9:1
申言者以利沙叫了一個申言者的門徒來，對他說，你束上腰，手拿這瓶膏油往基列的拉末去。
And Elisha the prophet called one of the sons of the prophets and said to him, Gird up your loins, and take this flask of oil in your hand, and go to Ramoth-gilead.
9:2
到了那裏，你要去見甯示的孫子，約沙法的兒子耶戶；你要進去，使他從同僚中起來，帶他進入密室，
And when you arrive there, look there for Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat, the son of Nimshi; and go in and make him rise up from among his brothers, and bring him to an inner room.
9:3
將瓶裏的膏油倒在他頭上，說，耶和華如此說，我已膏你作以色列的王。然後你就開門逃跑，不要遲延。
Then take the flask of oil and pour it on his head and say, Thus says Jehovah, I have anointed you king over Israel. Then open the door and flee, and do not delay.
9:4
於是那少年人，就是申言者的僕人，往基列的拉末去了。
So the young man, the prophet's attendant, went to Ramoth-gilead.
9:5
到了那裏，看見眾軍長都坐著，就說，將軍哪，我有話對你說。
And when he came, there the captains of the army were sitting. And he said, I have a word for you, O captain. And Jehu said, To which one of all of us? And he said, To you, O captain.
9:6
耶戶說，我們眾人中，你要對那一個說呢？他說，將軍哪，我要對你說。耶戶就起來，進了屋子；少年人將膏油倒在他頭上，對他說，耶和華以色列的神如此說，我已膏你作耶和華之民以色列的王。
And he rose up and went into the house; and he poured the oil on his head and said to him, Thus says Jehovah the God of Israel, I have anointed you king over the people of Jehovah, over Israel.
9:7
你要擊殺你主人亞哈的家，我好在耶洗別身上伸她流我僕人眾申言者和耶和華一切僕人之血的冤。
And you shall strike the house of Ahab your master, and I will avenge the blood of My servants the prophets and the blood of all the servants of Jehovah at the hand of Jezebel.
9:8
亞哈全家必都滅亡，以色列中凡屬亞哈的男丁，無論是困住的、自由的，我都要剪除；
And the whole house of Ahab will perish, and I will cut off from Ahab every male, bond and free, in Israel;
9:9
我要使亞哈的家像尼八兒子耶羅波安的家，又像亞希雅兒子巴沙的家。
And I will make the house of Ahab like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah;
9:10
至於耶洗別，狗必在耶斯列田裏喫她，無人將她葬埋。說完了，少年人就開門逃跑了。
And the dogs shall eat Jezebel in the lot of Jezreel, and there will be none to bury her. Then he opened the door and fled.
9:11
耶戶出來，回到他主人的臣僕那裏，有人問他說，平安麼？這狂妄的人來見你有甚麼事呢？他對他們說，你們認得那人，也知道他說甚麼。
And when Jehu came out to the servants of his master, someone said to him, Is all well? Why did this mad fellow come to you? And he said to them, You know the man and his ranting.
9:12
他們說，這是假話；請你據實的告訴我們。他說，他如此如此對我說；他說，耶和華如此說，我已膏你作以色列的王。
And they said, That is a lie; please tell us. And he said, Thus and thus he said to me, saying, Thus says Jehovah, I have anointed you king over Israel.
9:13
他們就急忙各將自己的衣服鋪在臺階上，使耶戶坐在其上；他們吹角，說，耶戶作王了！
Then they moved quickly; and every man took his garment and put it under him on the bare steps; and they blew the trumpet and said, Jehu is king!
9:14
這樣，甯示的孫子，約沙法的兒子耶戶，背叛約蘭。(先是約蘭和全以色列因為亞蘭王哈薛的緣故，把守基列的拉末；
And Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat, the son of Nimshi, conspired against Joram. (Now Joram had been defending Ramoth-gilead, he and all Israel, because of Hazael the king of Syria,
9:15
但約蘭王回到耶斯列，醫治與亞蘭王哈薛打仗時，亞蘭人使他受的傷。)耶戶說，若合你們的意思，就不容人逃出城往耶斯列去報信。
But Jehoram the king returned to be healed in Jezreel of the wounds which the Syrians had inflicted on him when he fought Hazael the king of Syria). And Jehu said, If this is your desire, let no fugitive depart from the city and go and tell it in Jezreel.
