50:1
耶和華藉申言者耶利米論巴比倫和迦勒底人之地所說的話：
The word which Jehovah spoke concerning Babylon, concerning the land of the Chaldeans, through Jeremiah the prophet:
50:2
你們要在萬國中傳揚報告，豎立旌旗；要報告，不可隱瞞，說，巴比倫被攻取，彼勒蒙羞，米羅達驚惶；巴比倫的神像都蒙羞，她的偶像都驚惶。
Declare among the nations and proclaim; Lift up a banner, proclaim it. Do not conceal it, but say, Babylon is captured; Bel is put to shame; Merodach is shattered; Her images are put to shame; Her idols are dismayed.
50:3
因有一國從北方上來攻擊她，使她的地荒涼，無人居住；連人帶牲畜，都逃走了。
For a nation has come up against her from the north; It will make her land a waste, And there will be no inhabitant in it; Both man and beast have fled; they are gone away.
50:4
耶和華說，當那些日子，那時候，以色列人要和猶大人同來，隨走隨哭，尋求耶和華他們的神。
In those days and at that time, declares Jehovah, The children of Israel will come, Both they and the children of Judah together; They will go along with weeping as they go, And they will seek Jehovah their God.
50:5
他們必詢問去錫安的路，又面向這裏，說，來罷，，我們要憑永遠不忘的約，與耶和華聯結。
They will ask for the way to Zion With their faces toward it, saying: Come and let us join ourselves to Jehovah In an eternal covenant that will not be forgotten.
50:6
我的百姓成了迷失的羊；他們的牧人使他們走錯了路，使他們流落山上；他們從大山走到小山，竟忘了安歇之處。
My people are lost sheep; Their shepherds have led them astray; They have made them turn aside on the mountains; They have gone from mountain to hill; They have forgotten their resting place.
50:7
凡遇見他們的，就把他們吞滅；他們的敵人說，我們沒有罪，因為他們得罪了那作公義居所的耶和華，就是他們列祖所盼望的耶和華。
All who found them have devoured them, And their adversaries have said, We are not guilty, Because they have sinned against Jehovah, The habitation of righteousness, Even Jehovah, the hope of their fathers.
50:8
你們要從巴比倫中間逃走，從迦勒底人之地出去，像羊群前面走的公山羊。
Flee from the midst of Babylon, And go out from the land of the Chaldeans, And be as male goats Before the flock.
50:9
因我必激動聯合的大國，從北方之地上來攻擊巴比倫；他們要擺陣攻擊她，她必從那裏被攻取。他們的箭，好像善戰勇士的箭，無一徒然返回。
For I am about to stir up and bring up against Babylon An assembly of great nations from the land of the north; And they will set themselves in array against her, And she will be taken captive from there. Their arrows will be like those of an expert mighty man; None will return empty-handed.
50:10
迦勒底必成為掠物；凡擄掠她的都必心滿意足；這是耶和華說的。
And Chaldea will become spoil; All those who spoil her will be satisfied, declares Jehovah.
50:11
搶奪我產業的阿，因你們喜樂歡騰，因你們歡跳像踹穀的母牛犢，又發嘶聲像壯馬，
Because you rejoiced, because you exulted, O you who plunder My inheritance, Because you spring about as a threshing heifer, And you neigh like stallions,
50:12
你們的母親巴比倫就極其抱愧，生你們的必然蒙羞；她被列在諸國之末，淪為曠野、旱地、沙漠。
Your mother has been greatly ashamed; She who bore you has become a reproach: Indeed, she has become the last of the nations, A wilderness, a dry land and a desert.
50:13
因耶和華的忿怒，她必無人居住，要全然荒涼；凡經過巴比倫的，都必驚駭，又嗤笑她一切的創傷。
Because of the wrath of Jehovah she will not be inhabited, But she will become a complete desolation; For every one who passes by Babylon will be astonished And will hiss at all her wounds.
