13:1
大衛與千夫長、百夫長，就是一切首領商議。
And David took counsel with the captains of the thousands and of the hundreds, with every leader.
13:2
大衛對以色列全會眾說，你們若以為美，若這事是出於耶和華我們的神，我們就差遣人走遍以色列地，見我們留在各地的弟兄們，又見和他們一起住在有郊野之城的祭司和利未人，使他們都聚集到我們這裏。
And David said to all the congregation of Israel, If it seems good to you, and it is from Jehovah our God, let us send far and wide to our brothers who remain in all the land of Israel and to the priests and the Levites who are with them in their cities with pasture lands, that they may gather themselves to us.
13:3
我們要把我們神的約櫃運回我們這裏，因為當掃羅在位的日子，我們沒有在約櫃前求問神。
And let us bring back the Ark of our God to ourselves, for we did not inquire of it in the days of Saul.
13:4
全會眾都說，可以如此行；這事眾民都看為對。
And all the congregation said that they would do so, for the matter was right in the sight of all the people.
13:5
於是大衛將以色列眾人，從埃及的西曷河直到哈馬口，都招聚了來，要從基列耶琳將神的約櫃運來。
And David gathered all Israel together from the Shihor of Egypt even to the entrance of Hamath to bring the Ark of God from Kiriath-jearim.
13:6
大衛率領以色列眾人上到巴拉，就是屬猶大的基列耶琳，要從那裏將那坐在二基路伯中間之耶和華神的約櫃運上來；這櫃是以耶和華神的名起名的。
And David went up with all Israel to Baalah, that is, to Kiriath-jearim, which is Judah's, to bring up from there the Ark of God, of Jehovah, who sits enthroned between the cherubim, which is called by the Name;
13:7
他們將神的約櫃放在新車上，從亞比拿達的家裏運走；烏撒和亞希約趕車。
And they set the Ark of God upon a new cart from the house of Abinadab, and Uzzah and Ahio drove the cart.
13:8
大衛和以色列眾人在神面前，用琴、瑟、鼓、鈸、號作樂，極力跳舞歌唱。
And David and all Israel played before God with all their strength, even with songs and with lyres and with harps and with tambourines and with cymbals and with trumpets.
13:9
到了基頓的禾場，因為牛閃前蹄，烏撒就伸手扶住約櫃。
And when they came to Chidon's threshing floor, Uzzah stretched out his hand to take hold of the Ark; for the oxen had stumbled.
13:10
耶和華向烏撒發怒，因他伸手扶住約櫃而擊殺他，他就當場死在神面前。
And the anger of Jehovah was kindled against Uzzah, and He struck him because he stretched out his hand to the Ark; and he died there before God.
13:11
大衛因耶和華突然擊殺烏撒，就惱怒，稱那地方為毘列斯烏撒，直到今日。
And David was angry because Jehovah had broken forth with an outburst upon Uzzah, and he called that place Perez-uzzah, as it is to this day.
13:12
那日，大衛懼怕神，說，我怎可將神的約櫃運到我這裏來？
And David was afraid of God that day, saying, How shall I bring the Ark of God to myself?
13:13
於是大衛不將約櫃搬到大衛城他那裏，卻轉運到迦特人俄別以東的家中。
So David did not remove the Ark to himself to the city of David, but he carried it aside into the house of Obed-edom the Gittite.
13:14
神的約櫃在俄別以東家中，與他的家同在三個月，耶和華賜福給俄別以東的家，和他一切所有的。
And the Ark of God remained with the house of Obed-edom in his house three months, and Jehovah blessed the house of Obed-edom and all that he had.
14:1
推羅王希蘭差遣使者來見大衛，並且將香柏木和石匠、木匠送來，要給他建造宮殿。
And Hiram the king of Tyre sent messengers to David, as well as cedar timbers and masons and carpenters to build a house for him.
14:2
大衛就知道耶和華已經堅立他作以色列王，並且因耶和華的民以色列的緣故，他的國已大大被高舉。
And David perceived that Jehovah had established him as king over Israel and that his kingdom was highly exalted for the sake of His people Israel.
14:3
大衛在耶路撒冷又娶了好些後妃，生了兒子和女兒。
And David took more wives in Jerusalem, and David begot more sons and daughters.
