以賽亞書Isaiah 1:1-5:30
1:1
當烏西雅、約坦、亞哈斯、希西家作猶大王的時候，亞摩斯的兒子以賽亞所看見，關於猶大和耶路撒冷的異象：
The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, the kings of Judah:
1:2
天哪，要聽；地阿，要側耳聽；因為耶和華說，我養育兒女，將他們養大，他們竟背叛我。
Hear, O heavens, and hearken, O earth, For Jehovah has spoken: I have brought up children, and I have raised them; And yet they have rebelled against Me.
1:3
牛認識主人，驢認識主人的槽；以色列卻不認識，我的民卻不留意。
The ox knows his owner, And the donkey, his master's manger; But Israel does not know, My people do not much consider.
1:4
嗐，犯罪的國民，罪孽深重的百姓，作惡的種類，行事敗壞的兒女！他們離棄耶和華，藐視以色列的聖者，與祂生疏而退後。
Alas, sinful nation, A people heavy with iniquity, Seed of evildoers, Children acting corruptly! They have forsaken Jehovah; They have despised the Holy One of Israel; They have become estranged and have gone backward.
1:5
你們還有何處可受責打？你們還要繼續背道麼？你們已經滿頭疼痛，全心發昏；
Where will you be stricken again? Will you continue your apostasy? The whole head has become sick, And the whole heart faint;
1:6
從腳掌到頭頂，沒有一處完好；盡是傷口，青腫，與新打的傷痕；都沒有收口，沒有纏裹，也沒有用油滋潤。
From the sole of the foot even to the head, There is no soundness in it, Only bruises and blows And raw wounds-They have not been pressed out nor bound up Nor softened with oil.
1:7
你們的地土荒涼；你們的城邑被火焚燬；你們的田地在你們眼前被外人侵吞，就成為荒涼，如同被外人傾覆的一樣。
Your land is a desolation; Your cities are burned with fire; Your field-in your sight Strangers devour it; It is a desolation, like something overthrown by strangers.
1:8
僅存錫安城，好像葡萄園的草棚、瓜田的茅屋、被圍困的城邑。
And the daughter of Zion is left Like a booth in a vineyard, Like a hut in a cucumber field, Like a besieged city.
1:9
若不是萬軍之耶和華給我們稍留餘種，我們早已像所多瑪，和蛾摩拉一樣了。
Unless Jehovah of hosts Had left to us a surviving few, We would have been like Sodom, We would have resembled Gomorrah.
1:10
你們所多瑪的官長阿，要聽耶和華的話；你們蛾摩拉的百姓阿，要側耳聽我們神的訓誨。
Hear the word of Jehovah, You rulers of Sodom; Hearken to the instruction of our God, You people of Gomorrah.
1:11
耶和華說，你們所獻的許多祭物，與我何益呢？公綿羊的燔祭和肥畜的脂油，我已經彀了；公牛、羊羔和公山羊的血，我都不喜悅。
What is the multitude of your sacrifices to Me? Says Jehovah. I have had My fill of burnt offerings of rams And the fat of fed cattle; The blood of bulls and lambs And goats, I do not delight in.
1:12
你們來朝見我的時候，誰要你們手中帶著這些，踐踏我的院宇呢？
When you come to appear before Me, Who has required this of your hand, To trample My courts?
1:13
你們不要再帶虛浮的供物來；你們所燒的香是我所憎惡的。守月朔和安息日，宣召大會，也是我所憎惡的；作罪孽又守嚴肅會，我不能容忍。
Bring no more vain offerings; Incense is an abomination to Me. New moon and Sabbath, the calling of convocations-I cannot bear iniquity and the solemn assembly.
1:14
你們的月朔和所定的節期，我心裏恨惡；這些都成了我的重擔；我擔當得不耐煩了。
Your new moons and your appointed feasts My soul hates; They have become a burden on Me; I am weary of bearing them.