50:14
所有拉弓的，你們要在巴比倫的四圍擺陣，射箭攻擊她；不要愛惜箭枝，因她得罪了耶和華。
Set yourselves in array against Babylon all around, All those who bend the bow; Shoot at her; spare no arrow; Because she has sinned against Jehovah;
50:15
你們要四圍呐喊攻擊她。她已經投降；她的外郭坍塌了，城牆拆毀了；因為這是耶和華報仇的事；你們要向巴比倫報仇，她怎樣待人，也要怎樣待她。
Raise a shout against her all around. She has surrendered; her buttresses have fallen, Her walls have been torn down; For this is the vengeance of Jehovah: Take vengeance on her; As she has done, so do to her.
50:16
你們要將巴比倫撒種的和收割時拿鐮刀的，都剪除了；他們各人因怕欺壓者的刀劍，必歸回本族，逃到本土。
Cut off the sower from Babylon, And the one who handles a sickle in the time of harvest; Because of the sword of the oppressor Each one will turn to his people, And each one flee to his own land.
50:17
以色列是打散的羊，獅子把他趕逐出去了。首先是亞述王將他吞滅，末後是巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒將他的骨頭啃斷。
Israel is a scattered sheep; Lions have driven him away. First the king of Assyria devoured him, and last this Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon has gnawed his bones.
50:18
所以萬軍之耶和華以色列的神如此說，我必懲罰巴比倫王和他的地，像我從前懲罰亞述王一樣。
Therefore thus says Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: I will punish the king of Babylon and his land, as I punished the king of Assyria.
50:19
我必再領以色列回他的居所；他必在迦密和巴珊得餧養，又在以法蓮山地和基列境內，魂得飽足。
And I will bring Israel back to his habitation, And he will feed on Carmel and Bashan, And in the hill country of Ephraim and in Gilead He will satisfy his soul.
50:20
耶和華說，當那些日子，那時候，雖尋以色列的罪孽，卻一無所得；雖尋猶大的罪，也一無所見；因為我所留下的人，我必赦免。
In those days and at that time, declares Jehovah, The iniquity of Israel will be sought, but there will be none; And the sin of Judah, but it will not be found; For I will forgive those whom I will leave as a remnant.
50:21
耶和華說，上去攻擊她，攻擊米拉大翁之地，又攻擊比割的居民。要摧殘毀滅淨盡，照我所吩咐你的一切去行。
Go up against her, against the land of Merathaim And against the inhabitants of Pekod. Desolate and utterly destroy them, declares Jehovah, And do according to all that I commanded you.
50:22
這地有打仗和大毀壞的響聲。
The sound of war is in the land, And great destruction.
50:23
全地的大錘，何竟砍斷破毀！巴比倫在列國中，何竟令人驚駭！
How the hammer of the whole earth Is cut down and broken! How Babylon has become an astonishment Among the nations!
50:24
巴比倫哪，我為你設下網羅，你被纏住卻不自知；你被尋著，也被捉住，因為你與耶和華爭戰。
I have set a snare for you, and you also have been taken captive, O Babylon, and you did not know; You were found, and you also were seized, Because you engaged in war with Jehovah.
50:25
耶和華已經開了武庫，拿出祂惱恨的兵器，因為這是主萬軍之耶和華的工作，要攻擊迦勒底人之地。
Jehovah has opened His armory And has brought out the weapons of His wrath, For this is the work of the Lord Jehovah of hosts Against the land of the Chaldeans.
50:26
你們要從四圍來攻擊她，開她的倉廩，將她堆如高堆，毀滅淨盡，絲毫不留。
Come against her from every side; Open her granaries. Pile her up like heaps; Destroy her utterly; Let nothing of her remain.
50:27
要殺她的一切公牛，使他們下去遭宰殺。他們有禍了，因為他們的日子，就是向他們追討的時候，已經來到。
Slay all her oxen; Let them go down to slaughter. Woe to them, for their day has come, The time of their punishment.
50:28
有從巴比倫地逃跑脫身之人的聲音，在錫安報告耶和華我們的神報仇，就是為祂的殿報仇。
There is a sound of those who flee and escape From the land of Babylon, To declare in Zion The vengeance of Jehovah our God, The vengeance for His temple.
50:29
要招集弓箭手，一切拉弓的人，攻擊巴比倫；要在她四圍安營攻擊她；不要容一人逃脫。要照她所作的報應她；她怎樣待人，也要怎樣待她；因為她敵對耶和華以色列的聖者，舉動狂傲。
Summon archers against Babylon, All those who bend the bow. Encamp against her all around; Let there be no escape. Recompense her according to her work; According to all that she has done, so do to her. For she has acted proudly against Jehovah, Against the Holy One of Israel.
