申命記 Deuteronomy 1:1-2:23
1:1
以下是摩西在約但河東的曠野，疏弗對面的亞拉巴，在巴蘭和陀弗、拉班、哈洗錄、底撒哈之間，向以色列眾人所說的話。
These are the words which Moses spoke to all Israel across the Jordan in the wilderness, in the Arabah opposite Suph, between Paran and Tophel, Laban, Hazeroth, and Dizahab.
1:2
從何烈山沿著通往西珥山的路，到加低斯巴尼亞，有十一天的路程。
It is eleven days' journey from Horeb to Kadesh-barnea by the way that leads to Mount Seir.
1:3
出埃及後第四十年，十一月初一日，摩西照耶和華所吩咐他一切關於以色列人的話，都告訴他們；
And in the fortieth year, in the eleventh month, on the first day of the month, Moses spoke to the children of Israel according to all that Jehovah had commanded him for them,
1:4
那時，他已經擊殺了住希實本的亞摩利王西宏，和住亞斯他錄、以得來的巴珊王噩。
After he had slain Sihon the king of the Amorites, who dwelt in Heshbon, and Og the king of Bashan, who dwelt in Ashtaroth and in Edrei.
1:5
摩西在約但河東的摩押地，講解這律法，說，
Across the Jordan, in the land of Moab, Moses set himself to expound this law, saying,
1:6
耶和華我們的神在何烈山對我們說，你們住在這山上的日子彀了；
Jehovah our God spoke to us at Horeb, saying, You have dwelt long enough at this mountain.
1:7
要起行轉到亞摩利人的山地，和鄰近的各民那裏，就是亞拉巴、山地、低陸、南地、沿海一帶迦南人的地，並利巴嫩，直到大河，就是伯拉河。
Turn and set out, and go to the hill country of the Amorites and to all their neighboring peoples in the Arabah, in the hill country and in the lowland, and in the Negev and by the seacoast, the land of the Canaanites and Lebanon, as far as the great river, the river Euphrates.
1:8
看哪，我將這地擺在你們面前；你們要進去得這地，就是耶和華向你們列祖亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各起誓，要賜給他們和他們後裔的地。
See, I have set the land before you; go in and possess the land which Jehovah swore to give to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to them and to their seed after them.
1:9
那時我對你們說，照管你們的擔子，我獨自擔當不起。
And I spoke to you at that time, saying, I am not able to bear you alone.
1:10
耶和華你們的神使你們多起來；看哪，你們今日像天上的星那樣多。
Jehovah your God has multiplied you, and now today you are as the stars of heaven in multitude.
1:11
惟願耶和華你們列祖的神，使你們比如今更多千倍，照祂所應許你們的，賜福與你們！
Jehovah, the God of your fathers, add to you a thousandfold ones like you and bless you as He has promised you!
1:12
但你們的麻煩，和照管你們的擔子，並你們的爭訟，我獨自一人怎能擔當得起呢？
How can I alone bear the trouble and burden of you and your strife?
1:13
你們要按著支派選出有智慧、精明的人，為眾人所認識的，我就立他們為你們的首領。
Choose for yourselves men who are wise and prudent and well-attested, according to your tribes, and I will make them your leaders.
1:14
你們回答我說，你所說要我們行的事很好。
And you answered me and said, The thing that you have said to do is good.
1:15
我便將你們各支派的首領，就是有智慧、為眾人所認識的，立為你們各支派的千夫長、百夫長、五十夫長、十夫長和官長，作首領管理你們。
So I took the leaders of your tribes, men who were wise and well-attested, and I made them leaders over you, captains over thousands and captains over hundreds and captains over fifties and captains over tens and officials for your tribes.
1:16
當時，我囑咐你們的審判官說，你們要在弟兄之間聽訟，無論人與弟兄爭訟，或人與同住的外人爭訟，都要按公義判斷。
And I charged your judges at that time, saying, Hear the cases between your brothers, and judge righteously between a man and his brother or the sojourner with him.
1:17
審判的時候，不可看人的外貌；聽訟不可分尊卑，不可怕人的臉面，因為審判是屬於神的。若有難斷的案件，可以呈到我這裏來，我就聽審。
You shall not respect persons in judgment; you shall hear the small and the great alike. You shall not fear the face of man, for judgment is God's. And the case that is too hard for you, you shall bring to me; and I will hear it.
1:18
那時我將你們所當行的事，都吩咐你們了。
And I commanded you at that time all the things that you should do.
