箴言 Proverbs 12:1-13:25
12:1
喜愛管教的，就是喜愛知識；恨惡責備的，卻是愚蠢。
Whoever loves correction loves knowledge, But he who hates reproof is stupid.
12:2
善人必蒙耶和華的恩惠；設詭計的人，耶和華必定罪。
A good man will obtain the favor of Jehovah, But a man of wicked devices He will condemn.
12:3
人靠邪惡不能堅立；義人的根必不動搖。
A man will not be established by wickedness, But the root of the righteous will not be moved.
12:4
才德的婦人是丈夫的冠冕；貽羞的婦人，如同丈夫骨中的朽爛。
A worthy woman is the crown of her husband, But she who brings shame is like rottenness in his bones.
12:5
義人的籌算是公平；惡人的計謀是詭詐。
The thoughts of the righteous are just, But the counsels of the wicked are deceitful.
12:6
惡人的話埋伏要流人的血；正直人的口必拯救人。
The words of the wicked lie in wait for blood, But the mouth of the upright will deliver them.
12:7
惡人傾覆，歸於無有；義人的家，必站得住。
The wicked are overthrown and are no more, But the house of the righteous will stand.
12:8
人必按自己的精明被稱讚；心中乖謬的，必被藐視。
A man will be praised according to his prudence, But he who is of a perverse heart will be despised.
12:9
被人輕賤，卻有僕人，強如自尊，缺少食物。
Better is he who is lightly esteemed and has a servant, Than he who honors himself and lacks bread.
12:10
義人顧惜他牲畜的命；惡人的心腸卻是殘忍。
A righteous man regards the life of his beast, But the inward parts of the wicked are cruel.
12:11
耕種自己田地的，必得飽食；追隨虛浮的，卻是無知。
He who tills his land will have plenty of bread, But he who pursues worthless things lacks sense.
12:12
惡人想望壞人的網羅；義人的根得以結實。
The wicked man desires the catch of evil men, But the root of the righteous yields fruit.
12:13
惡人嘴中的過錯是自己的網羅；但義人必從患難中出來。
In the transgression of the lips there is a snare for the evil man, But the righteous man will come out of trouble.
12:14
人因口所結的果子，必飽得美福；人手所作的，必為自己的報應。
A man will be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth, And the result of man's deeds will be rendered to him.
12:15
愚妄人所行的，在自己眼中看為正直，惟智慧人肯聽勸戒。
The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, But a wise man listens to counsel.
12:16
愚妄人的惱怒立時顯露，惟精明人能忍辱藏羞。
A fool's anger is known at once, But a prudent man conceals shame.
12:17
吐露真話的，說出公義；作假見證的，顯出詭詐。
He who utters truth tells forth righteousness; But a false witness, deceit.
12:18
有人說話浮躁，如刀刺人；智慧人的舌頭卻能醫治人。
There is one who speaks rashly like the piercings of a sword, But the tongue of the wise brings healing.
12:19
口吐真話，永遠堅立；舌說謊言，只存片時。
The lip of truth shall be established forever, But a lying tongue is only for a moment.
12:20
圖謀惡事的，心存詭詐；策畫和平的，便有喜樂。
Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil, But counselors of peace have joy.
12:21
義人不遭災害；惡人滿受禍患。
No harm will happen to the righteous man, But the wicked are filled with trouble.
12:22
說謊言的嘴為耶和華所憎惡；行事忠信的，為祂所喜悅。
Lying lips are an abomination to Jehovah, But those who deal faithfully are His delight.
12:23
精明人隱藏知識；愚昧人的心宣揚愚妄。
A prudent man conceals knowledge, But the heart of fools proclaims folly.
12:24
殷勤人的手必掌權；懶惰的人必服苦役。
The hand of the diligent will rule, But the slothful will be under forced labor.
12:25
人心憂慮，使心消沉；一句良言，使心喜樂。
Anxiety in the heart of a man weighs it down, But a good word brings it joy.
