耶利米書Jeremiah 4:3-6:30
4:3
耶和華對猶大和耶路撒冷人如此說，要開墾你們未耕之地，不要撒種在荊棘中。
For thus says Jehovah to the men of Judah and to Jerusalem, Break up your fallow ground, And do not sow among thorns.
4:4
猶大人和耶路撒冷的居民哪，你們當自行割禮，歸耶和華，將心裏的污穢除掉；恐怕我的忿怒，因你們的惡行發作，如火焚燒，無人能以熄滅。
Circumcise yourselves to Jehovah, And remove the foreskins of your heart, Men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem, Lest My wrath go forth like fire And burn, and there be no one to quench it Because of the evil of your deeds.
4:5
你們當傳揚在猶大，宣告在耶路撒冷，說，你們當在這地吹角，高聲呼叫說，你們當聚集，我們好進入堅固城。
Declare in Judah And proclaim in Jerusalem, and say: Blow the trumpet in the land; Cry aloud and say, Gather yourselves and let us go Into the fortified cities.
4:6
應當向錫安豎立旌旗；要逃避，不要停留；因我必使災禍，與大毀滅，從北方來到。
Raise up a standard toward Zion. Seek refuge; do not stay; For I am bringing evil from the north, And great destruction.
4:7
有獅子已經從樹叢中上來，毀壞列國的已經動身。他已經出離本處，要使你的地荒涼；你的城邑必變為荒場，無人居住。
A lion has come up from his thicket, And a destroyer of nations has set out. He has gone forth from his place To make your land a waste; Your cities will be ruins, Without an inhabitant.
4:8
因此，你們當腰束麻布，慟哭哀號；因為耶和華的烈怒，沒有轉離我們。
For this, gird yourselves with sackcloth, Wail and howl; For the burning anger of Jehovah Has not turned away from us.
4:9
耶和華說，到那日君王和首領的心，都要沮喪；祭司都要驚奇，申言者都要詫異。
And in that day, declares Jehovah, the heart of the king and the heart of the princes will fail; and the priests will be appalled, and the prophets will be astounded.
4:10
我說，哀哉，主耶和華阿，你真是大大的欺哄了這百姓和耶路撒冷，說，你們必得平安；其實刀劍害及性命了。
And I said, Alas, Lord Jehovah, surely You have utterly deceived this people and Jerusalem, saying, You will have peace; whereas the sword reaches to the soul.
4:11
那時，必有話對這百姓和耶路撒冷說，有一陣熱風，從曠野光禿的高處，向我的百姓颳來，不是為簸揚，也不是為揚淨；
At that time it will be said to this people and to Jerusalem, A hot wind from the bare heights in the wilderness toward the daughter of My people, not for winnowing nor for purging
4:12
這一陣風強烈難當，從我颳到；現在我又必發出判語，攻擊他們。
(A wind too strong for these), will come from Me; now I will also utter judgments against them.
4:13
他必如雲上來，他的戰車如旋風，他的馬比鷹更快。我們有禍了，我們遭殃了！
Here he is coming up like clouds, And his chariots like the whirlwind; His horses are swifter than eagles. Woe to us for we are devastated!
4:14
耶路撒冷阿，你當洗去心中的惡，使你可以得救；惡念存留在你心裏，要到幾時呢？
Wash your heart from wickedness, O Jerusalem, That you may be saved. How long will your evil thoughts Lodge within you?
4:15
有聲音從但宣揚，從以法蓮山地報患難。
For a voice declares from Dan And announces affliction from the hill country of Ephraim.
4:16
你們當向列國題說，向耶路撒冷報告，說，有圍困的人從遠方來到，向猶大的城邑發聲呐喊。
Make mention to the nations; yes, Announce against Jerusalem. Besiegers are coming from a distant land And utter their voice against the cities of Judah.
4:17
他們四面圍住耶路撒冷，好像看守田地的人，因為她背叛了我；這是耶和華說的。
Like those who watch over a field, they are against her all around Because she has rebelled against Me, declares Jehovah.