1:15
你們伸開雙手禱告，我必遮眼不看你們；就是你們多多禱告，我也不聽。你們的手滿了殺人的血。
Thus, when you spread forth your hands, I will hide My eyes from you; Even though you multiply your prayers, I will not hear. Your hands are full of blood;
1:16
你們要洗濯自己，潔淨自己；從我眼前除掉你們的惡行；要止住作惡，
Wash yourselves; cleanse yourselves. Turn away the evil of your deeds From before My eyes. Cease doing what is evil;
1:17
學習行善；尋求公平，解救受欺壓的；給孤兒伸冤，為寡婦辨屈。
Learn to do good. Seek justice; Correct the ruthless. Defend the orphan; Plead for the widow.
1:18
耶和華說，你們來，我們彼此辯論。你們的罪雖像硃紅，必變白如雪；雖紅如丹顏，必白如羊毛。
Come now and let us reason together, Says Jehovah. Though your sins are like scarlet, They will be as white as snow; Though they are as red as crimson, They will be like wool.
1:19
你們若甘心聽從，必喫地上的美物；
If you are willing and listen, You will eat the good of the land;
1:20
若不聽從，反倒悖逆，必被刀劍吞滅；這是耶和華親口說的。
But if you refuse and rebel, You will be devoured by the sword; For the mouth of Jehovah has spoken.
1:21
忠信的城，何竟變為妓女！從前充滿了公平，有公義居在其中，現今卻有兇手居住！
How the faithful city Has become a harlot! She who was full of justice, She in whom righteousness once lodged, But now murderers!
1:22
你的銀子變為渣滓，你的酒攙水變淡；
Your silver has become dross; Your wine diluted with water;
1:23
你的首領居心悖逆，與盜賊作伴；他們都喜愛賄賂，追求贓私，不為孤兒伸冤，寡婦的案件也不得呈到他們面前。
Your rulers are rebellious And companions of thieves; They all love bribes And chase after rewards; They do not defend the orphan, Nor does the widow's plea come before them.
1:24
因此，主萬軍之耶和華以色列的大能者說，哎，我要向我的對頭雪恨，向我的仇敵報復；
Hence, the Lord Jehovah of hosts, The Mighty One of Israel, declares: Ah, I will ease Myself of My adversaries, And I will avenge Myself of My enemies;
1:25
我必反手加在你身上。我必煉盡你的渣滓，如同用鹼煉過，也必除淨你的雜質。
And I will turn My hand against you. I will thoroughly purge away your dross as with lye, And I will remove all your alloy.
1:26
我也必恢復你的審判官，像起初一樣，恢復你的謀士，像起先一般。然後，你必稱為公義之城，忠信之邑。
And I will restore your judges as at the first And your counselors as at the beginning. Afterward you will be called the city of righteousness, The faithful city.
1:27
錫安必因公平得蒙救贖，其中歸回的人，必因公義得蒙救贖。
Zion will be ransomed with justice, And her returning ones with righteousness.
1:28
但悖逆的和犯罪的必一同敗亡，離棄耶和華的必致消滅。
And there will be the shattering of rebels and sinners together, And those who forsake Jehovah will meet their end.
1:29
你們必因所喜愛的橡樹抱愧；你們必因所選擇的園子蒙羞。
For you will be ashamed of the terebinths That you have taken pleasure in; And you will be embarrassed at the gardens That you have chosen.
1:30
因為你們必如葉子凋落的橡樹，又像無水的園子；
For you will be like a terebinth Whose leaves are falling, And like a garden In which there is no water;
1:31
有權勢的必如麻屑，他的工作好像火星；他們都要一同焚燬，無人撲滅。
And the strong man will become tow, And his work a spark; And they will both burn together, And there will be none to extinguish them.