12:26
義人引導他的鄰舍；惡人的道路叫人失迷。
The righteous man is a guide to his neighbor, But the way of the wicked leads them astray.
12:27
懶惰的人不燒烤獵物；殷勤的人卻得寶貴的財物。
The slothful man does not roast his game, But the precious substance of men is to the diligent.
12:28
在公義的道路上有生命；其路徑之中並無死亡。
In the way of righteousness is life, And in its pathway there is no death.
13:1
智慧之子聽父親的訓誨；褻慢的人不聽責備。
A wise son hears his father's instruction, But a scorner does not listen to rebuke.
13:2
人因口所結的果子，必享美福；奸詐人的願望乃是強暴。
A man will eat good from the fruit of his mouth, But the desire of the treacherous is violence.
13:3
謹守口的，得保己命；大張嘴的，必致敗壞。
He who guards his mouth keeps his soul, But he who opens wide his lips will have destruction.
13:4
懶惰人羡慕，卻無所得；殷勤人必得豐裕。
The soul of the sluggard desires and has nothing, But the soul of the diligent will be made fat.
13:5
義人恨惡虛謊；惡人發臭蒙羞。
A righteous man hates what is false, But a wicked man is odious and is confounded.
13:6
行徑無可指摘的，有公義護衛；犯罪的，被邪惡傾覆。
Righteousness guards him who is blameless in the way, But wickedness overthrows the sinner.
13:7
有人偽充富足，卻一無所有；有人裝作窮乏，卻多有財物。
There is one who pretends to be rich yet has nothing; There is one who pretends to be poor yet has great wealth.
13:8
人生命的贖價是他的財富，窮乏人卻聽不見威嚇的話。
The ransom of a man's life is his riches, But the poor hears no threatening.
13:9
義人的光必喜樂；惡人的燈卻要熄滅。
The light of the righteous rejoices, But the lamp of the wicked goes out.
13:10
傲慢只啟爭競；接受勸言的，卻有智慧。
Through pride comes nothing but strife, But wisdom is with those who receive counsel.
13:11
不勞而得之財，必然消減；勞苦積蓄的，必見加增。
Wealth obtained by vanity will be diminished, But he who gathers by labor increases it.
13:12
所盼望的遲延未得，令人心憂；所願意的臨到，乃是生命樹。
Hope deferred makes the heart sick, But when what is desired comes, it is a tree of life.
13:13
藐視訓言的，自取滅亡；敬畏誡命的，必得賞報。
Whoever despises the word brings destruction on himself, But he who fears the commandment will be rewarded.
13:14
智慧人的指教是生命的泉源，使人離開死亡的網羅。
The teaching of the wise is a fountain of life, To turn one aside from the snares of death.
13:15
美好的聰明使人蒙恩；奸詐人的道路崎嶇難行。
Good understanding gives favor, But the way of the treacherous is hard.
13:16
凡精明人都憑知識行事；愚昧人張揚自己的愚妄。
Every prudent man works with knowledge, But a fool displays his folly.
13:17
奸惡的使者必陷在禍患裏；忠信的使臣卻能醫治人。
A wicked messenger falls into evil, But a faithful envoy brings healing.
13:18
棄絕管教的，必致貧受辱；看重責備的，必得尊榮。
Poverty and shame will come to him who refuses correction, But he who regards reproof will be honored.
13:19
所欲的成就，心覺甘甜；遠離惡事，為愚昧人所憎惡。
A desire accomplished is sweet to the soul, But it is an abomination to fools to depart from evil.
13:20
與智慧人同行的，必得智慧；和愚昧人作伴的，必受虧損。
He who walks with wise men will be wise, But the companion of fools will be troubled.
13:21
禍患追趕罪人；美善賞報義人。
Evil pursues sinners, But good recompenses the righteous.
13:22
善人給子孫遺留產業；罪人積存貲財，卻歸義人所有。
A good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children, But the wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous man.