50:30
所以她的少年人，必僕倒在寬闊處；當那日，她一切的兵丁必默默無聲；這是耶和華說的。
Therefore her young men will fall in her open squares, And all her men of war will be silenced in that day, Declares Jehovah.
50:31
主萬軍之耶和華說，你這狂傲的阿，我與你反對；因為你的日子，就是我向你追討的時候，已經來到。
Indeed, I am against you, O Pride, Declares the Lord Jehovah of hosts; For your day has come, The time that I visit you.
50:32
狂傲的必絆跌僕倒，無人扶起。我也必使火在他的城邑中著起，將他四圍所有的盡行燒滅。
And Pride will stumble and fall, And there will be no one to raise him up. And I will kindle a fire in his cities, And it will devour all that is around him.
50:33
萬軍之耶和華如此說，以色列人和猶大人一同受欺壓；凡擄掠他們的，都緊緊抓住他們，不肯釋放。
Thus says Jehovah of hosts, The children of Israel And the children of Judah are oppressed together; And all who took them captive held them fast; They refused to let them go.
50:34
他們的救贖主大有能力；萬軍之耶和華是祂的名。祂必為他們伸冤，好使這地得安息，卻使巴比倫的居民擾亂不安。
Their Redeemer is strong; Jehovah of hosts is His name. He will surely plead their cause, That He may give rest to the land But trouble to the inhabitants of Babylon.
50:35
耶和華說，有刀劍攻擊迦勒底人和巴比倫的居民，並她的首領和智慧人。
The sword is against the Chaldeans, declares Jehovah, And against the inhabitants of Babylon And against her princes and against her wise men.
50:36
有刀劍攻擊說謊的人，他們就成為愚昧；有刀劍攻擊她的勇士，他們就驚惶。
The sword is against the liars, and they will become fools; The sword is against her mighty men, and they will be dismayed.
50:37
有刀劍攻擊他們的馬匹、戰車、和其中一切混雜的人民，他們必像婦女一樣。有刀劍攻擊她的財寶，那些財寶就被搶奪。
The sword is against their horses and against their chariots And against all the mingled people who are in her midst, And they will become like women. The sword is against her treasuries, And they will be plundered.
50:38
有乾旱臨到她的眾水，眾水就必乾涸；因為這是有雕製偶像之地，人因可怕的偶像而癲狂。
Drought is upon her waters, And they will dry up; For it is a land of graven images, And they are mad over terrifying idols.
50:39
所以曠野的走獸和豺狼必住在那裏，鴕鳥也住在其中。那裏必永無居民，世世代代無人居住。
Therefore desert animals will dwell there with hyenas, And ostriches will dwell in her. It will not be inhabited forever; It will not be dwelt in from generation to generation.
50:40
耶和華說，必無人住在那裏，也無世人在其中寄居，就像神所傾覆所多瑪、蛾摩拉、和鄰近的城邑一樣。
As when God overthrew Sodom And Gomorrah with its neighbors, Declares Jehovah, So no one will dwell there; Nor will a son of man sojourn in it.
50:41
有一民從北方而來，並有一大國和許多君王被激動，從地極來到。
A people is now coming from the north, And a great nation and many kings Are stirring from the uttermost parts of the earth.
50:42
他們拿弓和槍，性情殘忍，毫無憐憫。他們的聲音，像海浪匉訇；巴比倫的女子阿，他們都騎馬擺隊，如上戰場的人來攻擊你。
They grasp bow and spear; They are cruel and have no mercy. Their voice roars like the sea, And they ride upon horses, Set in array as a man for battle Against you, O daughter of Babylon.
50:43
巴比倫王聽見他們的風聲，手就發軟；痛苦將他抓住，疼痛仿佛正在生產的婦人。
The king of Babylon has heard the report about them, And his hands are feeble; Distress has seized him, Pain like a woman in childbirth.
