20:1
第七年五月初十日，有以色列的幾個長老來求問耶和華，坐在我面前。
Now in the seventh year, in the fifth month, on the tenth of the month, some of the elders of Israel came to inquire of Jehovah, and they sat before me.
20:2
耶和華的話臨到我，說，
Then the word of Jehovah came to me, saying,
20:3
人子阿，你要告訴以色列的長老說，主耶和華如此說，你們來是求問我麼？主耶和華說，我指著我的生存起誓，我必不被你們求問。
Son of man, speak to the elders of Israel and say to them, Thus says the Lord Jehovah, Have you come to inquire of Me? As I live, I will not be inquired of by you, declares the Lord Jehovah.
20:4
人子阿，你要審問審問他們麼？你當使他們知道他們列祖那些可憎的事，
Will you judge them, will you judge, son of man? Make them know the abominations of their fathers,
20:5
對他們說，主耶和華如此說，當日我揀選以色列，向雅各家的後裔舉手起誓，在埃及地使他們認識我，說，我是耶和華你們的神；
And say to them, Thus says the Lord Jehovah, On the day when I chose Israel and lifted up My hand to the seed of the house of Jacob and made Myself known to them in the land of Egypt; when I lifted up My hand to them, saying, I am Jehovah your God;
20:6
那日我向他們舉手起誓，要領他們出埃及地，到我為他們探察過的流奶與蜜之地；那地是全地的榮耀。
On that day I lifted up My hand to them to bring them out of the land of Egypt to a land that I had spied out for them, flowing with milk and honey, which is the glory of all the lands.
20:7
我對他們說，你們各人要拋棄眼中所喜愛那些可憎之物，不可因埃及的偶像玷污自己；我是耶和華你們的神。
And I said to them, Cast away, each of you, the detestable things of your eyes, and do not defile yourselves with the idols of Egypt; I am Jehovah your God.
20:8
他們卻悖逆我，不肯聽從我；各人不拋棄眼中所喜愛那些可憎之物，也不離棄埃及的偶像。我就說，我要將我的忿怒傾倒在他們身上，在埃及地向他們發盡我的怒氣。
But they rebelled against Me and were not willing to listen to Me; they did not, each one, cast away the detestable things of their eyes, nor did they forsake the idols of Egypt. Thus I thought to pour out My wrath upon them and to spend My anger on them in the midst of the land of Egypt.
20:9
我卻為我名的緣故行事，免得我的名在他們處於其中的列國人眼前被褻瀆；我在這列國人的眼前使他們認識我，為要領他們出埃及地。
But I did something for My name's sake that it might not be profaned in the sight of the nations, in the midst of whom they were, in whose sight I had made Myself known to them in order to bring them out of the land of Egypt.
20:10
這樣，我就使他們出埃及地，領他們進入曠野，
Therefore I caused them to go forth from the land of Egypt, and I brought them into the wilderness.
20:11
將我的律例賜給他們，將我的典章指示他們；人若遵行這些，就必因這些活著。
And I gave them My statutes and made known to them My judgments, by which, if a man does them, he will live.
20:12
又將我的安息日賜給他們，好在我與他們中間作記號，叫他們知道我是那使他們分別為聖的耶和華。
And also I gave them My Sabbaths to be a sign between Me and them, that they might know that I am Jehovah who sanctifies them.
20:13
以色列家卻在曠野悖逆我，不遵行我的律例，棄絕我的典章；(人若遵行這些，就必因這些活著；)他們大大瀆犯我的安息日。我就說，我要在曠野將我的忿怒傾倒在他們身上，滅絕他們。
But the house of Israel rebelled against Me in the wilderness; they did not walk in My statutes, and they rejected My judgments, by which, if a man does them, he will live; and they greatly profaned My Sabbaths. Then I thought to pour out My wrath upon them in the wilderness, to consume them.
20:14
我卻為我名的緣故行事，免得我的名在列國人眼前被褻瀆；我曾在列國人眼前領他們出來。
But I did something for My name's sake that it might not be profaned in the sight of the nations, in whose sight I had caused them to go forth.