13:23
窮人開墾的地多產糧食，但因不義而被毀壞。
The fallow ground of the poor yields much food, But it is destroyed through injustice.
13:24
不忍用杖打兒子的，是恨惡他；疼愛兒子的，趁早管教。
He who spares his rod hates his son, But he who loves him chastens him early.
13:25
義人喫得心滿意足；惡人肚腹缺糧。
The righteous man eats to the satisfying of his soul, But the belly of the wicked will lack.

哥林多後書 2 Corinthians 2:12-3:11
2:12
再者，我從前為基督的福音到了特羅亞，藉著主也有門向我開了，
Furthermore, when I came to Troas for the gospel of Christ and a door was open to me in the Lord,
2:13
那時沒有找到我的弟兄提多，我靈裏不安，便辭別那裏的人，往馬其頓去了。
I had no rest in my spirit, for I did not find Titus my brother; but taking leave of them, I went forth into Macedonia.
2:14
感謝神，祂常在基督裏，在凱旋的行列中帥領我們，並藉著我們在各處顯揚那因認識基督而有的香氣；
But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in the Christ and manifests the savor of the knowledge of Him through us in every place.
2:15
因為無論在那些正在得救的人中，或是在那些正在滅亡的人中，我們都是獻給神的基督馨香之氣：
For we are a fragrance of Christ to God in those who are being saved and in those who are perishing:
2:16
在這等人，就是出於死的香氣叫人死；在那等人，就是出於生命的香氣叫人活；對這些事，誰彀資格？
To some a savor out of death unto death, and to the others a savor out of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things?
2:17
我們不像那許多人，為利混亂神的話，而是出於純誠，出於神，在神面前在基督裏講神的話。
For we are not like the many, adulterating the word of God for profit; but as out of sincerity, but as out of God, before God we speak in Christ.
3:1
我們豈是又開始推薦自己麼？豈像有些人，需要給你們薦信，或由你們寫薦信麼？
Are we beginning again to commend ourselves? Or do we need, as some do, letters of commendation to you or from you?
3:2
你們就是我們的信，寫在我們的心裏，是眾人所認識、所誦讀的，
You are our letter, inscribed in our hearts, known and read by all men,
3:3
你們顯明是基督的信，由我們供職所寫的，不是用墨，乃是用活神的靈寫的，不是寫在石版上，乃是寫在肉版，就是心上。
Since you are being manifested that you are a letter of Christ ministered by us, inscribed not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tablets of stone but in tablets of hearts of flesh.
3:4
我們藉著基督，對神有這樣的深信。
And such confidence we have through Christ toward God,
3:5
並不是我們憑自己彀資格將甚麼估計作像是出於我們自己的；我們之所以彀資格，乃是出於神；
Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to account anything as from ourselves; but our sufficiency is from God,
3:6
祂使我們彀資格作新約的執事，這些執事不是屬於字句，乃是屬於靈，因為那字句殺死人，那靈卻叫人活。
Who has also made us sufficient as ministers of a new covenant, ministers not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
3:7
若那用字刻在石頭上屬死的職事，尚且是帶著榮光立的，以致以色列子孫因摩西面上漸漸廢去的榮光，不能定睛看他的臉，
Moreover if the ministry of death, engraved in stone in letters, came about in glory, so that the sons of Israel were not able to gaze at the face of Moses because of the glory of his face, a glory which was being done away with,
3:8
何況那靈的職事，豈不更帶著榮光？
How shall the ministry of the Spirit not be more in glory?
3:9
若定罪的職事有榮光，那稱義的職事，就越發充盈著榮光了。
For if there is glory with the ministry of condemnation, much more the ministry of righteousness abounds with glory.
3:10
那從前得榮光的，在這一點上，因這超越的榮光，就算不得有榮光；
For also that which has been glorified in this respect has not been glorified on account of the surpassing glory.
3:11
因為那漸漸廢去的，如果是經過榮光的，這長存的就更多在榮光裏了。
For if that which was being done away with was through glory, much more that which remains is in glory.