14:4
他在耶路撒冷所生的兒子，名字是沙母亞、朔罷、拿單、所羅門、
And these are the names of those who were born, whom he had in Jerusalem: Shammua and Shobab and Nathan and Solomon
14:5
益轄、以利書亞、以法列、
And Ibhar and Elishua and Elpelet
14:6
挪迦、尼斐、雅非亞、
And Nogah and Nepheg and Japhia
14:7
以利沙瑪、比利雅大、以利法列。
And Elishama and Beeliada and Eliphelet.
14:8
非利士人聽見大衛受膏作全以色列的王，非利士眾人就上來尋索大衛；大衛聽見，就出去迎擊他們。
Now when the Philistines heard that David was anointed king over all Israel, all the Philistines went up in search of David; and David heard of it and went out against them.
14:9
非利士人來了，侵奪利乏音穀。
And the Philistines came and made a raid in the valley of Rephaim.
14:10
大衛求問神說，我可以上去攻打非利士人麼？你會將他們交在我手裏麼？耶和華對他說，你上去罷，我必將他們交在你手裏。
Then David inquired of God, saying, Shall I go up against the Philistines? Will You deliver them into my hand? And Jehovah said to him, Go up, and I will deliver them into your hand.
14:11
非利士人上到巴力毘拉心，大衛在那裏擊殺他們。大衛說，神藉我的手衝破敵人，如同水衝破堤岸一般。因此人給那地方起名叫巴力毘拉心。
And they went up to Baal-perazim, and David struck them there. And David said, God has broken forth upon my enemies by my hand like the breaking forth of a flood. Therefore they called the name of that place Baal-perazim.
14:12
非利士人將他們的神像撇在那裏，大衛吩咐人用火焚燒了。
And they left their gods there; and David gave the order, and they were burned with fire.
14:13
非利士人又侵奪利乏音谷。
And the Philistines made yet another raid in the valley.
14:14
大衛求問神；神對他說，不要直接上去攻擊，要繞到他們後頭，從桑樹林對面攻打他們。
And David inquired again of God, and God said to him, You shall not go up after them; go around behind them, and come upon them opposite the balsam trees.
14:15
你聽見桑樹梢上有腳步的聲音，就要出戰，因為神已經在你前頭去攻打非利士人的軍隊。
And when you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the balsam trees, then you shall go out to battle; for God will have gone forth before you to strike the army of the Philistines.
14:16
大衛就照神所吩咐的去行；他們擊殺非利士人的軍隊，從基遍直到基色。
And David did as God had commanded him, and they struck down the army of the Philistines from Gibeon even unto Gezer.
14:17
於是大衛的名聲傳到各地，耶和華使列國都懼怕他。
And David's fame went forth among all the lands, and Jehovah put the fear of him upon all the nations.
15:1
大衛在大衛城為自己建造宮殿，又為神的約櫃豫備地方，支搭帳幕。
And David made houses for himself in the city of David, and he prepared a place for the Ark of God and pitched a tent for it.
15:2
那時大衛說，除了利未人之外，無人可抬神的約櫃；因為耶和華揀選他們抬耶和華的約櫃，且永遠事奉祂。
Then David said, None should bear the Ark of God except the Levites, for Jehovah has chosen them to bear the Ark of Jehovah and to minister to Him forever.
15:3
大衛招聚以色列眾人到耶路撒冷，要將耶和華的約櫃抬上去，到他所豫備的地方。
So David assembled all Israel at Jerusalem in order to bring up the Ark of Jehovah to its place, which he had prepared for it.
15:4
大衛又聚集亞倫的子孫和利未人。
And David gathered the sons of Aaron and the Levites:
15:5
哥轄子孫中有首領烏列，和他的弟兄一百二十人。
Of the sons of Kohath, Uriel the leader, and his brothers, one hundred twenty;
15:6
米拉利子孫中有首領亞帥雅，和他的弟兄二百二十人。
Of the sons of Merari, Asaiah the leader, and his brothers, two hundred twenty;
15:7
革順子孫中有首領約珥，和他的弟兄一百三十人。
Of the sons of Gershom, Joel the leader, and his brothers, one hundred thirty;
15:8
以利撒反子孫中有首領示瑪雅，和他的弟兄二百人。
Of the sons of Elizaphan, Shemaiah the leader, and his brothers, two hundred;
15:9
希伯崙子孫中有首領以列，和他的弟兄八十人。
Of the sons of Hebron, Eliel the leader, and his brothers, eighty;
15:10
烏薛子孫中有首領亞米拿達，和他的弟兄一百一十二人。
Of the sons of Uzziel, Amminadab the leader, and his brothers, one hundred twelve.