4:18
你的行徑，你的作為，給你招惹這些事；這是你的惡果；實在是苦，是害及你心了！
Your way and your deeds Have caused these things to happen to you. This is your wickedness. Indeed it is bitter! Indeed it reaches to your heart!
4:19
我的心腸阿，我的心腸阿，我翻騰絞痛。我的心哪！我的心在我裏面呻吟；我不能靜默不言；因為我的魂哪，你已經聽見角聲，聽見打仗的呐喊。
My bowels, my bowels; I am writhing. O the walls of my heart! My heart is moaning within me; I cannot be silent; For you hear, O my soul, the sound of the trumpet, The alarm of war.
4:20
毀壞的信息接連不斷，因為全地敗落；我的帳棚忽然破敗，我的幔子頃刻破裂。
Destruction upon destruction is proclaimed, For the whole land is devastated. Suddenly my tents are devastated, And my curtains in a moment.
4:21
我看見旌旗，聽見角聲，要到幾時呢？
How long will I see the standard, And hear the sound of the trumpet?
4:22
耶和華說，我的百姓愚頑，不認識我。他們是愚蠢無知的兒女；他們有智慧行惡，卻無知識行善。
For My people are foolish; They do not know Me. They are stupid children And have no understanding. They are wise to do evil, But they do not know to do good.
4:23
申言者說，我觀看地，見地荒廢空虛；我觀看天，天也無光。
I looked at the earth, and there it was, waste and emptiness; And at the heavens, and they had no light.
4:24
我觀看大山，見大山盡都震動，小山也都搖來搖去。
I looked at the mountains, and there they were, shaking, And all the hills were swaying.
4:25
我觀看，見無一人，空中的飛鳥也都躲避。
I looked, and there was no man, And all the birds of the heavens had fled.
4:26
我觀看，見肥田變為荒野，一切城邑在耶和華面前，在祂烈怒之前，都被拆毀。
I looked, and there was the fruitful land, a wilderness, And all its cities were torn down Before Jehovah, before His burning anger.
4:27
耶和華如此說，全地必然荒涼，我卻不毀滅淨盡。
For thus says Jehovah, The whole land will be a desolation, But I will not make a full end;
4:28
為此，地要悲哀，在上的天也必黑暗；因為我言已出，我意已定；我不後悔，也不轉意不作。
For this the earth will mourn, And the heavens above will be dark; Because I have spoken, I have purposed; And I have not repented, nor will I turn from it.
4:29
各城的人，因馬兵和弓箭手的響聲，就都逃跑，進入叢林，爬上磐石。各城被撇下，無一人住在其中。
At the sound of horsemen and archers Every city flees; They go into the thickets And climb up on the rocks. Every city is forsaken, And not even one inhabits them.
4:30
你這荒涼的阿，你要怎樣行呢？你雖穿上朱紅衣服，佩戴黃金妝飾，用顏料修飾眼目，你美化自己是枉然的；你的愛人藐視你，他們尋索你的性命。
And you, O desolate one, what will you do? Although you dress in scarlet, Although you are adorned with ornaments of gold, Although you enlarge your eyes with paint, In vain do you beautify yourself; Your lovers despise you; They seek your life.
4:31
我聽見有聲音，仿佛婦人產難的聲音，好像生頭胎疼痛的聲音，是錫安女子的聲音；她喘著氣，伸出雙手，說，我有禍了，在殺人者跟前，我的魂發昏了。
For I heard a cry like that of a woman in travail, Anguish like that of a woman bringing forth her first child, The sound of the daughter of Zion gasping for breath; She stretches out her hands, saying, Woe is me, For my soul is fainting before murderers.
5:1
你們當在耶路撒冷的街上，跑來跑去，觀看察知，並在寬闊處尋找，是否有一人施行公理，尋求忠信；若有，我就赦免這城。
Go to and fro in the streets of Jerusalem, And look now and know, And seek in her open squares If you can find a man, If there is anyone who executes justice, Who seeks faithfulness; And I will pardon her.