50:44
必有一人像獅子從約但河邊的叢林上來，攻擊堅固的居所；轉眼之間，我要使他們逃跑離開她；誰蒙揀選，我就派誰治理她。誰能像我呢？誰能給我定規日期呢？誰是那能在我面前站立的牧人呢？
Indeed, one will come up like a lion From the majesty of the Jordan against a secure habitation; For I will suddenly make them run away from her; And whoever is chosen I will appoint over her. For who is like Me? And who can appoint Me a time? And who is that shepherd who can stand before Me?
50:45
所以你們要聽耶和華攻擊巴比倫所設的謀略，和祂攻擊迦勒底人之地所定的意念：仇敵定要將他們羊群中微小的拉去；祂定要使他們的居所荒涼。
Therefore hear the counsel of Jehovah, Which He purposed against Babylon, And His thoughts, which He has thought Against the land of the Chaldeans: Surely they will drag them off, the little ones of the flock; Surely He will make their habitation a desolation because of them.
50:46
因巴比倫被佔據的聲音，地就震動，人在列邦都聽見呼喊的聲音。
At the sound of Babylon being seized The earth trembles, And a cry is heard among the nations.
51:1
耶和華如此說，我必使毀滅的風刮起，攻擊巴比倫和住在立加米的人。
Thus says Jehovah, I will stir up against Babylon and against the inhabitants of Leb-kamai A destroying wind.
51:2
我要打發外邦人攻擊巴比倫，他們要簸揚她；在災禍的日子，他們要周圍攻擊她，使她的地擄掠一空。
And I will send strangers against Babylon, and they will winnow her, And they will empty her land When they come against her from every side In the evil day.
51:3
弓箭手要向拉弓的和披甲挺身的射箭；不憐惜她的少年人，要滅盡她的全軍。
Against him who bends, let the archer bend his bow, And against him who stands up in his armor; And let them not spare her young men, But let them utterly destroy all her army.
51:4
他們必在迦勒底人之地被殺僕倒，在巴比倫的街上被刺透。
And they will fall down slain in the land of the Chaldeans And pierced through in her streets.
51:5
以色列或猶大，並沒有被他的神萬軍之耶和華遺棄；然而他們的地充滿了違背以色列聖者的罪。
For neither Israel or Judah is forsaken By his God, by Jehovah of hosts; But their land is full of guilt Against the Holy One of Israel.
51:6
你們要從巴比倫中逃跑，各救自己的性命；不要在她的罪孽中被剪除，因為這是耶和華報仇的時候；祂必向巴比倫施行報應。
Flee from the midst of Babylon, And let each man save his life; Do not be cut off in her iniquity; For this is a time of vengeance to Jehovah; He will give full recompense to her.
51:7
巴比倫素來是耶和華手中的金杯，使全地沉醉；列國喝了她的酒就癲狂了。
Babylon has been a golden cup in Jehovah's hand That has made all the earth drunk. The nations have drunk of her wine; Therefore the nations have become mad.
51:8
巴比倫忽然傾覆毀壞；你們要為她哀號，拿乳香為她止痛，或者可以治好。
Suddenly Babylon has fallen and become broken; Howl over her; Take balm for her pain, If perhaps she may be healed.
51:9
我們本想醫治巴比倫，她卻沒有治好。離開她罷，我們各人往本地去；因為她受的審判上達于天，高及雲霄。
We tried to heal Babylon, but she is not healed; Forsake her, and let each one of us go to his own land; For her judgment has reached to heaven And has been lifted up to the clouds.
51:10
耶和華已經顯出我們的公義；來罷，我們可以在錫安述說耶和華我們神的作為。
Jehovah has brought forth our righteousnesses; Come and let us relate in Zion The work of Jehovah our God.
51:11
你們要磨亮箭頭，抓起盾牌。耶和華定意攻擊巴比倫，要將她毀滅，就激動了瑪代君王的靈，因這是耶和華的報仇，就是為祂的殿報仇。
Polish the arrows, Take up the shields. Jehovah has stirred up the spirit of the kings of the Medes, because His purpose is against Babylon, to destroy her; for this is the vengeance of Jehovah, the vengeance for His temple.
51:12
你們要豎立旌旗，攻擊巴比倫的城牆；要加強守望，派定守望者，設下埋伏；因為耶和華指著巴比倫居民所說的話，不僅定了意，也已經作成了。
Lift up a standard against the walls of Babylon; Make the watch strong. Set the watchmen; Prepare the ambushers; For Jehovah has both purposed and done What He spoke against the inhabitants of Babylon.