1:19
我們照著耶和華我們神所吩咐的，從何烈山起行，經過你們所看見那大而可怕的曠野，往亞摩利人的山地去；我們就到了加低斯巴尼亞。
And we set out from Horeb, and we went through all that great and awesome wilderness, which you saw, on the way to the hill country of the Amorites, as Jehovah our God commanded us; and we came to Kadesh-barnea.
1:20
我對你們說，你們已經到了耶和華我們神所賜給我們，亞摩利人的山地。
And I said to you, You have come to the hill country of the Amorites, which Jehovah our God is giving us.
1:21
看哪，耶和華你的神已將那地擺在你面前，你要照耶和華你列祖的神所說的，上去得那地為業；不要懼怕，也不要驚惶。
See, Jehovah your God has set the land before you; go up, possess it, as Jehovah the God of your fathers has spoken to you. Do not fear, neither be dismayed.
1:22
你們都就近我來，說，我們要先打發人去，為我們探察那地，將我們上去該走那條路，該進那些城，都回報我們。
Then all of you came near to me and said, Let us send men before us that they may search out the land for us and bring back to us word concerning the way by which we should go up and the cities into which we should go.
1:23
這話我以為美，就從你們中間選取了十二個人，每支派一個人。
And the thing pleased me, so I took twelve men from among you, one for each tribe.
1:24
於是他們轉身上山地去，到了以實各谷，窺探那地。
And they turned and went up into the hill country, and they came to the Valley of Eshcol; and they spied out the and.
1:25
他們手裏拿著那地的一些果子，下到我們那裏，回報說，耶和華我們的神所賜給我們的是美地。
And in their hands they took some of the fruit of the land, and they brought it down to us. And they brought word back to us and said, It is a good land which Jehovah our God is giving us.
1:26
你們卻不肯上去，竟違背耶和華你們神的話，
Yet you would not go up. Rather you rebelled against the word of Jehovah your God;
1:27
在帳棚內發怨言說，耶和華因為恨我們，所以將我們從埃及地領出來，要把我們交在亞摩利人手中，好除滅我們。
And you murmured in your tents and said, Because Jehovah hates us, He has brought us out from the land of Egypt to deliver us into the hands of the Amorites in order to destroy us.
1:28
我們要上那裏去呢？我們的弟兄使我們的心融化，說，那地的民比我們又大又高，城邑又寬大又堅固，高得頂天；我們在那裏還看到亞衲人的子孫。
Where shall we go up? Our brothers have made our hearts melt, saying, The people are greater and taller than we; the cities are big and fortified up to heaven; and furthermore we have seen the children of the Anakim there.
1:29
我就對你們說，不要驚恐，也不要怕他們。
Then I said to you, Do not be terrified, neither be afraid of them.
1:30
在你們前面行的耶和華你們的神必為你們爭戰，正如祂在埃及，在你們眼前為你們所行的一樣，
Jehovah your God, who goes before you, He will fight for you according to all that He did for you in Egypt before your eyes,
1:31
並且在曠野裏，你們也曾看見耶和華你們的神，在你們所行的路上背負你們，如同人背負兒子一般，直到你們來到這地方。
And in the wilderness, where you have seen that Jehovah your God carried you, as a man carries his son, in all the way that you went until you came to this place.
1:32
你們雖聽了這話，卻不信耶和華你們的神；
Yet in spite of this word you did not believe in Jehovah your God,
1:33
祂在路上，在你們前面行，為你們尋找安營的地方；夜間在火柱裏，日間在雲柱裏，指示你們當行的路。
Who went before you in the way, to seek out for you a place for you to camp, in the fire by night to show you by which way you should go and in the cloud by day.
1:34
耶和華聽見你們說話的鬧聲，就發怒，起誓說，
And Jehovah heard the voice of your words, and He became furious and swore, saying,
1:35
這惡世代的人，連一個也不得見我起誓要賜給你們列祖的美地，
Not one of these men, this evil generation, shall by any means see the good land which I have sworn to give to your fathers,
1:36
惟有耶孚尼的兒子迦勒必得看見；我要將他所踏過的地賜給他和他的子孫，因為他專一跟從我耶和華。
Except Caleb the son of Jephunneh; he shall see it. And to him I will give the land on which he has trodden, and to his children, because he has fully followed Jehovah.
1:37
耶和華為你們的緣故也向我發怒，說，你也必不得進入那地；
With me also Jehovah was angry on your account, saying, You also shall not enter there;
1:38
那伺候你的，嫩的兒子約書亞，必得進入那地；你要勉勵他，因為他要使以色列人承受那地。
Joshua the son of Nun, who attends to you, he shall enter there. Strengthen him, for it is he who will cause Israel to inherit it.