15:11
大衛將祭司撒督和亞比亞他，並利未人烏列、亞帥雅、約珥、示瑪雅、以列、亞米拿達召來，
And David called for Zadok and Abiathar the priests and the Levites, for Uriel, Asaiah and Joel, Shemaiah and Eliel and Amminadab;
15:12
對他們說，你們是利未人宗族的首領，你們和你們的弟兄應當使自己分別為聖，好將耶和華以色列神的約櫃抬上來，到我所豫備的地方。
And he said to them, You are the heads of the fathers' houses of the Levites; sanctify yourselves, you and your brothers, and bring up the Ark of Jehovah the God of Israel to the place that I have prepared for it.
15:13
先前因為你們沒有抬這約櫃，耶和華我們的神就突然擊殺我們，因我們沒有按定例求問祂。
For because you did not bring it up the first time, Jehovah our God broke forth upon us; for we did not seek Him according to the ordinance.
15:14
於是祭司和利未人使自己分別為聖，好將耶和華以色列神的約櫃抬上來。
So the priests and the Levites sanctified themselves in order to bring up the Ark of Jehovah the God of Israel.
15:15
利未子孫就用槓，肩抬神的約櫃，是照耶和華的話，正如摩西所吩咐的。
And the sons of the Levites bore the Ark of God as Moses had commanded, according to the word of Jehovah, upon their shoulders with the poles upon them.
15:16
大衛吩咐利未人的首領，派他們的弟兄作歌唱的，用琴、瑟和響鈸等樂器作樂，歡歡喜喜的揚聲歌頌。
And David told the leaders of the Levites to appoint their brothers as singers with musical instruments-harps, lyres, loud-sounding cymbals-to raise sounds of joy.
15:17
於是利未人派約珥的兒子希幔，和他弟兄中比利家的兒子亞薩，並他們族弟兄米拉利子孫裏古沙雅的兒子以探。
So the Levites appointed Heman the son of Joel; and of his brothers, Asaph the son of Berechiah; and of the sons of Merari their brothers, Ethan the son of Kushaiah;
15:18
和他們在一起的，還有他們的弟兄作第二班，就是撒迦利雅、雅薛、示米拉末、耶歇、烏尼、以利押、比拿雅、瑪西雅、瑪他提雅、以利斐利戶、彌克尼雅，並守門的俄別以東和耶利。
And with them their brothers of the second order: Zechariah, and Jaaziel, and Shemiramoth and Jehiel and Unni, Eliab and Benaiah and Maaseiah and Mattithiah and Eliphelehu and Mikneiah, and Obed- edom and Jeiel, the doorkeepers.
15:19
這樣，歌唱的希幔、亞薩、以探敲銅鈸，大發響聲；
So the singers, Heman, Asaph, and Ethan, were appointed to sound aloud with bronze cymbals;
15:20
撒迦利雅、雅薛、示米拉末、耶歇、烏尼、以利押、瑪西雅、比拿雅鼓瑟，調用女音；
And Zechariah and Aziel and Shemiramoth and Jehiel and Unni and Eliab and Maaseiah and Benaiah with harps set to alamoth;
15:21
瑪他提雅、以利斐利戶、彌克尼雅、俄別以東、耶利、亞撒西雅領首彈琴，調用第八音。
And Mattithiah and Eliphelehu and Mikneiah and Obed-edom and Jeiel and Azaziah were appointed to lead with lyres set to sheminith.
15:22
利未人的首領基拿尼雅管理歌唱的事，又訓練人歌唱，因為他精通此事。
And Chenaniah, the leader of the Levites, was over the song; he instructed about the song, because he was skillful.
15:23
比利家、以利加拿是為約櫃守門的。
And Berechiah and Elkanah were doorkeepers for the Ark.