5:2
他們雖然說，我指著永活的耶和華起誓，其實他們所起的誓是假的。
And although they say, As Jehovah lives, Nevertheless they swear falsely.
5:3
耶和華阿，你的眼目不是看顧忠信麼？你擊打他們，他們卻不傷慟；你毀滅他們，他們卻不受管教。他們使臉剛硬過於磐石，不肯回頭。
O Jehovah, are not Your eyes upon faithfulness? You have stricken them, But they did not writhe; You have consumed them, But they refused to take correction. They have made their faces harder than rock; They have refused to turn.
5:4
我說，這些人實在是貧窮的，是愚昧的；因為他們不曉得耶和華的法則，和他們神的典章。
Then I said, But they are the poor; They are foolish; For they do not know the way of Jehovah, The ordinance of their God.
5:5
我要去見尊大的人，對他們說話；他們必然曉得耶和華的法則，和他們神的典章；但這些人一起將軛折斷，掙開繩索。
I will go to the great And speak with them; Surely these know the way of Jehovah, The ordinance of their God. But together they both have broken the yoke; They have torn off the bonds.
5:6
因此，林中的獅子必襲擊他們，荒地的豺狼必毀滅他們。豹子要窺伺他們的城，凡出城的必被撕碎；因為他們的過犯極多，背道的事也大大加增。
Therefore a lion from the forest will strike them; A wolf of the deserts will destroy them. A leopard is watching their cities; Everyone who goes out from them will be torn in pieces; Because they multiplied their transgressions, And their apostasies are great in number.
5:7
我怎能赦免你呢？你的兒女離棄了我，又指著那不是神的起誓。我使他們飽足，他們就行姦淫，成群的到娼妓家裏。
Why should I pardon you? Your children have forsaken Me And sworn by those who are not gods. When I fed them to the full, they committed adultery And trooped to the house of harlots.
5:8
他們像餧飽的馬，到處亂跑，各向鄰舍的妻子發嘶聲。
Like well-fed horses they roam about, Each one neighing after his neighbor's wife.
5:9
耶和華說，我豈不因這些事討罪呢？我魂豈不報復這樣的國呢？
Shall I not punish because of these things? Declares Jehovah; And on a nation such as this Shall My soul not avenge itself?
5:10
你們要上去，穿過她葡萄樹的行列，施行毀壞；但不可毀壞淨盡，只要除掉她的枝子，因為那些不屬於耶和華。
Go up through her vine rows and destroy, But do not make a full end; Strip away her branches, For they are not Jehovah's.
5:11
原來以色列家和猶大家，對我大行詭詐；這是耶和華說的。
For the house of Israel and the house of Judah Have dealt very treacherously with Me, declares Jehovah.
5:12
他們否認耶和華，說，這並不是祂；災禍必不臨到我們，我們也必不至見到刀劍和饑荒。
They have denied Jehovah And have said, He is not; And evil will not come upon us, Nor will we see sword and famine;
5:13
申言者必成為風，話也不在他們裏面；因此，這災必臨到他們。
And the prophets will become wind, And the word is not in them; Thus it will be done to them.
5:14
所以耶和華萬軍之神如此說，因為他們說這話，我必使我的話，在你口中為火，使這百姓為柴；這火必將他們吞滅。
Therefore thus says Jehovah The God of hosts: Because they have spoken this word, I am now making My words A fire in your mouth, And this people wood; And it will consume them.
5:15
耶和華說，以色列家阿，我必使一國從遠方來攻擊你，是強盛不衰的國，是從古而有的國；這國的言語你不曉得，他們說的話你不明白。
I am now bringing upon you A nation from afar, O house of Israel, declares Jehovah. It is an enduring nation, It is an ancient nation; A nation whose language you do not know, Nor can you understand what they say.
5:16
他們的箭袋，如同敞開的墳墓；他們都是勇士。
Their quiver is like an open grave; All of them are mighty men.