2:1
亞摩斯的兒子以賽亞所看見，關於猶大和耶路撒冷的話：
The word which Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem:
2:2
末後的日子，耶和華殿的山必堅立於諸山之頂，高舉過於眾岡陵；萬國的民都要湧向這山；
But in the last days The mountain of the house of Jehovah will be established On the top of the mountains; And it will be lifted up among the hills; And all the nations will stream to it,
2:3
多族的民要前來，說，來罷，我們登耶和華的山，上雅各神的殿；祂必將祂的道路教導我們，使我們行祂的路徑。因為訓誨必出於錫安，耶和華的言語必出於耶路撒冷；
And many peoples will come and say, Come and let us go up to the mountain of Jehovah, To the house of the God of Jacob, That He may instruct us in His ways, And that we may walk in His paths. For from Zion will go forth instruction, And the word of Jehovah from Jerusalem;
2:4
祂必在列國之間施行審判，為多族的民斷定是非。他們要將刀打成犁頭，把槍打成鐮刀；這國不舉刀攻擊那國，他們也不再學習戰事。
And He will judge between the nations, And will decide matters for many peoples. And they will beat their swords into plowshares, And their spears into pruning knives; Nation will not lift up sword against nation, Nor will they learn war anymore.
2:5
雅各家阿，來罷，我們在耶和華的光中行走。
House of Jacob, come and let us walk in the light of Jehovah.
2:6
耶和華阿，你離棄了你百姓雅各家，是因他們充滿了東方的風俗，作觀兆的，像非利士人一樣，並與外邦人聯手。
For You have abandoned Your people, The house of Jacob; Because they are full of customs from the east, And they are soothsayers like the Philistines, And they clasp hands with the children of foreigners.
2:7
他們的地滿了金銀，財寶也無窮；他們的地滿了馬匹，車輛也無數。
Their land is full of silver and gold, And their treasures are limitless; Their land is also full of horses, And their chariots are limitless.
2:8
他們的地滿了偶像；他們跪拜自己手所造的，就是自己指頭所作的。
And their land is full of idols; They bow down to the work of their hands, To that which their fingers have made.
2:9
如此，平常人屈膝，顯貴人降卑下跪；所以不可饒恕他們。
Thus the ordinary man is humbled, and the man of distinction is abased-But do not forgive them.
2:10
你當進入巖穴，藏在土中，躲避耶和華的驚嚇，和祂威嚴的榮光。
Enter into the rock, And hide in the dust, From the dread of Jehovah, And from the splendor of His majesty.
2:11
人高傲的眼目必降為卑，人的狂傲都必屈服；到那日，惟獨耶和華被尊崇。
Man's haughty look will be abased, And the loftiness of men will be humbled; But Jehovah alone will be exalted In that day.
2:12
因為必有萬軍之耶和華的一個日子，臨到一切驕矜高傲的，和一切高抬自己的，使其降為卑；
For Jehovah of hosts will have a day Over everything proud and lofty, And over everything lifted up that it may be abased;
2:13
又臨到利巴嫩一切高大的香柏樹，和巴珊一切的橡樹；
Over all the cedars of Lebanon, Which are lofty and lifted up, And over all the oaks of Bashan;
2:14
又臨到一切高山，和一切聳起的岡陵；
Over all the lofty mountains, And over all the hills that are lifted up;
2:15
又臨到每一高臺，和每一堅固的城牆；
Over every high tower, And over every fortified wall;
2:16
又臨到他施一切的船隻，並一切可喜愛的美物；
Over all the ships of Tarshish, And over all their pleasant artifacts.
2:17
平常人的高傲必屈服，顯貴人的狂傲必降為卑；到那日，惟獨耶和華被尊崇。
And the haughtiness of the ordinary man will be humbled, And the loftiness of the men of distinction will be abased; But Jehovah alone will be exalted In that day.
2:18
偶像必全然消逝。
And the idols will vanish completely.
2:19
耶和華興起使地大震動的時候，人必進入石洞，進入土穴，躲避耶和華的驚嚇，和祂威嚴的榮光。
And men will go into caves in the rocks And into holes in the dust, From the dread of Jehovah, And from the splendor of His majesty, When He arises to make the earth tremble.