15:24
祭司示巴尼、約沙法、拿坦業、亞瑪賽、撒迦利雅、比拿亞、以利以謝在神的約櫃前吹號；俄別以東和耶希亞也是為約櫃守門的。
And Shebaniah and Joshaphat and Nethanel and Amasai and Zechariah and Benaiah and Eliezer, the priests, blew the trumpets before the Ark of God; and Obed-edom and Jehiah were doorkeepers for the Ark.
15:25
於是大衛和以色列的長老並千夫長，都去從俄別以東的家，歡歡喜喜的將耶和華的約櫃抬上來。
So David and the elders of Israel and the captains of thousands went to bring up the Ark of the Covenant of Jehovah from the house of Obed-edom with rejoicing.
15:26
神幫助抬耶和華約櫃的利未人，他們就獻上七隻公牛和七隻公羊。
And because God helped the Levites who bore the Ark of the Covenant of Jehovah, they sacrificed seven bulls and seven rams.
15:27
大衛和所有抬約櫃的利未人，並歌唱的人，以及歌唱人的首領基拿尼雅，都穿著細麻布的外袍；大衛另外穿著細麻布的以弗得。
And David was clothed with a fine linen robe, as were all the Levites who bore the Ark and the singers and Chenaniah, the song leader of the singers; and David had on a linen ephod.
15:28
這樣，以色列眾人歡呼吹角、吹號、敲鈸，鼓瑟彈琴大發響聲，將耶和華的約櫃抬上來。
So all Israel brought up the Ark of the Covenant of Jehovah with shouting and with the sound of the horn and with trumpets and with cymbals, sounding aloud with harps and lyres.
15:29
耶和華的約櫃進了大衛城的時候，掃羅的女兒米甲從窗戶往下觀看，見大衛王踴躍跳舞，心裏就藐視他。
And when the Ark of the Covenant of Jehovah came to the city of David, Michal the daughter of Saul looked down through a window and saw King David dancing and playing; and she despised him in her heart.
16:1
眾人將神的約櫃抬進去，安放在大衛為約櫃所搭的帳棚裏，就在神面前獻燔祭和平安祭。
And they brought the Ark of God and set it in the midst of the tent that David had pitched for it. And they offered up burnt offerings and peace offerings before God.
16:2
大衛獻完了燔祭和平安祭，就在耶和華的名裏給百姓祝福，
And when David finished offering up the burnt offerings and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of Jehovah.
16:3
並且分給以色列人，無論男女，每人一個餅、一塊肉、一個葡萄餅。
And he apportioned to everyone of Israel, to both men and women, to each one, a cake of bread and a portion of meat and a cake of raisins.
16:4
大衛派幾個利未人在耶和華的約櫃前事奉，頌揚、稱謝、讚美耶和華以色列的神：
And he appointed some of the Levites as ministers before the Ark of Jehovah and to commemorate and thank and praise Jehovah the God of Israel:
16:5
為首的是亞薩，其次是撒迦利雅；雅薛、示米拉末、耶歇、瑪他提雅、以利押、比拿雅、俄別以東、耶利，鼓瑟彈琴；惟有亞薩敲鈸，大發響聲；
Asaph the chief; and second to him Zechariah; Jeiel and Shemiramoth and Jehiel and Mattithiah and Eliab and Benaiah and Obed-edom and Jeiel, with harps and with lyres; and Asaph sounding aloud with cymbals;
16:6
祭司比拿雅和雅哈悉常在神的約櫃前吹號。
And Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests with trumpets continually before the Ark of the Covenant of God.
16:7
那日那時，大衛初次託付亞薩和他的弟兄以詩歌稱謝耶和華，說，
On that day, at that time, David first ordained the giving of thanks to Jehovah by the hand of Asaph and his brothers.
16:8
你們要稱謝耶和華，呼求祂的名，在萬民中傳揚祂的作為。
Give thanks to Jehovah; call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples.
16:9
要向祂唱詩、歌頌，談論祂一切奇妙的作為。
Sing to Him; sing psalms to Him; Muse upon all His wondrous deeds.
16:10
要因祂的聖名誇耀；尋求耶和華的人，心中應當喜樂。
Glory in His holy name; Let the heart of those who seek Jehovah rejoice.