9:16
於是耶戶坐車往耶斯列去，因為約蘭病臥在那裏。猶大王亞哈謝已經下去看望他。
So Jehu rode off in a chariot and went to Jezreel, for Joram was lying ill there. And Ahaziah the king of Judah had come down to see Joram.
9:17
守望的人站在耶斯列的城樓上，看見耶戶帶著一大群人來，就說，我看見一大群人。約蘭說，找一個騎馬的，打發他去迎接他們，問說，平安不平安？
And the watchman stood on the tower in Jezreel and saw Jehu's multitude as he came, and he said, I see a multitude. And Jehoram said, Take a horseman, and send him to meet them; and let him say, Is there peace?
9:18
騎馬的就去迎接耶戶，說，王如此問說，平安不平安？耶戶說，平安不平安與你何干？你轉到我後頭罷。守望的人又報告說，使者到了他們那裏，卻不回來。
So the horseman went to meet him and said, Thus says the king, Is there peace? And Jehu said, What do you have to do with peace? Turn behind me. And the watchman reported, saying, The messenger went to them but did not return.
9:19
王又打發第二個騎馬的去；這人到了他們那裏，說，王如此問說，平安不平安？耶戶說，平安不平安與你何干？你轉到我後頭罷。
And he sent out a second horseman; and he came to them and said, Thus says the king, Is there peace? And Jehu said, What do you have to do with peace? Turn behind me.
9:20
守望的人又報告說，他到了他們那裏，也不回來；車的趕法像甯示的孫子耶戶的趕法，因為他趕得甚猛。
And the watchman reported, saying, He went to them but did not return; and the driving is like the driving of Jehu the son of Nimshi, because he drives furiously.
9:21
約蘭說，套車！人就給他套車。以色列王約蘭和猶大王亞哈謝，各坐自己的車出去迎接耶戶，在耶斯列人拿伯的那塊田裏遇見他。
And Jehoram said, Yoke the chariot! And someone yoked his chariot. And Jehoram the king of Israel and Ahaziah the king of Judah went out, each in his chariot, and went to meet Jehu; and they found him in the lot of Naboth the Jezreelite.
9:22
約蘭見耶戶就說，耶戶阿，平安不平安？耶戶說，你母親耶洗別的淫行邪術這樣多，還能有甚麼平安？
And when Jehoram saw Jehu, he said, Is there peace, Jehu? And he said, What peace can there be, so long as the harlotries and sorceries of Jezebel your mother are so many?
9:23
約蘭就轉車逃跑，對亞哈謝說，亞哈謝阿，有陰謀！
And Jehoram turned the reins and tried to flee. And he said to Ahaziah, Treachery, Ahaziah!
9:24
耶戶拉滿了弓，射中約蘭的脊背，箭從心窩穿出，約蘭就曲身倒在車上。
And Jehu drew his bow with full strength and struck Jehoram between his arms; and the arrow went through his heart, and he sank down in his chariot.
9:25
耶戶對他的軍長畢甲說，你把他抬起來，拋在耶斯列人拿伯的那塊田裏。你當追想，你我一同坐車跟隨他父親亞哈的時候，耶和華論亞哈所說的諭言，
And Jehu said to Bidkar his officer, Take him up, and throw him in the lot of the field of Naboth the Jezreelite; for remember how you and I were riding together behind Ahab his father, and Jehovah uttered this oracle against him:
9:26
說，我昨日實在看見了拿伯的血和他眾子的血，我必在這塊田裏報應你；這是耶和華說的。現在你要照著耶和華的話，把他抬起來，拋在這塊田裏。
Surely I have seen the blood of Naboth and the blood of his sons yesterday, declares Jehovah; and I will repay you in this lot, declares Jehovah. And now, take him up and throw him in the lot, according to the word of Jehovah.