5:17
他們必喫盡你的莊稼和你的糧食，喫盡你的兒女；他們必喫盡你的牛群羊群，喫盡你的葡萄樹和無花果樹；又必用刀毀壞你所倚靠的堅固城。
And they will eat up your harvest and your bread; They will eat up your sons and your daughters; They will eat up your flocks and your herds; They will eat up your vines and your fig trees; They will demolish with the sword your fortified cities, In which you trust.
5:18
耶和華說，甚至到那些日子，我也不將你們毀滅淨盡。
Yet even in those days, declares Jehovah, I will not make a full end of you.
5:19
百姓若說，耶和華我們的神，為甚麼向我們行這一切事呢？你就對他們說，你們怎樣離棄了我，在你們的地上事奉外邦神，也必照樣在不屬你們的地上事奉外邦人。
And when they say, Why has Jehovah our God done all these things to us? you shall say to them, As you have forsaken Me and served foreign gods in your land, so you will serve strangers in a land that is not yours.
5:20
當將這話傳揚在雅各家，報告在猶大家，說，
Declare this in the house of Jacob, And announce it in the house of Judah, saying,
5:21
愚昧無知的百姓阿，你們有眼不看，有耳不聽，現在當聽這話：
Now hear this, O people, who are foolish and without understanding, Who have eyes but do not see, Who have ears but do not hear:
5:22
耶和華說，你們怎麼不懼怕我呢？你們在我面前還不戰兢麼？我以永遠的定例，用沙為界限，使海不得越過。波浪雖然翻騰，卻不能得勝；雖然匉訇，卻不能越過。
Do you not fear Me, declares Jehovah; Do you not tremble at My presence; Who have set the sand as a boundary for the sea By an eternal statute, so it cannot pass over it? Although its waves toss, they cannot prevail; Although they roar, they cannot pass over it.
5:23
但這百姓有頑梗叛逆的心；他們竟偏離我而去。
But this people has a stubborn and rebellious heart; They have turned aside and have gone away.
5:24
他們心裏也不說，我們應當敬畏耶和華我們的神；祂按時賜雨，就是秋雨春雨，又為我們定收割的節令，永存不廢。
And they do not say in their heart, Let us now fear Jehovah our God, who gives us rain, Both the early rain and the late rain, in its season, Who preserves the appointed weeks of the harvest for us.
5:25
你們的罪孽使這些事轉離，你們的罪使你們不能得好處。
Your iniquities have turned these things away, And your sins have withheld from you what is good.
5:26
因為在我民中有惡人，他們好像捕鳥的人埋伏窺探；他們設立圈套捕捉人。
For wicked men are found among My people; They lie in wait like fowlers crouching; They set a trap, They catch men.
5:27
籠內怎樣滿了雀鳥，他們的房中也照樣充滿詭詐；所以他們得成為大，而且富足。
Like a cage full of birds, So their houses are full of deceit; Therefore they have become great and rich.
5:28
他們肥胖光潤，又作惡過甚；他們不為人伸冤，就是不為孤兒伸冤，反倒自己亨通，也不為窮人辨屈。
They are fat; they are sleek; Indeed they surpass in deeds of wickedness; They do not judge the cause, The cause of the orphan, but they prosper; And the right of the needy they do not judge.
5:29
耶和華說，我豈不因這些事討罪呢？我豈不報復這樣的國呢？
Shall I not punish because of these things? Declares Jehovah; And on a nation such as this Shall My soul not avenge itself?
5:30
這地有可驚駭、恐怖的事，
An appalling and horrible thing Has happened in the land:
5:31
就是申言者說假豫言，祭司憑自己的權柄管理；我的百姓也喜愛這樣。但到了結局，你們要怎樣行呢？
The prophets prophesy falsely, And the priests rule by their own authority; And My people love it this way. But what will you do at the end of it?
6:1
便雅憫人哪，你們要逃出耶路撒冷，在提哥亞吹角，在伯哈基琳立號旗；因為有災禍與大毀壞，從北方向下張望。
Seek refuge, O children of Benjamin, From the midst of Jerusalem; And blow the trumpet in Tekoa And raise up a signal on Beth-haccerem; For evil looks down from the north, And great destruction.