16:11
要尋求耶和華與祂的能力，時常尋求祂的面。
Seek Jehovah and His strength; Seek His face continually.
16:12
祂僕人以色列的後裔，祂所揀選雅各的子孫哪，你們要記念祂所行奇妙的作為，和祂的奇事，並祂口中的判語。
Remember His wondrous deeds, which He has done, His signs and the judgments of His mouth,
16:13（12，13節合併）
O seed of Israel His servant, O children of Jacob, His chosen ones.
16:14
祂是耶和華我們的神，全地都有祂的判斷。
He is Jehovah our God; His judgments are in all the earth.
16:15
你們要記念祂的約，直到永遠；記念祂所吩咐的話，直到千代，
Remember His covenant forever, The word that He commanded to a thousand generations,
16:16
就是祂與亞伯拉罕所立的約，向以撒所起的誓。
The covenant that He made with Abraham, And His oath unto Isaac.
16:17
祂又將這約向雅各確立為律例，向以色列確立為永遠的約，
And He confirmed it unto Jacob as a statute, Unto Israel as an eternal covenant,
16:18
說，我必將迦南地賜給你，作你們產業的分。
Saying, To you I will give the land of Canaan, The portion of your inheritance;
16:19
當時你們人數有限，非常稀少，並且在那地為寄居的；
When you were men few in number, Indeed very few and strangers in the land;
16:20
他們從這邦遊到那邦，從這國行到那國。
And they went about from nation to nation, And from one kingdom to another people.
16:21
耶和華不容甚麼人欺壓他們，為他們的緣故責備君王，
He allowed no man to oppress them; Indeed He rebuked kings for their sake.
16:22
說，不可觸犯我所膏的人，也不可加害我的申言者。
Saying, Do not touch My anointed ones, And do My prophets no harm.
16:23
全地都要向耶和華歌唱，天天傳揚祂的救恩。
Sing to Jehovah all the earth; Proclaim His salvation from day to day.
16:24
要在列邦中述說祂的榮耀，在萬民中述說祂的奇事。
Declare His glory among the nations, His wondrous deeds among all the peoples.
16:25
因耶和華為大，當受極大的讚美；祂在萬神之上當受敬畏。
For Jehovah is great and much to be praised, And He is to be feared above all gods.
16:26
眾民的神都屬虛無，惟獨耶和華造作諸天。
For all the gods of the peoples are idols, But Jehovah made the heavens.
16:27
有尊榮和威嚴在祂面前，有能力和喜樂在祂聖所。
Majesty and splendor are before Him; Strength and gladness are in His place.
16:28
眾民中的各族阿，你們要將榮耀能力歸給耶和華，都歸給耶和華；
Ascribe to Jehovah, O families of the peoples, Ascribe to Jehovah, glory and strength;
16:29
要將耶和華的名所當得的榮耀歸給祂，拿著供物到祂面前來。當以聖別的妝飾敬拜耶和華；
Ascribe to Jehovah the glory of His name; Bring an offering, and come before Him. Worship Jehovah in holy splendor;
16:30
全地要在祂面前戰抖。祂使世界堅立，不致動搖。
Tremble before Him, all the earth. Indeed the world has been established; it will not be moved;
16:31
願天喜樂，願地歡騰；願人在列邦中說，耶和華作王了！
Let the heavens rejoice and the earth be glad; And let them say among the nations, Jehovah reigns!
16:32
願海和其中所充滿的澎湃；願田和其中所有的都歡樂；
Let the sea and its fullness roar; Let the field and all that is in it exult;
16:33
那時，林中的樹木都要在耶和華面前歡唱，因為祂來要審判這地。
Then the trees of the forest will sing for joy Before Jehovah, for He is coming To judge the earth.
16:34
應當稱謝耶和華，因祂本為善，祂的慈愛永遠長存；
Give thanks to Jehovah, for He is good, For His lovingkindness is forever;
16:35
要說，拯救我們的神阿，求你救我們，聚集我們，使我們脫離列邦，我們好稱謝你的聖名，以讚美你為誇耀。
And say, Save us, O God of our salvation; And gather us and deliver us out of the nations, That we may give thanks to Your holy name, That we may glory in Your praise.