2:20
到那日，人必將他們所造、供自己跪拜的銀偶像和金偶像，拋給田鼠和蝙蝠；
In that day a man will cast His idols of silver and his idols of gold, Which they made for themselves to bow down to, To the moles and to the bats,
2:21
到耶和華興起使地震動的時候，人好進入磐石洞中，進入巖石穴裏，躲避耶和華的驚嚇，和祂威嚴的榮光。
So that they may go into the crevices of the rocks And into the clefts of the cliffs, From the dread of Jehovah, And from the splendor of His majesty, When He arises to make the earth tremble.
2:22
你們休要倚靠人，他鼻孔裏不過有氣息；他可算甚么呢？
Stop regarding man, Whose life breath is in his nostrils. For of what value is he considered to be?
3:1
看哪，主萬軍之耶和華快要從耶路撒冷和猶大，除掉人各種的倚靠，就是一切所倚靠的糧，和一切所倚靠的水；
For now the Lord Jehovah of hosts Is taking away from Jerusalem and from Judah Every kind of support-All the support of bread And all the support of water;
3:2
除掉勇士和戰士，審判官和申言者，占卜的和長老，
The mighty man and the man of war, The judge and the prophet, And the diviner and the elder;
3:3
五十夫長和尊貴人，謀士、有巧藝的和通曉法術的。
The captain of fifty and the highly regarded; And the counselor, the wise magician, and the knowledgeable enchanter.
3:4
主說，我必使少年人作他們的首領，使反覆無定的人轄管他們。
And I will make youths their rulers, And capriciousness will rule over them.
3:5
百姓要彼此欺壓，各人受鄰舍的欺壓。少年人必侮慢老年人，卑賤人必侮慢尊貴人。
And the people will be oppressed, each by the other, And each by his neighbor. The youth will be arrogant to the elder, And the contemned one to the one who is honored.
3:6
人在父家拉住弟兄，說，你有衣服，可以作我們的官長，這些敗落的事歸在你手下罷；
When a man takes hold of his brother In his father's house and says, You have clothing, you be our ruler, And these ruins will be under your hand;
3:7
那時他必揚聲說，我不作裹傷的人，因我家中沒有糧食，也沒有衣服；你們不可立我作百姓的官長。
He will solemnly say, I will not be the one who binds your wounds, For in my house there is no food or clothing; Do not appoint me as ruler of the people.
3:8
耶路撒冷絆跌，猶大倾倒，因為他們的言語和行為都與耶和華作對，違抗祂榮光的眼目。
For Jerusalem stumbles, And Judah falls, Because their speech and their actions are against Jehovah, To rebel against the eyes of His glory.
3:9
他們的面色證明自己的不正；他們宣揚自己的罪，並不隱瞞，好像所多瑪一樣。他們有禍了，因為他們自招禍害！
The countenance of their faces witnesses against them, And they declare their sin like Sodom; They do not hide it. Woe to their soul! For they have brought evil upon themselves.
3:10
你們要對義人說，他們必享福樂，因為要喫自己行為所結的果子。
Say to the righteous that it will go well with them, For they will eat the fruit of their actions.
3:11
惡人有禍了！他必遭災難，因為要照自己手所行的受報應。
Woe to the wicked man! It will go badly with him; For the result of his deeds will be done to him.
3:12
至於我的百姓，孩童欺壓他們，婦女轄管他們。我的百姓阿，引導你的使你走錯，且隱藏你當行的道路。
My people-their oppressors are children, And women rule over them. O My people, those who lead you are leading you astray; And the path for your ways they have hidden.
3:13
耶和華站立辯論，站著審判百姓。
Jehovah stands firm to contend, And He stands to judge the people.
3:14
耶和華必控訴民中的長老和首領，說，喫盡葡萄園果子的，就是你們；從貧窮人所奪的，都在你們家中。
Jehovah will enter into judgment With the elders of His people and their rulers. It is you who have consumed the vineyard; The spoil of the poor is in your houses.