20:15
並且我在曠野也向他們舉手起誓，必不領他們進入我所賜給他們流奶與蜜之地；(那地是全地的榮耀；)
Yet I also lifted up My hand to them in the wilderness that I would not bring them into the land that I had given them, a land flowing with milk and honey, which is the glory of all the lands;
20:16
因為他們棄絕我的典章，不遵行我的律例，瀆犯我的安息日，他們的心隨從自己的偶像。
Because they rejected My judgments and did not walk in My statutes and profaned My Sabbaths, for their heart went after idols.
20:17
然而，我眼仍顧惜他們，不毀滅他們，不在曠野將他們滅絕淨盡。
But My eye pitied them, so that I did not destroy them, and I did not bring them to their end in the wilderness.
20:18
我在曠野對他們的兒女說，不要遵行你們父親的律例，不要謹守他們的規例，也不要因他們的偶像玷污自己。
And I said to their children in the wilderness, Do not walk in the statutes of your fathers or keep their judgments, and do not defile yourselves with their idols.
20:19
我是耶和華你們的神；你們要遵行我的律例，謹守遵行我的典章；
I am Jehovah your God; walk in My statutes and keep My judgments and do them;
20:20
且將我的安息日分別為聖，這日在我與你們中間作記號，叫你們知道我是耶和華你們的神。
And sanctify My Sabbaths, and they will be a sign between Me and you, that you might know that I am Jehovah your God.
20:21
只是他們的兒女悖逆我，不遵行我的律例，也不謹守遵行我的典章；(人若遵行這些，就必因這些活著；)他們瀆犯我的安息日。我就說，我要將我的忿怒傾倒在他們身上，在曠野向他們發盡我的怒氣。
But the children rebelled against Me; they did not walk in My statutes and they were not careful to do My judgments, by which, if a man does them, he will live; they profaned My Sabbaths. Then I thought to pour out My wrath upon them to spend My anger on them in the wilderness.
20:22
然而，我卻縮手，為我名的緣故行事，免得我的名在列國人眼前被褻瀆；我曾在列國人眼前領他們出來。
Yet I withdrew My hand and did something for My name's sake that it might not be profaned in the sight of the nations, in whose sight I had brought them out.
20:23
我在曠野也向他們舉手起誓，必將他們分散在列國，四散在各地；
I also lifted up My hand to them in the wilderness that I would scatter them among the nations and would disperse them among the countries,
20:24
因為他們不遵行我的典章，竟棄絕我的律例，瀆犯我的安息日，眼目追隨他們父親的偶像。
Because they did not do My judgments, but rejected My statutes and profaned My Sabbaths, and their eyes were directed to the idols of their fathers.
20:25
我也給他們不美的律例，以及不能使人活著的典章；
And I also gave them statutes that were not good and judgments by which they would not live,
20:26
因他們將一切頭胎的經火，我就因他們這供獻的事定他們為不潔淨，好叫他們淒涼，使他們知道我是耶和華。
And I declared them unclean because of their gifts, in that they caused everything that opens the womb to pass through fire, that I might make them desolate so that they would know that I am Jehovah.
20:27
因此，人子阿，你要告訴以色列家，說，主耶和華如此說，你們的列祖在以下的事上還是對我不忠信，褻瀆我：
Therefore speak to the house of Israel, son of man, and say to them, Thus says the Lord Jehovah, Still yet in this your fathers blasphemed Me by acting unfaithfully against Me:
20:28
我領他們到了我舉手起誓要賜給他們的地，他們看見各高山、各茂密樹，就在那裏獻祭，奉上惹我發怒的供物，也在那裏獻怡爽香氣的祭，並澆上奠祭。
When I had brought them into the land which I had lifted up My hand to give them, they saw every high hill and every leafy tree; and there they offered their sacrifices, and there they presented the provocation of their offering, and there they made their sweet savor, and there they poured out their drink offerings.
20:29
我就對他們說，你們所到的那高處是甚麼呢？於是那高處的名字叫巴麻，直到今日。
Then I said to them, What is the high place to which you go? Therefore the name of it is called Bamah to this day.
20:30
所以你要對以色列家說，主耶和華如此說，你們仍照你們列祖所行的玷污自己麼？仍照他們可憎的事行邪淫麼？
Therefore say to the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord Jehovah, Do you defile yourselves in the way of your fathers? And do you go about as a harlot after their detestable things?