16:36
耶和華以色列的神，從亙古直到永遠，是當受頌讚的。眾百姓都說，阿們，並且讚美耶和華。
Blessed be Jehovah the God of Israel, From eternity to eternity. And all the people said, Amen, and praised Jehovah.
16:37
大衛將亞薩和他的弟兄們留在那裏，就是耶和華的約櫃前，使他們按每日的職分，在約櫃前不斷事奉；
So there before the Ark of the Covenant of Jehovah he left Asaph and his brothers to minister before the Ark continually, as every day's work dictated;
16:38
又留下俄別以東和他的族弟兄六十八人，與耶杜頓的兒子俄別以東，並何薩作守門的；
As well as Obed-edom and his sixty- eight relatives, with Obed-edom the son of Jeduthun and Hosah as gatekeepers;
16:39
且留下祭司撒督和他弟兄眾祭司在基遍的邱壇，耶和華的帳幕前，
And Zadok the priest and his brothers the priests before the tabernacle of Jehovah in the high place which was at Gibeon,
16:40
好在燔祭壇上，每日早晚，照著一切寫在耶和華律法書上，祂所吩咐以色列人的，常給耶和華獻燔祭。
To offer up burnt offerings to Jehovah upon the burnt offering altar continually every morning and every evening, according to all that was written in the law of Jehovah, which He commanded Israel.
16:41
與他們一同被留下的有希幔、耶杜頓、和其餘被選名字錄在冊上的人，稱謝耶和華，因祂的慈愛永遠長存。
And with them were Heman and Jeduthun and the rest of those who had been chosen, who had been mentioned by name, to give thanks to Jehovah, for His lovingkindness endures forever.
16:42
希幔、耶杜頓同著他們吹號、敲鈸，大發響聲，並用別的樂器隨著歌頌神；耶杜頓的子孫作守門的。
And with them were Heman and Jeduthun with trumpets and cymbals for those who were to sound aloud and with instruments for the songs of God, and the sons of Jeduthun were to be at the gate.
16:43
於是眾百姓各歸各家；大衛也回去為家眷祝福。
And all the people, each one, departed to his house; and David returned to bless his house.

使徒行傳 Acts 2:1-13
2:1
五旬節那天到了，門徒都聚集在一處。
And as the day of Pentecost was being fulfilled, they were all together in the same place.
2:2
忽然從天上有響聲下來，好像一陣暴風刮過，充滿了他們所坐的整個屋子。
And suddenly there was a sound out of heaven, as of a rushing violent wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.
2:3
又有舌頭如火焰向他們顯現出來，分開落在他們各人身上，
And there appeared to them tongues as of fire, which were distributed; and it sat on each one of them;
2:4
他們就都被聖靈充溢，並且按著那靈所賜的發表，用別種不同的語言說起話來。
And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in different tongues, even as the Spirit gave to them to speak forth.
2:5
那時，有猶太人，就是從天下各國來的虔誠人，住在耶路撒冷。
Now there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men, from every nation under heaven.
2:6
這聲音一響，許多人都來在一起，各人因聽見門徒用聽眾各人的本地話講論，就感困惑。
And when this sound occurred, the multitude came together and was confounded because each one heard them speaking in his own dialect.
2:7
他們都驚訝希奇，說，看哪，這些說話的不都是加利利人麼？
And they were amazed and marveled, saying, Behold, are not all these who are speaking Galileans?
2:8
我們各人怎麼聽見他們說我們生來所用的本地話？
And how is it that we each hear them in our own dialect in which we were born?
2:9
我們帕提亞人、瑪代人、以攔人、和住在米所波大米、猶太、加帕多家、本都、亞西亞、
Parthians and Medes and Elamites and those dwelling in Mesopotamia, both in Judea and Cappadocia, in Pontus and Asia,
2:10
弗呂家、旁非利亞、埃及的人，並靠近古利奈的呂彼亞一帶地方的人，以及旅居的羅馬人，或是猶太人，或是入猶太教的人，
Both in Phrygia and Pamphylia, in Egypt and the parts of Libya around Cyrene, and the sojourning of Rome, both Jews and proselytes,

And they were all amazed and perplexed, saying to one another, What does this mean?

還有人譏誚說，他們無非是被新酒灌滿了。