1:39
並且你們的孩子，就是你們所說要被擄掠的，和今日不知善惡的兒女，必進入那地。我要將那地賜給他們，他們必得為業。
Moreover your little ones, who you said would be prey, and your children, who this day do not know good and evil, they shall enter there. And to them I will give it, and they will possess it.
1:40
至於你們，要轉回，從通往紅海的路往前行，到曠野去。
But as for you, turn and set out into the wilderness by the way that leads to the Red Sea.
1:41
那時，你們回答我說，我們得罪耶和華了，我們情願照耶和華我們神所吩咐的一切，上去爭戰。於是你們裝束好，各人帶著兵器，輕率的上山地去。
Then you answered and said to me, We have sinned against Jehovah; we ourselves will go up and fight according to all that Jehovah our God has commanded us. And you girded yourselves, every man with his weapons of war, and thought it a light thing to go up to the hill country.
1:42
耶和華對我說，你告訴他們，不要上去爭戰，因為我不在你們中間，免得你們在仇敵面前被擊殺。
And Jehovah said to me, Say to them, You shall not go up and fight, for I am not among you, so that you are not struck down before your enemies.
1:43
我就告訴了你們，你們卻不聽從，竟違背耶和華的話，擅自上山地去。
So I spoke to you, but you did not listen; rather, you rebelled against the word of Jehovah and went up presumptuously to the hill country.
1:44
住那山地的亞摩利人就出來攻擊你們，追趕你們如蜂擁一般；他們在西珥擊退你們，直到何珥瑪。
And the Amorites who dwell in that hill country came out against you and chased you as bees do; and they beat you back in Seir as far as Hormah.
1:45
你們便回來，在耶和華面前哭號；耶和華卻不聽你們的聲音，也不向你們側耳。
And you returned and wept before Jehovah; but Jehovah did not listen to your voice nor give ear to you.
1:46
於是你們在加低斯住了許多日子。
So you remained in Kadesh for many days, as many days as you remained.
2:1
此後，我們轉回，從通往紅海的路往前行，到曠野去，是照著耶和華對我說的；我們在西珥山繞行了許多日子。
And we turned and set out for the wilderness by the way that leads to the Red Sea, as Jehovah spoke to me; and we circled Mount Seir for many days.
2:2
耶和華對我說，
Then Jehovah spoke to me, saying,
2:3
你們繞行這山的日子彀了，要轉向北去。
You have circled this mountain long enough; turn northward,
2:4
你吩咐百姓說，你們弟兄以掃的子孫住在西珥，你們將要經過他們的境界；他們必懼怕你們，所以你們要分外謹慎；
And command the people, saying, You are about to pass through the territory of your brothers the children of Esau, who dwell in Seir; and they will be afraid of you. Take careful heed to yourselves therefore;
2:5
不可向他們挑釁；他們的地，連腳掌可踏之處，我都不給你們，因我已將西珥山賜給以掃為業。
Do not engage them, for I will not give you any of their land, not even as much as a footstep; for I have given Mount Seir to Esau as a possession.
2:6
你們要用銀錢向他們買糧喫，也要用銀錢向他們買水喝。
You shall buy food from them with money, that you may eat; and you shall also obtain water from them with money, that you may drink.
2:7
因為耶和華你的神在你手所辦的一切事上，已經賜福與你；你走過這大曠野，祂都知道。這四十年，耶和華你的神常與你同在，故此你一無所缺。
For Jehovah your God has blessed you in all your doings; He knows your journeying through this great wilderness. These forty years Jehovah your God has been with you; you have not lacked a thing.
2:8
於是，我們離了我們弟兄以掃子孫所住的西珥，離開亞拉巴的路，離開以拉他、以旬迦別，轉身沿著通往摩押曠野的路前行。
So we passed on from our brothers the children of Esau, who dwell in Seir, away from the way of the Arabah, away from Elath and from Ezion-geber; and we turned and passed on by the way that leads to the wilderness of Moab.
2:9
耶和華對我說，不可擾害摩押人，也不可向他們挑釁，引起爭戰；他們的地，我不賜給你為業，因我已將亞珥賜給羅得的子孫為業。
And Jehovah said to me, Do not harass Moab, nor engage them in battle, for I will not give you any of their land as a possession; for to the children of Lot I have given Ar as a possession.
2:10
(先前，有以米人住在那裏，這民強大眾多，身量高大，像亞衲人一樣；
(The Emim dwelt there before that, a people great and numerous and as tall as the Anakim;
2:11
這以米人與亞衲人一樣，也算是利乏音人，但摩押人稱他們為以米人。
They were considered Rephaim, as were the Anakim, but the Moabites called them Emim.