6:2
那秀美嬌嫩的錫安女子，我必剪除。
The comely and delicate one, The daughter of Zion, I will cut off.
6:3
牧人必帶他們的羊群到她那裏，在她周圍支搭帳棚，各在自己所佔之地牧養。
Shepherds will come to her With their flocks; They will pitch tents against her all around; They will feed each one in his place.
6:4
你們要準備攻擊她；起來罷，我們可以趁中午上去。我們有禍了，日已漸斜，晚影拖長了。
Prepare war against her; Rise up, and let us go up at noon. Woe to us, for the day has declined, For the shadows of evening are lengthening.
6:5
起來罷，我們可以夜間上去，毀壞她的宮殿。
Rise up, and let us go up at night And destroy her palaces.
6:6
因為萬軍之耶和華如此說，你們要砍伐她的樹木，築壘攻打耶路撒冷。這就是那該受懲罰的城，其中盡是欺壓。
For thus says Jehovah of hosts, Cut down her trees and build up A mound against Jerusalem. This is the city to be punished; In her midst there is only oppression.
6:7
水池怎樣使水清新，這城也照樣在惡上推陳出新；在其間常聽見強暴毀滅的事，病患損傷也常在我面前。
As a cistern keeps its waters fresh, So she has kept her wickedness fresh. Violence and destruction are heard in her; Sickness and wounds are always before Me.
6:8
耶路撒冷阿，你當受警戒，免得我與你生疏，免得我使你荒涼，成為無人居住之地。
Be admonished, O Jerusalem, Lest My desire for you depart, Lest I make you a desolation, An uninhabited land.
6:9
萬軍之耶和華如此說，他們必擄盡以色列餘剩的民，如同摘淨葡萄一樣；你要像摘葡萄的人伸手到枝子上，摘了又摘。
Thus says Jehovah of hosts, They will thoroughly glean like a vine The remnant of Israel; Pass your hand again over the branches Like a grape gatherer.
6:10
現在我可以向誰說話作見證，使他們聽呢？他們的耳朵未受割禮，不能聽見。耶和華的話，他們以為羞辱，不以為喜悅。
To whom shall I speak and testify, That they may hear? Indeed, their ear is uncircumcised, And they are unable to listen. See, the word of Jehovah has become a reproach to them; They have no delight in it.
6:11
因此我被耶和華的忿怒充滿，難以含忍；我要傾倒在街中的孩童和聚集的少年人身上；連夫帶妻，並年老的與日子滿足的，都必被擒拿。
Yet I am full of the wrath of Jehovah; I am weary of holding it in. Pour it out upon the children in the street And upon the assembly of the young men together; For even the husband with the wife will be taken; The old man, with the one who is full of days.
6:12
他們的房屋、田地和妻子，都必轉歸別人；我要伸手攻擊這地的居民；這是耶和華說的。
And their houses will be turned over to others, Fields and wives together; For I will stretch out My hand Over the inhabitants of the land, Declares Jehovah.
6:13
因為他們從最小的到至大的，人人都貪圖不義之財；從申言者到祭司，個個都行事虛謊。
For from the least of them to the greatest of them, Everyone is wresting unjust gain; And from the prophet to the priest, Everyone is dealing falsely.
6:14
他們輕輕忽忽的醫治我百姓的損傷，說，平安了，平安了；其實沒有平安。
And they have healed The brokenness of My people slightly, Saying, Peace, peace; Although there is no peace.
6:15
他們行可憎的事，知道慚愧麼？不然，他們毫不慚愧，也不知羞恥。因此，他們必在仆倒的人中仆倒；我向他們討罪的時候，他們必至跌倒；這是耶和華說的。
Were they ashamed when they committed abomination? They were not at all ashamed; They did not even know to blush. Therefore they will fall with those who fall; At the time I punish them, they will stumble, Says Jehovah.