20:31
你們奉上供物使你們兒子經火的時候，就因一切偶像玷污自己，直到今日。以色列家阿，我豈被你們求問麼？主耶和華說，我指著我的生存起誓，我必不被你們求問。
And when you offer up your gifts, when you make your children pass through fire, you defile yourselves with all your idols until today. And shall I be inquired of by you, O house of Israel? As I live, declares the Lord Jehovah, I will not be inquired of by you.
20:32
你們說，我們要像列國人和各地的各家族一樣，去事奉木頭與石頭；你們靈裏所起的這意念絕不能成就。
And that which comes up in your spirit shall by no means occur, that which you say, We will be like the nations, like the families of the countries, serving wood and stone.
20:33
主耶和華說，我指著我的生存起誓，我總要作王，用大能的手和伸出來的膀臂，並傾倒出來的忿怒，治理你們。
As I live, declares the Lord Jehovah, surely with a strong hand and with an outstretched arm and with wrath poured out I will rule over you.
20:34
我必用大能的手和伸出來的膀臂，並傾倒出來的忿怒，將你們從萬民中領出來，從你們分散到的各地聚集你們。
And I will bring you out from the peoples and will gather you from the countries among which you have been scattered, with a strong hand and with an outstretched arm and with wrath poured out.
20:35
我必帶你們進入眾民的曠野，在那裏當面審判你們。
And I will bring you into the wilderness of the peoples, and I will enter into judgment with you there face to face.
20:36
我怎樣在埃及地的曠野審判你們的列祖，也必照樣審判你們；這是主耶和華說的。
As I entered into judgment with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so will I enter into judgment with you, declares the Lord Jehovah.
20:37
我必使你們從杖下經過，使你們受約的拘束。
And I will cause you to pass under the rod and will bring you into the bond of the covenant.
20:38
我必從你們中間除淨叛逆和違背我的人，將他們從寄居的地領出來，他們卻不得入以色列地。你們就知道我是耶和華。
And I will purge out from among you the rebels and those who transgress against Me; I will bring them out from the land of their sojourning, but not one will enter into the land of Israel. Thus you will know that I am Jehovah.
20:39
以色列家阿，至於你們，主耶和華如此說，你們各人去事奉自己的偶像罷；只是以後你們必聽從我，也必不再因你們的供物和偶像，褻瀆我的聖名。
As for you, O house of Israel, thus says the Lord Jehovah, Go, serve every one his idols; but afterward, you shall surely listen to Me, and My holy name you will no longer profane with your gifts and with your idols.
20:40
主耶和華說，在我的聖山，就是以色列高處的山，以色列全家所有的人都要在那地事奉我；我要在那裏悅納他們，我要在那裏向你們要供物和初熟的獻禮，並一切的聖物。
For on My holy mountain, on the mountain of the height of Israel, declares the Lord Jehovah, there will the whole house of Israel, all of them, serve Me in the land; there will I accept them and there will I require your contributions and the firstfruits of your offerings with all your holy things.
20:41
我從萬民中領你們出來，從你們分散到的各地聚集你們，那時我必悅納你們好像怡爽的香氣；我要在列國人眼前在你們身上顯為聖別。
As a sweet savor I will accept you, when I bring you out from the peoples and gather you from the countries among which you have been scattered; and I will be sanctified in you in the sight of the nations.
20:42
我領你們進入以色列地，就是我舉手起誓要賜給你們列祖之地，那時你們就知道我是耶和華。
And you will know that I am Jehovah, when I bring you into the land of Israel, into the land concerning which I lifted up My hand to give to your fathers.
20:43
你們在那裏要追念你們那些玷污自己的行徑和一切作為，又要因所作的一切惡事，看自己為可厭惡的。
And there you will remember your ways and all your doings by which you defiled yourselves; and you will loathe yourselves in your own sight for all your evils that you have done.
20:44
主耶和華說，以色列家阿，我為我名的緣故，不照著你們邪惡的行徑和你們敗壞的作為待你們；你們就知道我是耶和華。
And you will know that I am Jehovah, when I have dealt with you for My name's sake, not according to your evil ways or according to your corrupt doings, O house of Israel, declares the Lord Jehovah.
新約New Testament：
雅各書 James 4:1-5:6
4:1
你們中間的爭戰是從那裏來的？鬥毆是從那裏來的？豈不是從你們肢體中交戰的私慾來的麼？
Where do wars and fightings among you come from? Are they not from this, from your pleasures that war in your members?