51:13
住在眾水之上多有財寶的阿，你的結局到了，你不義之財的量滿了。
O you who dwell by many waters, Abundant in treasures, Your end has come, The measure of your unjust gain.
51:14
萬軍之耶和華指著自己起誓，說，我必使敵人充滿你，像蝗蟲一樣；他們必對你發出勝利的呐喊。
Jehovah of hosts has sworn by Himself, I will surely fill you with men like locusts, And they will raise a shout of victory over you.
51:15
耶和華用能力造作大地，用智慧建立世界，用聰明鋪張諸天。
It is He who made the earth by His power, Who established the world by His wisdom, And by His understanding He stretched out the heavens.
51:16
祂一發聲，空中便有多水激動；祂使雲霧從地極上升；祂為雨造閃電，從祂府庫中帶出風來。
When He utters His voice, there is a tumult of waters in the heavens, And He causes the vapors to rise from the ends of the earth; He makes lightning for the rain And brings forth wind from His treasuries.
51:17
各人都愚蠢，毫無知識；各金匠都因自己雕製的偶像羞愧；他所鑄的像是虛假的，其中並無氣息。
Every man is stupid, without knowledge; Every goldsmith is put to shame by his idol; For his molten image is falsehood, And there is no breath in them.
51:18
這些都是虛無的，是迷惑人的作品；到討罪的時候，必要滅亡。
They are vanity, the work of delusion; At the time of their punishment they will perish.
51:19
雅各的分不像這些；因祂是形成萬有的，以色列也是祂產業的支派；萬軍之耶和華是祂的名。
The Portion of Jacob is not like these; For He is the One who formed everything, And Israel is the tribe of His inheritance; Jehovah of hosts is His name.
51:20
祂說，你是我的大錘，我爭戰的兵器；我要用你打碎列邦，用你毀滅列國，
He says, You are My hammer, My weapons of war; And with you I will shatter nations, And with you I will destroy kingdoms,
51:21
用你打碎馬和騎馬的，用你打碎戰車和坐在其上的，
And with you I will shatter the horse and his rider, And with you I will shatter the chariot and its rider,
51:22
用你打碎男人和女人，用你打碎老年人和少年人，用你打碎少男和處女，
And with you I will shatter man and woman, And with you I will shatter old man and young, And with you I will shatter young man and virgin,
51:23
用你打碎牧人和他的群畜，用你打碎農夫和他的一對牛，用你打碎省長和官長。
And with you I will shatter the shepherd and his flock, And with you I will shatter the farmer and his yoke of oxen, And with you I will shatter governors and officials.
51:24
耶和華說，我必在你們眼前，報復巴比倫人和迦勒底一切居民在錫安所行的諸惡。
And I will repay Babylon And all the inhabitants of Chaldea With all their evil which they have done In Zion before your eyes, declares Jehovah.
51:25
耶和華說，你這行毀滅的山，就是毀滅全地的山哪，我與你反對；我必向你伸手，將你從岩石輥下去，使你成為焚燒的山。
Indeed, I am against you, O mountain of destruction, Declares Jehovah, Which destroys the whole earth; And I will stretch out My hand upon you And roll you down from the rocks And make you a burning mountain.
51:26
人必不從你那裏取石頭為房角石，也不取石頭為根基石；你必永遠荒涼；這是耶和華說的。
And they will not take from you a stone for the corner Or a stone for the foundations; For you will be an eternal desolation, declares Jehovah.
51:27
要在這地豎立旌旗，在各國中吹角，使列國豫備攻擊她；將阿拉臘、米尼、亞實基拿各國招來攻擊她；又派軍長來攻擊她，使馬匹上來如可怕的蝗蟲；
Lift up a standard in the land; Blow a trumpet among the nations; Prepare the nations against her; Summon against her the kingdoms of Ararat, Minni, and Ashkenaz; Appoint an officer against her; Bring up the horses like terrifying locusts.
51:28
使列國和瑪代君王、省長、一切官長、並他們所管全地的人，都豫備攻擊她。
Prepare the nations against her, The kings of the Medes, Their governors and all their officials, And all the land of their dominion.