6:16
耶和華如此說，你們當站在路上察看，訪問古遠的路徑，那一條是善路，便行在其上；你們魂裏就必得安息。他們卻說，我們不行在其上。
Thus says Jehovah, Stand by the ways and see, And ask for the ancient paths; Ask where the good way is, and walk in it; And you will find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk in it.
6:17
我設立守望的人照管你們，說，要聽角聲。他們卻說，我們不聽。
So I set watchmen over you, saying, Listen to the sound of the trumpet. But they said, We will not listen.
6:18
列國阿，因此你們當聽；會眾阿，要知道我必怎樣待他們。
Therefore hear, O nations, And understand, O assembly, What I will do to them.
6:19
地阿，當聽，我必使災禍臨到這百姓，那是他們意念所結的果子，因為他們未曾聽從我的言語，也厭棄了我的律法。
Listen, O earth; I am now bringing evil On this people, The fruit of their thoughts; Because they have not listened to My words, And they have also rejected My law.
6:20
從示巴出的乳香，從遠方出的甜甘蔗，奉來給我有何益呢？你們的燔祭不蒙悅納，你們的平安祭我也不喜悅。
For what purpose does frankincense come to Me from Sheba, And sweet cane from a distant land? Your burnt offerings are not acceptable, And your sacrifices are not pleasing to Me.
6:21
所以耶和華如此說，我要將絆腳石放在這百姓前面，父親和兒子要一同跌在其上；鄰舍與朋友，也都要滅亡。
Therefore thus says Jehovah, I am now laying before this people stumbling blocks, And fathers and sons together Will stumble against them; A neighbor and his friend will perish.
6:22
耶和華如此說，看哪，有一民從北方之地而來，有一大國從地極被激動來到。
Thus says Jehovah, See, a people is coming from the land of the north, And a great nation is stirring from the uttermost parts of the earth.
6:23
他們拿弓和槍，性情殘忍，毫無憐憫；他們的聲音，像海浪匉訇；錫安的女子阿，他們都騎馬擺隊，如上戰場的人來攻擊你。
They grasp bow and spear; They are cruel and have no mercy; Their voice roars like the sea; And they ride upon horses, Set in array as a man for battle Against you, O daughter of Zion.
6:24
我們聽見了這風聲，手就發軟；痛苦將我們抓住，疼痛仿佛臨產的婦人。
We have heard its report; Our hands are feeble; Distress has seized us, Pain like a woman in childbirth.
6:25
你們不要往田野去，也不要行在路上；因仇敵有刀劍，四圍有驚嚇。
Do not go out into the field, And do not walk on the road; For the enemy has a sword; Terror is on every side.
6:26
我的百姓阿，應當腰束麻布，輥在灰中。你要悲傷如喪獨生子，痛痛哭號；因為滅命的要忽然臨到我們。
O daughter of my people, gird yourself in sackcloth And roll in ashes; Mourn as for an only son, A most bitter wailing; For suddenly the destroyer Will come upon us.
6:27
我已立你在我民中為試驗的人，為保障，使你知道並試驗他們所行的路。
I have set you as a trier among My people, as a fortress, That you may know and try their way.
6:28
他們都是極悖逆的，是往來讒謗人的；他們是銅是鐵，都行事敗壞。
All of them are most rebellious, Going about as slanderers; They are brass and iron; All of them act corruptly.
6:29
風箱燒毀；鉛被火燒盡；儘管煉而又煉，終是徒然，因為惡劣的尚未除掉。
The bellows are burned; The lead is consumed by the fire; The refining continues in vain, For the wicked are not removed.
6:30
人必稱他們為被棄的銀渣，因為耶和華已經棄掉他們。
Men will call them rejected silver, Because Jehovah has rejected them.

帖撒羅尼迦後書 2Thessalonians 2:1-3:5
2:1
弟兄們，關於我們主耶穌基督的來臨，和我們聚集到祂那裏，
Now we ask you, brothers, with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him,
2:2
我們求你們，無論有靈、或言語、或冒我們名的書信，說主的日子已經來到，你們的心思都不要貿然搖動，你們也不要驚慌。
That you be not quickly shaken in mind nor alarmed, neither by a spirit nor by word nor by a letter as if by us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come.