3:15
主萬軍之耶和華說，你們為何壓制我的百姓，搓磨貧窮人的臉呢？
What do you mean by crushing My people And grinding the faces of the poor? Declares the Lord Jehovah of hosts.
3:16
耶和華又說，因為錫安的女子高傲，行走挺項，賣弄眼目，俏步徐行，腳下玎璫；
Moreover Jehovah said, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, And walk around with outstretched necks And lusting eyes, And trip along with quick, little steps, And rattle the anklets on their feet;
3:17
所以主必使錫安的女子頭長禿瘡，耶和華又使她們赤露下體。
The Lord will strike the scalp of the daughters of Zion with scabs, And Jehovah will expose their secret parts.
3:18
到那日，主必除掉她們華美的腳釧、髮網、月牙圈，
In that day the Lord will remove the beauty of their anklets, headbands, and crescents;
3:19
耳墜、手鐲、貴價的帕子，
The ear pendants, the bracelets, and the costly veils;
3:20
華冠、足鍊、華帶、香盒、符囊，
The headdresses, the ankle chains, the sashes, the bottles of aromas, and the amulets;
3:21
戒指、鼻環，
The finger rings and the nose rings;
3:22
禮服、外套、披肩、荷包，
The formal gowns, the frocks, the wraps, and the purses;
3:23
手鏡、細麻衣、裹頭巾、蒙身的帕子。
The mirrors, the fine linen garments, the turbans, and the veils.
3:24
必有臭爛代替馨香，繩索代替腰帶，光禿代替美髮，麻衣繫腰代替華服，烙傷代替美容。
And instead of a sweet smell there will be rottenness; And instead of a belt, an encircling rope; Instead of well-set hair, baldness; And instead of fine garments, the girding of oneself with sackcloth; A brand instead of beauty.
3:25
你的男丁必倒在刀下，你的勇士必倒在陣上；
Your men will fall by the sword, And your mighty, in battle;
3:26
錫安的城門必悲傷、哀號，她必荒涼坐在地上。
Then her gates will mourn and lament, And she, being desolated, will sit on the ground.
4:1
在那日，七個女人必拉住一個男人，說，我們喫自己的食物，穿自己的衣服；但求你許我們歸你名下；求你除掉我們的羞恥。
And seven women will grasp One man in that day, Saying, We will eat our own bread And wear our own clothes; Just let us bear your name; Take away our reproach .
4:2
到那日，對以色列逃脫的人，耶和華的苗必成為他們的華美榮耀，而且地的果子必成為他們的誇耀光彩。
In that day the Shoot of Jehovah will be beauty and glory, and the Fruit of the earth, excellence and splendor, to those of Israel who have escaped.
4:3
那時，剩在錫安、留在耶路撒冷的，就是一切記名在耶路撒冷存活的，必稱為聖。
And he who is left over in Zion and remains in Jerusalem will be called holy, everyone who has been written down in Jerusalem for life;
4:4
因為主已用審判的靈，和焚燒的靈，將錫安女子的污穢洗去，又將耶路撒冷中殺人的血潔除。
When the Lord has washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion and has cleansed away the bloodstains of Jerusalem from her midst, by the judging Spirit and the burning Spirit.
4:5
耶和華必創造日間的煙雲，並夜間火焰的照亮，遮覆錫安山全境，且遮覆其所有宣召的大會；因為榮耀必成為罩蓋，遮覆一切。
Jehovah will create over the entire region of Mount Zion and over all her convocations a cloud of smoke by day, and the brightness of a fiery flame by night; for the glory will be a canopy over all.
4:6
並且必有帳棚，白日成蔭，可以避暑，並作避難所和藏身處，可以躲避狂風暴雨。
And there will be a tabernacle as a daytime shade from the heat and as a refuge and a cover from storm and rain.