51:29
地必震動而翻騰；因耶和華向巴比倫所定的旨意成立了，要使巴比倫之地荒涼，無人居住。
And the land trembles and writhes, For the purposes of Jehovah against Babylon stand, To make the land of Babylon a waste, Without inhabitant.
51:30
巴比倫的勇士止息爭戰，留在堅壘之中；他們的勇力衰敗，好像婦女一樣；巴比倫的住處有火著起；她的門閂都折斷了。
The mighty men of Babylon have ceased fighting; They remain in strongholds; Their might has failed; they have become like women. Her dwellings are on fire; her bars are broken.
51:31
跑信的彼此相遇，送信的互相迎接，報告巴比倫王說，城的四方被攻取了；
Runner runs to meet runner, And messenger to meet messenger, To announce to the king of Babylon That his city has been captured from end to end.
51:32
渡口被佔據了，葦塘被火燒了，兵丁都驚慌了。
And the crossing places have been seized, And they burn the marshes with fire, And the men of war are terrified.
51:33
因為萬軍之耶和華以色列的神如此說，巴比倫的女子好像踹谷時的禾場，再過片時，她被收割的時候就到了。
For thus says Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, The daughter of Babylon is like a threshing floor At the time when it is trodden; Yet a little while and the time of harvest will come to her.
51:34
巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒吞滅了我，壓碎了我，使我成為空的器皿；他像龍將我吞下，用我的美物充滿他的肚腹，又將我洗除出去。
Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon has devoured me; He has crushed me; He has made me an empty vessel; He has swallowed me up like a dragon; He has filled his stomach with my delicacies; He has washed me out.
51:35
錫安的居民要說，願我和我肉體所受的強暴，歸與巴比倫！耶路撒冷人要說，願流我們血的罪，歸到迦勒底的居民！
The violence done to me and my flesh be on Babylon! The inhabitant of Zion will say; And my blood be upon the inhabitants of Chaldea! Jerusalem will say.
51:36
所以耶和華如此說，我必為你伸冤，為你報仇；我必使巴比倫的海枯竭，使她的泉源乾涸。
Therefore thus says Jehovah, I will indeed plead your cause And execute vengeance for you; And I will dry up her sea And make her fountain dry.
51:37
巴比倫必成為亂堆，為野狗的住處，令人驚駭、嗤笑，無人居住。
And Babylon will become a heap of ruins, A habitation of jackals, An astonishment and a hissing, Without inhabitant.
51:38
他們在一起要像少壯獅子咆哮，像小獅子吼叫。
They will roar together like young lions; They will growl like lions' whelps.
51:39
他們火熱的時候，我必為他們設擺酒席，使他們沉醉，好叫他們快樂，睡了長覺，永不醒起；這是耶和華說的。
When they are inflamed, I will set out their drink; And I will make them drunk, that they may be merry And sleep an eternal sleep And not wake up, declares Jehovah.
51:40
我必使他們像羊羔，像公綿羊和公山羊，下到宰殺之地。
And I will bring them down like lambs to the slaughter, Like rams with male goats.
51:41
示沙克何竟被攻取！全地所稱讚的，何竟被佔據！巴比倫在列國中，何竟令人驚駭！
How Sheshach has been captured, And the praise of all the earth seized! How Babylon has become an astonishment Among the nations!
51:42
海水漲起，漫過巴比倫；她被許多海浪遮蓋。
The sea has come up over Babylon; She is covered with the multitude of its waves.
51:43
她的城邑成為荒場、旱地、沙漠，無人居住、無人經過之地。
Her cities have become a waste, A dry land and a desert, A land in which no one dwells, Through which no person passes.
51:44
我必懲罰巴比倫的彼勒，使他吐出所吞的；列國必不再流歸他那裏；巴比倫的城牆也必坍塌。
And I will punish Bel in Babylon And bring what he has swallowed out of his mouth; And the nations will not stream unto him any longer; Even the wall of Babylon will fall down.
51:45
我的民哪，你們要從她中間出來，各人拯救自己的性命，躲避耶和華的烈怒。
Come out from the midst of her, My people, And let each man save his life From the burning anger of Jehovah.