4:2
你們縱任貪慾，仍無所有；你們殺害嫉妒，也不能得，你們就鬥毆爭戰。你們沒有，是因為你們不求；
You lust and do not have; you murder and are jealous and are not able to obtain; you fight and make war. You do not have because you do not ask;
4:3
你們求也無所得，是因為你們妄求，為要耗費在你們的宴樂中。
You ask and do not receive because you ask evilly that you may spend it on your pleasures.
4:4
你們這些淫亂的人，豈不知與世界為友，就是與神為敵麼？所以凡想要與世界為友的，就成了神的仇敵。
Adulteresses, do you not know that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever determines to be a friend of the world is constituted an enemy of God.
4:5
經上說，“祂使其居住在我們裏面的那靈，戀慕以至於嫉妒。”你們想，這話是徒然的麼？
Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain: "The Spirit, whom He has caused to dwell in us, longs to envy''?
4:6
但祂賜更大的恩典；所以經上說，“神敵擋狂傲的人，賜恩給謙卑的人。”
But He gives greater grace; therefore it says, "God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble.''
4:7
所以你們要服從神，抵擋魔鬼，魔鬼就必離開你們逃跑了。
Be subject therefore to God; but withstand the devil, and he will flee from you.
4:8
你們要親近神，神就必親近你們。有罪的人哪，要潔淨你們的手。心懷二意的人哪，要純潔你們的心。
Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-souled!
4:9
你們要愁苦、哀慟、哭泣；你們的喜笑要變作哀慟，歡樂要變作憂鬱。
Endure misery and mourn and weep. Let your laughter be turned into mourning, and your joy into dejection.
4:10
你們要在主面前降卑，主就必叫你們升高。
Be humbled before the Lord, and He will exalt you.
4:11
弟兄們，你們不可彼此批評；那批評弟兄，或審判弟兄的，就是批評律法，審判律法。你若審判律法，就不是行律法者，乃是審判者。
Do not speak against one another, brothers. He who speaks against a brother or judges his brother speaks against the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge.
4:12
設立律法者和審判者只有一位，就是那能救人，也能滅人的。你這審判鄰舍的，你是誰？
One is Lawgiver and Judge, who is able to save and destroy. But who are you who judge your neighbor?
4:13
嗐，你們說，今天或明天，我們要往某城去，在那裏住一年，作買賣得利；
Come now, you who say, Today or tomorrow we will go into this or that city and spend a year there and do business and make a profit;
4:14
其實明天的事你們並不知道。你們的生命是甚麼？你們原是一團霧氣，出現少時，隨後就不見了。
Whereas you do not know the matter of tomorrow, what your life will be; for you are a vapor, which appears for a little while and then disappears.
4:15
你們倒應當說，主若願意，我們就可以活著，也可以作這事，或作那事。
Instead you ought to say, If the Lord wills, we will both live and do this or that.
4:16
現今你們竟以張狂誇口；凡這樣誇口都是惡的。
But now you boast in your arrogance; all such boasting is evil.
4:17
因此，人若知道行善，卻不去行，這對他就是罪了。
Therefore to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.
5:1
嗐，你們富足的人，應當為那將要臨到你們的悲慘哭泣號咷。
Come now, you rich, weep, howling over your miseries, which are coming upon you!
5:2
你們的財物壞了，衣服也被蟲子咬了。
Your riches have rotted and your garments have become moth-eaten;
5:3
你們的金銀都銹蝕了，這銹要作見證，定你們的罪，又要像火一樣，喫你們的肉。你們在末後的日子積蓄財寶。
Your gold and your silver have rusted, and their rust will be a testimony against you and will eat your flesh like fire. You have stored up treasure in the last days.
5:4
看哪，工人收割你們的田地，你們扣下他們的工錢，這工錢為他們喊冤；並且那收割之人的呼聲，已經入了萬軍之主的耳中。
Behold, the wages of the workmen who mowed your fields, which have been withheld by you, cry out; and the cries of those who reaped have entered into the ears of the Lord of hosts.
5:5
你們活在地上奢華宴樂；當宰殺的日子，竟養肥了你們的心。
You have lived luxuriously on the earth and have given yourselves to pleasure; you have nourished your hearts in a day of slaughter.
5:6
你們定了義人的罪，把他殺害，他沒有敵擋你們。
You condemned, you murdered the righteous; he does not resist you.