2:12
先前，何利人也住在西珥，但以掃的子孫將他們趕出，將他們從自己面前除滅，接替他們住在那裏，就如以色列人在耶和華賜給他們為業之地所行的一樣。)
The Horites also dwelt in Seir before that, but the children of Esau dispossessed them and destroyed them from before them; and they dwelt there in their place, as Israel did with the land of their possession, which Jehovah gave to them.)
2:13
現在，起來過撒烈溪。於是我們過了撒烈溪。
Now rise up and cross over the brook Zered. And we crossed over the brook Zered.
2:14
自從我們離開加低斯巴尼亞，到過撒烈溪的時候，共有三十八年，直到那世代的兵丁都從營中滅盡，正如耶和華向他們所起的誓。
And the time that we spent in going from Kadesh-barnea until we crossed over the brook Zered was thirty-eight years, until all the generation of the men of war was consumed from the midst of the camp, as Jehovah had sworn to them.
2:15
耶和華的手也攻擊他們，將他們從營中清除，直到滅盡。
Moreover the hand of Jehovah was against them to purge them from the midst of the camp until they were consumed.
2:16
兵丁從民中都滅盡死亡以後，
So when all the men of war were consumed from the midst of the people and dead,
2:17
耶和華對我說，
Then Jehovah spoke to me, saying,
2:18
你今天要從摩押的境界亞珥經過。
You are to pass through the territory of Moab, through Ar, today.
2:19
你走近亞捫人之地，不可擾害他們，也不可向他們挑釁；亞捫人的地，我不賜給你們為業，因我已將那地賜給羅得的子孫為業。
And when you come near to the children of Ammon, do not harass them, nor engage them, for I will not give any of the land of the children of Ammon to you as a possession; for I have given it to the children of Lot as a possession.
2:20
(那地也算為利乏音人之地，先前利乏音人住在那裏，亞捫人稱他們為散送冥。
(It was also considered a land of Rephaim; Rephaim formerly dwelt in it. But the Ammonites call them Zamzummim,
2:21
那民強大眾多，身量高大，像亞衲人一樣；但耶和華從亞捫人面前除滅他們，亞捫人就將他們趕出，接替他們住在那裏。
A people great and numerous and as tall as the Anakim. Yet Jehovah destroyed them from before them, and they dispossessed them and dwelt there in their place;
2:22
正如耶和華從前為住西珥的以掃子孫，將何利人從他們面前除滅一樣。他們將何利人趕出、接替他們住在那裏，直到今日。
As He did for the children of Esau, who dwell in Seir, when He destroyed the Horites from before them. And they dispossessed them and have dwelt there in their place to this day.
2:23
從迦斐託出來的迦斐託人，將先前住在鄉村直到迦薩的亞衛人除滅，接替他們住在那裏。)
And the Avvim, who dwell in the villages as far as Gaza, the Caphtorim, who came from Caphtor, destroyed them and dwelt there in their place.)

15:16
兵丁把耶穌帶進總督府的院子裏，叫齊了全營的兵。
And the soldiers led Him away within the courtyard, that is, the praetorium, and called together the whole cohort.
15:17
他們給祂穿上紫袍，又把編成的荊棘冠冕給祂戴上，
And they clothed Him in purple and wove a thorny crown and put it around His head.
15:18
就向祂致敬說，猶太人的王！願你喜樂！
And they began to salute Him: Rejoice, King of the Jews!
15:19
又用一根葦子打祂的頭，向祂吐唾沫，屈膝拜祂。
And they beat His head with a reed and spat at Him. And kneeling down, they bowed before Him.
15:20
戲弄完了，就脫下祂的紫袍，給祂穿上自己的衣服，帶祂出去，要釘祂十字架。
And when they had mocked Him, they stripped Him of the purple and put His garments on Him. And they led Him out to crucify Him.
15:21
有一個古利奈人西門，就是亞力山大和魯孚的父親，從鄉下來，經過那裏，他們就強迫他背耶穌的十字架。
And they compelled a certain passerby coming from the country, Simon a Cyrenian, the father of Alexander and Rufus, to take up His cross.
15:22
他們帶耶穌到了各各他地方，（各各他翻出來，就是髑髏地，）
And they brought Him to the place Golgotha, which is interpreted, the Place of a Skull.
15:23
拿沒藥調和的酒給祂，祂卻不接受。
And they tried to give Him wine mixed with myrrh, but He did not take it.