51:46
你們不要心驚膽怯，也不要因在這地所聽見的風聲懼怕；因為一年有風聲傳來，另一年又有風聲傳來，地上有強暴的事，官長攻擊官長。
And lest your heart faint And you become afraid at the report that will be heard in the land-For the report will come in one year; And after that a report in another year And violence in the earth, Ruler against ruler -
51:47
因此，日子將到，我必懲罰巴比倫的偶像；她全地必然抱愧；她被殺的人，必在其中僕倒。
Therefore indeed, days are coming, When I will punish the idols of Babylon; And her whole land will be put to shame, And all her slain will fall in her midst.
51:48
天地和其中所有的，必因巴比倫歡呼；因為行毀滅的，要從北方來攻擊她；這是耶和華說的。
And the heavens and the earth and all which is in them Will give a ringing shout over Babylon; For out of the north the destroyers will come against her, Declares Jehovah.
51:49
地上被殺的人怎樣曾因巴比倫僕倒，照樣巴比倫也必因以色列被殺的人僕倒。
Babylon is also to fall for the slain of Israel, As all the slain of the earth have fallen for Babylon .
51:50
你們逃脫了刀劍的人要快走，不要站住；要在遠方記念耶和華，心中追想耶路撒冷。
You who have escaped the sword, Go and do not stand still; Remember Jehovah from afar, And let Jerusalem come up in your heart.
51:51
我們因聽見辱駡就蒙羞，滿面慚愧；因為外人進了耶和華殿的聖所。
We have been put to shame, for we have heard reproach; Disgrace has covered our faces; For strangers have come Into the holy places of the house of Jehovah.
51:52
耶和華說，因此日子將到，我必懲罰巴比倫的偶像；在她全地受傷的人必唉哼。
Therefore indeed, days are coming, Declares Jehovah, When I will punish her idols, And throughout her land the wounded will groan.
51:53
巴比倫雖升到天上，雖使她堅固的高處更堅固，但仍有行毀滅的從我到她那裏；這是耶和華說的。
Though Babylon mount up to the heavens, And though she fortify the height of her strength, Destroyers will come from Me to her, Declares Jehovah.
51:54
有哀號的聲音從巴比倫出來，有大毀滅從迦勒底人之地發出！
The sound of a cry from Babylon, And great destruction from the land of the Chaldeans!
51:55
因耶和華正在毀滅巴比倫，使其中的大聲滅絕。他們的波浪仿佛眾水匉訇，他們的鬧聲已經響起。
For Jehovah is destroying Babylon, And He will cause the loud voice to perish from her. And their waves roar like many waters; The noise of their voice is raised.
51:56
因為行毀滅的臨到巴比倫，她的勇士被捉住；他們的弓折斷了；因為耶和華是施行報應的神，必定施行完全的報應。
For a destroyer has come upon her, upon Babylon, And her mighty men are taken captive; Their bows are broken into pieces; For Jehovah is a God of recompense; He will repay in full.
51:57
名為萬軍之耶和華的王說，我必使巴比倫的首領、智慧人、省長、官長和勇士，都沉醉；他們必睡長覺，永不醒起。
And I will make her princes and her wise men drunk, Her governors and her officials and her mighty men; And they will sleep an eternal sleep And not wake up, declares the King, Whose name is Jehovah of hosts.
51:58
萬軍之耶和華如此說，巴比倫寬闊的城牆，必光禿赤露，她高大的城門必被火焚燒；眾民必徒然勞碌，列國所勞碌的必被火焚燒；他們都必困乏。
Thus says Jehovah of hosts, The broad walls of Babylon will be utterly laid bare; Her high gates will be burned with fire. So the peoples will have labored in vain; And the nations, only for fire; and they will have wearied themselves.
51:59
猶大王西底家在位第四年，去巴比倫的時候，瑪西雅的孫子，尼利亞的兒子西萊雅與王同去；(西萊雅是行宮總管；)申言者耶利米有話吩咐他。
The word which Jeremiah the prophet commanded Seraiah the son of Neriah, the son of Mahseiah, when he went with Zedekiah the king of Judah to Babylon in the fourth year of his reign. (Now Seraiah was quartermaster.)
51:60
耶利米將一切要臨到巴比倫的災禍，就是論到巴比倫的一切話，都寫在書上。
And Jeremiah wrote in a book all the evil that would come on Babylon, even all these words that are written concerning Babylon.