5:1
我要歌唱我所親愛的，唱我所愛者的歌，論到祂的葡萄園。我所親愛的有葡萄園，在肥美的山岡上。
Let me sing of my Beloved, A song of my Beloved concerning His vineyard. My Beloved had a vineyard On a fertile hill.
5:2
祂刨挖園子，清除石頭，栽種上等的葡萄樹，又在園中蓋了一座樓，鑿出壓酒池；指望結好葡萄，反倒結了野葡萄。
And He dug it up and cleared away its stones, And He planted it with the choicest vine. Then He built a tower in the middle of it, And hewed out a wine vat in it. And He looked for it to produce grapes, But it produced only wild grapes.
5:3
耶路撒冷的居民和猶大人哪，請你們現今在我與我的葡萄園之間，作個評斷。
So then, you inhabitants of Jerusalem And you men of Judah, Judge between Me And My vineyard.
5:4
我為我的葡萄園，還可以作甚么，是我沒有作過的呢？我指望結好葡萄，怎麼倒結了野葡萄呢？
What more could I have done for My vineyard That I have not already done for it? Why then, when I looked for it to produce grapes, Did it produce only wild grapes?
5:5
現在我告訴你們，我要向我的葡萄園怎樣行：我必撤去它的籬笆，使它被吞滅；拆毀它的牆垣，使它被踐踏。
And now I will make known to you What I will now do to My vineyard: I will remove its hedge, and it will be consumed; I will break down its wall, and it will become a trampled place.
5:6
我必使它荒廢，不再修理，不再鋤刨；荊棘蒺藜倒要生長。我也必命雲不降雨在其上。
And I will make it a waste; It will not be pruned, nor will it be hoed; But thorns and thistles will come on it. And I will command the clouds Not to rain upon it.
5:7
原來萬軍之耶和華的葡萄園就是以色列家，祂所喜悅的樹就是猶大人；祂指望的是公平，誰知倒有流血！指望的是公義，誰知倒有哀聲！
For the vineyard of Jehovah of hosts is the house of Israel, And the men of Judah, the plant of His good pleasure; And He expected justice, but instead, bloodshed! He expected righteousness, but instead, an outcry of distress!
5:8
禍哉，那些以房接房，以地連地，以致不留餘地，只顧自己獨居境內的人！
Woe to those who join house to house, Who lay field to field, Till there is no place left, And you dwell alone in the midst of the land!
5:9
我耳聞萬軍之耶和華起誓說，必有許多房屋成為荒涼，又大又美的房屋無人居住。
In my ears Jehovah of hosts has sworn: Many houses shall indeed become desolate; Great ones and fine ones shall be without inhabitants.
5:10
因為十畝葡萄園只出一罷特酒，一賀梅珥穀種只結一伊法糧食。
For ten acres of vineyard will produce a mere bath of wine, And a homer of seed will produce an ephah of grain.
5:11
禍哉，那些清早起來追求濃酒，留連到夜深，以致因酒發燒的人！
Woe to those who rise early in the morning That they may run after liquor, To those who linger into the evening That wine may inflame them!
5:12
他們在筵席上彈琴、鼓瑟、擊鼓、吹笛、飲酒，卻不顧念耶和華的作為，也不留心祂手所作的。
Lyre and harp, tambourine and flute, And wine are the essence of their banquets; And they do not consider what has been done by Jehovah, Nor do they regard the work of His hands.
5:13
所以我的百姓因無知就被遷徙；他們的尊貴人成了飢餓的民，群眾極其乾渴。
Hence, my people go into exile For lack of knowledge; Their nobility become famished men, And their multitudes, parched with thirst.
5:14
故此，陰間擴張其欲，大開其口，沒有限量；耶路撒冷的榮美、群眾、喧嘩、並在其中歡樂的人，都落入陰間。
Hence, Sheol enlarges its appetite And opens its mouth wide, without limit, And Jerusalem's splendor descends, and her din And her uproar and the jubilant within her.