2:3
不要讓任何人用任何方法誘騙你們；因為那日子以前，必有背道的事先來，並有那不法的人，就是滅亡之子，顯露出來；
Let no one deceive you in any way, because it will not come unless the apostasy comes first and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of perdition,
2:4
他是那敵對、且高抬自己超過一切稱為神，或受人敬拜者的，甚至坐在神的殿裏，展示自己，說他就是神。
Who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or an object of worship, so that he sits in the temple of God, setting himself forth, saying that he is God.
2:5
我還在你們那裏的時候，曾一再把這些事告訴你們，你們不記得麼？
Do you not remember that while I was still with you, I said these things to you?
2:6
現在你們也知道，那抑制他，使他到了自己的時候，才可以顯露出來的是甚麼。
And now you know that which restrains, so that he might be revealed in his own time.
2:7
因為那不法的奧秘已經發動，只等那現在的抑制者被除去；
For it is the mystery of lawlessness that is now operating, but only until the one now restraining goes out of the way.
2:8
那時這不法者必顯露出來，主耶穌要用祂口中的氣除滅他，並用祂來臨的顯現廢掉他。
And then the lawless one will be revealed (whom the Lord Jesus will slay by the breath of His mouth and bring to nothing by the manifestation of His coming),
2:9
這不法者的來臨，是照著撒但的運行，行各樣的異能、神蹟、和虛謊的奇事，
The coming of whom is according to Satan's operation in all power and signs and wonders of a lie
2:10
並且在那滅亡的人身上，行各樣不義的欺騙；因他們不領受對真理的愛，使他們得救。
And in all deceit of unrighteousness among those who are perishing, because they did not receive the love of the truth that they might be saved.
2:11
所以，神就使錯謬運行在他們裏面，叫他們信從虛謊，
And because of this God sends to them an operation of error that they might believe the lie,
2:12
使一切不信真理，倒喜悅不義的人，都被判罪。
So that all who have not believed the truth but have taken pleasure in unrighteousness might be judged.
2:13
主所愛的弟兄們，我們應當常為你們感謝神，因為祂從起初揀選了你們，叫你們藉著那靈的聖別，並你們對真理的信，可以得救。
But we ought to thank God always concerning you, brothers beloved of the Lord, because God chose you from the beginning unto salvation in sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth,
2:14
神藉著我們所傳的福音，也呼召你們到這地步，好得著我們主耶穌基督的榮耀。
To which also He called you through our gospel unto the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
2:15
所以弟兄們，要站立得住，凡你們受教所得的傳授，無論是口傳的，或是我們信上寫的，都要持守。
So then, brothers, stand firm and hold to the things which were handed down to you and which you were taught, whether by word or by our letter.
2:16
但願我們的主耶穌基督自己，和神我們的父，就是那愛我們，在恩典中將永遠的安慰和美好的盼望賜給我們的，
Now our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God our Father, who has loved us and given us eternal comfort and good hope in grace,
2:17
安慰你們的心，並在一切善行善言上，堅固你們。
Comfort your hearts and establish you in every good work and word.
3:1
末了的話，弟兄們，請你們為我們禱告，好叫主的話快快傳開，且得榮耀，正如在你們中間一樣；
Finally, brothers, pray concerning us, that the word of the Lord may run and be glorified, even as it is also with you;
3:2
並叫我們蒙拯救，脫離不講理的惡人，因為人不都有信心。
And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and evil men, for the faith does not belong to all.
3:3
但主是信實的，祂要堅固你們，並保護你們脫離那惡者。
But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one.
3:4
關於你們，我們在主裏深信，你們現在是遵行我們所囑咐的，將來也必要遵行。
And we have confidence in the Lord concerning you that what we charge, you both are doing and will do.
3:5
願主修直你們心中的途徑，引導你們的心，進入神的愛以愛神，並進入基督的忍耐以忍耐。
And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the endurance of Christ.