15:24
於是將祂釘十字架，拈鬮分祂的衣服，看誰該得甚麼。
And they crucified Him and divided His garments, casting lots for them to see what each should take.
15:25
他們將祂釘了十字架，乃是在上午九時。
Now it was the third hour and they crucified Him.
15:26
其上的罪狀牌寫著：猶太人的王。
And there was an inscription of the charge against Him inscribed: The King Of The JEWS.
15:27
他們又把兩個強盜，和祂同釘十字架，一個在右邊，一個在左邊。
And with Him they crucified two robbers, one on His right and one on His left.
15:28
這就應驗了經上的話，說，“祂被列在不法的人當中。”
And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, "And He was counted with the lawless.''
15:29
經過的人褻瀆祂，搖著頭說，咳！你這拆毀聖殿，三日內建造起來的，
And those who were passing by blasphemed Him, wagging their heads and saying, Aha! You who destroy the temple and build it in three days,
15:30
救你自己罷！從十字架上下來罷！
Save Yourself and come down from the cross!
15:31
祭司長和經學家也是這樣戲弄祂，彼此說，祂救了別人，不能救自己。
Likewise also the chief priests with the scribes mocked Him with one another and said, He saved others; Himself He cannot save.
15:32
以色列的王基督，現在可以從十字架上下來，叫我們看見就信。那和祂同釘的人也是辱駡祂。
Let the Christ, the King of Israel, come down now from the cross that we may see and believe. Those who were crucified with Him also reproached Him.
15:33
從正午到午後三時，遍地都黑暗了。
And when the sixth hour came, darkness fell over the whole land until the ninth hour.
15:34
午後三時，耶穌大聲喊著：以羅伊，以羅伊，拉馬撒巴各大尼？繙出來就是：我的神，我的神，你為甚麼棄絕我？
And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is interpreted, My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?
15:35
旁邊站著的人，有的聽見就說，看哪，祂呼叫以利亞。
And some of those standing by heard this and said, Behold, He is calling for Elijah.
15:36
有一個人跑去，把海綿蘸滿了醋，綁在葦子上，送給祂喝，說，等一等，看以利亞來不來把祂取下。
And someone ran and filled a sponge with vinegar, and putting it on a reed, gave it to Him to drink, saying, Let Him be. Let us see if Elijah is coming to take Him down.
15:37
耶穌大聲喊叫，氣就斷了。
And Jesus let out a loud cry and expired.
15:38
殿裏的幔子從上到下裂為兩半。
And the veil of the temple was split in two from top to bottom.
15:39
對面站著的百夫長，看見祂這樣斷氣，就說，這人真是神的兒子。
And the centurion standing by opposite Him, seeing that He expired in this way, said, Truly this man was the Son of God.
15:40
還有些婦女，遠遠的觀看，其中有抹大拉的馬利亞，又有小雅各和約西的母親馬利亞，並有撒羅米，
And there were also some women looking on from a distance, among whom were Mary the Magdalene, and Mary the mother of the younger James and of Joses, and Salome,
15:41
就是耶穌在加利利的時候，跟隨祂，服事祂的那些人，另外還有許多跟祂同上耶路撒冷的婦女。
Who, when He was in Galilee, followed Him and ministered to Him, as well as many other women who came up with Him to Jerusalem.
15:42
到了黃昏，因為這是豫備日，就是安息日的前一日，
And when evening had fallen, since it was the day of preparation, that is, the day before the Sabbath,
15:43
有亞利馬太的一個人約瑟前來；他是尊貴的議士，也是盼望神國的，他放膽進到彼拉多那裏，求耶穌的身體。
Joseph, the honorable member of the Council, from Arimathea, who was also himself awaiting the kingdom of God, came; and gathering courage, he went in to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus.
15:44
彼拉多希奇耶穌已經死了，便叫百夫長來，問他耶穌死了久不久。
And Pilate marveled that He had already died, and calling to him the centurion, he questioned him whether He had been dead long.
15:45
他既從百夫長得知實情，就把耶穌的屍首給了約瑟。
And when he found out from the centurion, he granted the corpse to Joseph.
15:46
約瑟買了細麻布，把耶穌取下來，用細麻布裹好，安放在磐石中鑿出來的墳墓裏，又輥過一塊石頭來擋住墓門。
And Joseph purchased a piece of fine linen, took Him down, and wrapped Him in the fine linen. And he laid Him in a tomb which was hewn out of rock and rolled a stone against the door of the tomb.
15:47
抹大拉的馬利亞，和約西的母親馬利亞，都看見安放祂的地方。
And Mary the Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joses saw where He was laid.