5:15
平常人屈服，顯貴人降為卑，高傲人的眼目也降為卑；
Thus the ordinary man is humbled, and the man of distinction is abased; And the eyes of the haughty are abased;
5:16
惟有萬軍之耶和華，因審判得高舉，聖別的神，因公義顯為聖別。
But Jehovah of hosts is exalted in judgment, And the holy God shows Himself holy in righteousness.
5:17
那時羊羔必來喫草，如同在自己的草場，豐肥人的荒場必被外人喫盡。
Then lambs will graze there as in their pasture, And strangers will eat the wastelands of fat men.
5:18
禍哉，那些以虛假之繩索牽罪孽，又像以套繩拉罪惡的人！
Woe to those who draw iniquity with ropes of vanity, And sin as with cart ropes;
5:19
他們說，任祂急速而行，趕快成就祂的作為，使我們可以看見；任以色列聖者所謀畫的臨近成就，使我們可以知道。
Who say, He should hurry up; He should hasten His work, So that we may see it; And the counsel of the Holy One of Israel Should draw near and happen, So that we may know it!
5:20
禍哉，那些稱惡為善，稱善為惡，以暗為光，以光為暗，以苦為甜，以甜為苦的人！
Woe to those who call evil good, And good evil; Who put darkness for light, And light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, And sweet for bitter!
5:21
禍哉，那些自視為有智慧，自看為精明的人！
Isaiah 5:21 says, "Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, And prudent in their own sight!"
5:22
禍哉，那些飲酒的勇士，那些調濃酒的壯士！
Woe to those who are heroes in drinking wine, And men of valor in mixing liquor;
5:23
他們因受賄賂，就定惡人為義，將義人的義奪去。
Who acquit the criminal as a result of a bribe, But refuse righteousness to the righteous!
5:24
火舌怎樣吞滅碎秸，乾草怎樣落在火焰之中，照樣，他們的根必像朽物，他們的花必像灰塵飛揚；因為他們厭棄萬軍之耶和華的訓誨，藐視以色列聖者的言語。
Therefore as a tongue of fire consumes the stubble, And the chaff sinks in flames, Their root will be like decay, And their bud will disappear like dust; For they have rejected the instruction of Jehovah of hosts And despised the speaking of the Holy One of Israel.
5:25
所以耶和華的怒氣向祂的百姓發作，祂的手伸出擊打他們。山嶺震動，他們的屍首在街市上好像糞土。雖然如此，祂的怒氣還未轉消，祂的手仍然伸出。
For this reason the anger of Jehovah burns against His people, And He stretches out His hand over them and strikes them. And the mountains quake, and their corpses are Like garbage in the middle of the street. In spite of all this His anger is not turned away; Rather, His hand is still stretched out.
5:26
祂必高舉旌旗，招遠方的國民，發嘯聲叫他們從地極而來；他們必急速奔來。
He also lifts up a standard to a distant nation, And whistles to it from the ends of the earth; And indeed it comes with swift speed.
5:27
他們中間沒有疲倦的、絆跌的，沒有打盹的、睡覺的；他們的腰帶並不放鬆，鞋帶也不折斷。
None of them is weary, and none stumbles among them; No one slumbers or sleeps; And their belts are not loosened at their waists, Nor are their sandal thongs broken.
5:28
他們的箭快利，弓也上了弦；馬蹄算如堅石，車輪好像旋風。
The arrows of these are sharpened, And all their bows are drawn; The hooves of their horses are considered to be like flint, And their chariot wheels like a whirlwind.
5:29
他們要吼叫像獅子，咆哮像少壯獅子；他們要咆哮抓食，安然叼去，無人搭救。
Their roar is like a lion's, And they roar like young lions; When they growl and seize prey, They carry it away safe, and there is none to rescue it.
5:30
那日他們要向以色列人吼叫，像海浪匉訇。人若望地，只見黑暗艱難，亮光在雲中變為昏暗。
And they will growl over it in that day, Like the roaring of the sea. When one will look upon the land, indeed, there will be darkness and distress, And the light will be darkened with its clouds.

