when some were hardened and would not be persuaded, speaking evil of the Way before the multitude, he withdrew from them and separated the disciples, reasoning daily in the school of Tyrannus.
19:10
這樣有兩年之久，叫一切住在亞西亞的，無論是猶太人，是希利尼人，都聽見主的話。
And this took place for two years, so that all those dwelling in Asia heard the word of the Lord, both Jews and Greeks.
19:11
神藉保羅的手，行了非凡的異能，
And God did works of power of no ordinary kind through the hands of Paul,
19:12
甚至有人從保羅身上拿手巾或圍裙，放在病人身上，疾病就離開他們，惡靈也出去了。
So that even handkerchiefs or aprons were carried away from his body to the sick, and their diseases left them, and the evil spirits went out.
19:13
那時，有幾個遊行各處，念咒趕鬼的猶太人，向那被惡靈附著的人，擅自稱主耶穌的名，說，我靠保羅所傳揚的耶穌，敕令你們出來。
But some of the Jewish exorcists who also went about took it upon themselves to name over those who had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, I adjure you by the Jesus whom Paul preaches.
19:14
作這事的，有猶太祭司長士基瓦的七個兒子。
And there were seven sons of a certain Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, doing this.
19:15
惡靈回答他們說，耶穌我認識，保羅我也知道；你們卻是誰？
And the evil spirit answered and said to them, Jesus I know of, and with Paul I am acquainted; but who are you?
19:16
惡靈所附的人，就撲在他們身上，制伏了二人，且勝過了他們，叫他們赤著身子帶著傷，從那屋子裏逃出去了。
And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped upon them, subdued both of them, and overpowered them, so that they escaped out of that house naked and wounded.
19:17
凡住在以弗所的，無論是猶太人，是希利尼人，都知道這事，眾人都懼怕，主耶穌的名也就尊大了。
And this became known to all, both Jews and Greeks, dwelling in Ephesus; and fear fell upon them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified.
19:18
那已經信的，多有人來承認並述說自己素來所行的事。
And many of those who had believed came, confessing and making known their practices.
19:19
又有許多行巫術的人，把書拿來，堆在眾人面前燒燬了。他們計算書價，便知道共合五萬銀幣。
And a considerable number of those who practiced magic brought their books together and burned them before all; and they counted up the price of them and found it to be fifty thousand pieces of silver.
19:20
這樣，主的話便強有力的擴長，而且得勝。
Thus, the word of the Lord grew mightily and prevailed.