51:61
耶利米對西萊雅說，你到了巴比倫，務要念這書上的話；
And Jeremiah said to Seraiah, When you come to Babylon, see that you read all these words;
51:62
又說，耶和華阿，你曾論到這地方，說，要將其剪除，甚至連人帶牲畜沒有在這裏居住的，必永遠荒涼。
And say, O Jehovah, You have spoken concerning this place, to cut it off, so that nothing should dwell in it, neither man nor animal, for it will be an eternal desolation.
51:63
你念完了這書，就把一塊石頭拴在書上，扔在伯拉河中，
And as soon as you have finished reading this book, you shall bind a stone to it and cast it into the midst of the Euphrates,
51:64
說，巴比倫因耶和華所要降與她的災禍，必如此沉下去，不再興起，人民也必困乏。耶利米的話到此為止。
And say, Thus Babylon will sink and will not rise up because of the evil which I will bring upon it, and they will weary themselves. Thus far are the words of Jeremiah.
新約New Testament：
希伯來書 Hebrews 8：1-13
8:1
我們所講之事的要點，就是我們有這樣的大祭司，祂已經坐在諸天之上至尊至大者寶座的右邊，
Now in the things which are being said the chief point is this: We have such a High Priest, who sat down on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens,
8:2
作了聖所，就是真帳幕的執事；這帳幕是主所支的，不是人所支的。
A Minister of the holy places, even of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, not man.
8:3
凡大祭司都是為獻禮物和祭物設立的，所以這一位也必須有所獻的。
For every high priest is established for the offering of both gifts and sacrifices; hence it is necessary that this One also have something which He may offer.
8:4
因此祂若在地上，必不得作祭司，因為已經有照律法獻禮物的祭司；
Now then if He were on earth, He would not be a Priest at all, there being those who offer the gifts according to the law,
8:5
他們的事奉，乃是天上事物的樣本和影兒，正如摩西將要完成帳幕的時候，蒙神指示他說，“你要謹慎，照著在山上所指示你的模型，作各樣的物件。”
Who serve the example and shadow of the heavenly things, even as Moses was divinely instructed when he was about to complete the tabernacle; for, "See,'' He said, "that you make all things according to the pattern that was shown to you in the mountain.''
8:6
但如今耶穌已經得著更超特的職任，正如祂也是更美之約的中保；這約是憑更美的應許立定為法的。
But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry inasmuch as He is also the Mediator of a better covenant, which has been enacted upon better promises.
8:7
原來那第一約若沒有瑕疵，就沒有尋求第二約的必要了。
For if that first covenant had been faultless, no place would have been sought for a second.
8:8
但神既找出祂百姓的瑕疵，就說，“看哪，日子將到，主說，我要與以色列家和猶大家，立定新約，
For finding fault with them He says, "Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, and I will consummate a new covenant upon the house of Israel and upon the house of Judah,
8:9
不是照著我拉他們祖宗的手，領他們出埃及地的日子，與他們所立的約；因為他們沒有恆守我的約，我也不理他們；這是主說的。
Not according to the covenant which I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by their hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, because they did not continue in My covenant, and I disregarded them, says the Lord.
8:10
主又說，因為這是那些日子以後，我要與以色列家所立的約：我要將我的律法賜在他們心思裏，並且將這些律法寫在他們心上；我要作他們的神，他們要作我的子民。
For this is the covenant which I will covenant with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will impart My laws into their mind, and on their hearts I will inscribe them; and I will be God to them, and they will be a people to Me.
8:11
他們各人絕不用教導自己同國之民，各人也絕不用教導自己的弟兄，說，你該認識主；因為他們從最小的到至大的，都必認識我；
And they shall by no means each teach his fellow citizen and each his brother, saying, Know the Lord; for all will know Me from the little one to the great one among them.
8:12
因為我要寬恕他們的不義，絕不再記念他們的罪。”
For I will be propitious to their unrighteousnesses, and their sins I shall by no means remember anymore.''
8:13
既說新約，就以第一約為舊了。但那漸漸陳舊並衰老的，就快要消逝了。
In saying, A new covenant, He has made the first old. But that which is becoming old and growing decrepit is near to disappearing.