以弗所書Ephesians 2:1-22
2:1
而你們原是死在過犯並罪之中，
And you, though dead in your offenses and sins,
2:2
那時，你們在其中行事為人，隨著這世界的世代，順著空中掌權者的首領，就是那現今在悖逆之子裏面運行之靈的首領；
In which you once walked according to the age of this world, according to the ruler of the authority of the air, of the spirit which is now operating in the sons of disobedience;
2:3
我們眾人從前也都在他們中間，在我們肉體的私慾裏，行事為人，行肉體和思念所意慾的，生來就是可怒的兒女，和其餘的人一樣；
Among whom we also all conducted ourselves once in the lusts of our flesh, doing the desires of the flesh and of the thoughts, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest;
2:4
然而神富於憐憫，因祂愛我們的大愛，
But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,
2:5
竟然在我們因過犯死了的時候，便叫我們一同與基督活過來，（你們得救是靠著恩典，）
Even when we were dead in offenses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved)
2:6
祂又叫我們在基督耶穌裏一同復活，一同坐在諸天界裏，
And raised us up together with Him and seated us together with Him in the heavenlies in Christ Jesus,
2:7
好在要來的諸世代中，顯示祂在基督耶穌裏，向我們所施恩慈中恩典超越的豐富。
That He might display in the ages to come the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
2:8
你們得救是靠著恩典，藉著信；這並不是出於你們，乃是神的恩賜；
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this not of yourselves; it is the gift of God;
2:9
也不是出於行為，免得有人誇口。
Not of works that no one should boast.
2:10
我們原是神的傑作，在基督耶穌裏，為著神早先豫備好，要我們行在其中的善良事工創造的。
For we are His masterpiece, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand in order that we would walk in them.
2:11
所以你們應當記念，你們從前在肉身上是外邦人，是那些憑人手所行，在肉身上稱為受割禮之人，所稱為未受割禮的；
Therefore remember that once you, the Gentiles in the flesh, those who are called uncircumcision by that which is called circumcision in the flesh made by hands,
2:12
那時，你們在基督以外，和以色列國民隔絕，在所應許的諸約上是局外人，在世上沒有指望，沒有神。
That you were at that time apart from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of the promise, having no hope and without God in the world.
2:13
但如今在基督耶穌裏，你們這從前遠離的人，靠著基督的血，已經得親近了。
But now in Christ Jesus you who were once far off have become near in the blood of Christ.
2:14
因祂自己是我們的和平，將兩下作成一個，拆毀了中間隔斷的牆，就是仇恨，
For He Himself is our peace, He who has made both one and has broken down the middle wall of partition, the enmity,
2:15
在祂的肉體裏，廢掉了那規條中誡命的律法，好把兩下在祂自己裏面，創造成一個新人，成就了和平；
Abolishing in His flesh the law of the commandments in ordinances, that He might create the two in Himself into one new man, so making peace,
2:16
既用十字架除滅了仇恨，便藉這十字架，使兩下在一個身體裏與神和好了；
And might reconcile both in one Body to God through the cross, having slain the enmity by it.
2:17
又來傳和平為福音，給你們這遠離的人，也傳和平為福音，給那相近的人，
And coming, He announced peace as the gospel to you who were far off, and peace to those who were near,
2:18
因為藉著祂，我們兩下在一位靈裏，得以進到父面前。
For through Him we both have access in one Spirit unto the Father.
2:19
這樣，你們不再是外人和寄居的，乃是聖徒同國之民，是神家裏的親人，
So then you are no longer strangers and sojourners, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God,
2:20
被建造在使徒和申言者的根基上，有基督耶穌自己作房角石；
Being built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the cornerstone;
2:21
在祂裏面，全房聯結一起，長成在主裏的聖殿；
In whom all the building, being fitted together, is growing into a holy temple in the Lord;
2:22
你們也在祂裏面同被建造，成為神在靈裏的居所。
In whom you also are being built together into a dwelling place of God in spirit.