9:27
猶大王亞哈謝見這光景，就沿著通往園亭的路逃跑；耶戶追趕他，說，把這人也殺在車上。人就在靠近以伯蓮的姑珥坡上擊傷了他。他逃到米吉多，就死在那裏。
And Ahaziah the king of Judah saw this and fled toward the garden house; and Jehu pursued after him and said, Strike him too in his chariot. So they struck him at the ascent of Gur, which is by Ibleam. And he fled to Megiddo and died there.
9:28
他的臣僕用車將他的屍首送到耶路撒冷，與他列祖一同葬在大衛城，他自己的墳墓裏。
And his servants carried him in a chariot to Jerusalem and buried him in his grave with his fathers in the city of David.
9:29
亞哈謝登基作猶大王，是在亞哈的兒子約蘭十一年。
And in the eleventh year of Joram the son of Ahab, Ahaziah began to reign over Judah.
9:30
耶戶到了耶斯列；耶洗別聽見，就塗眼、梳頭，從窗戶裏往外觀看。
And Jehu came to Jezreel; and Jezebel heard of it. And she put paint on her eyes and adorned her head, and she looked out the window.
9:31
耶戶進門的時候，耶洗別說，殺自己主人的心利阿，平安麼？
And as Jehu entered the gate, she said, Is all well, Zimri, you murderer of your master?
9:32
耶戶仰臉向窗戶觀看，說，誰在我這邊？誰？有兩三個太監從窗戶往外看他。
And he lifted up his face to the window and said, Who is on my side? Who? And two or three eunuchs looked out at him.
9:33
耶戶說，把她扔下來。他們就把她扔下來。她的血濺在牆上和馬上；於是耶戶策馬把她踐踏了。
And he said, Throw her down. And they threw her down. And some of her blood spattered on the wall and on the horses, and he trampled her.
9:34
耶戶進去，喫了喝了，就說，你們去料理這被咒詛的婦人，把她葬埋了，因為她是王的女兒。
And he came in, and ate and drank, and said, Attend now to this cursed woman and bury her, for she is a king's daughter.
9:35
他們就去葬埋她，卻找不到她的全屍，只找到她的頭骨、腳和手掌。
But when they went to bury her, they found no more of her than her skull and her feet and the palms of her hands.
9:36
他們回去告訴耶戶，耶戶說，這正是耶和華藉祂僕人提斯比人以利亞所說的話，說，在耶斯列那塊田裏，狗必喫耶洗別的肉；
And they returned and reported it to him. And he said, This is the word of Jehovah, which He spoke through His servant Elijah the Tishbite, saying, In the lot of Jezreel the dogs will eat the flesh of Jezebel;
9:37
耶洗別的屍首必在耶斯列那塊田裏，如同田地上的糞土，甚至人不能說這是耶洗別。
And the corpse of Jezebel will be like dung upon the surface of the field in the lot of Jezreel, so that they will not say, This is Jezebel.
10:1
亞哈有七十個兒子在撒瑪利亞。耶戶寫信送到撒瑪利亞，給耶斯列的首領，就是眾長老，並給教養亞哈眾子的人，說，
Now Ahab had seventy sons in Samaria, and Jehu wrote letters and sent them to Samaria to the rulers of Jezreel, the elders, and to the guardians of the children of Ahab, saying,
10:2
你們那裏既有你們主人的眾子，又有戰車、馬匹、堅固城和兵器，這信到了你們那裏，
Now then, when this letter comes to you, since your master's sons are with you, and there are with you chariots and horses, a fortified city and weapons,
10:3
你們就可以在你們主人的眾子中，選擇一個最好、最合宜的，使他坐他父親的位，你們也可以為你們主人的家爭戰。
Look for the best and fittest of your master's sons, and set him on the throne of his father, and fight for your master's house.
10:4
他們卻甚懼怕，說，二王在他面前尚且站立不住，我們怎能站得住呢？
But they feared very greatly and said, If the two kings could not stand before him, how then can we stand before him?
10:5
家宰、邑宰、長老、和教養眾子的人，打發人去見耶戶，說，我們是你的僕人；凡你對我們所說的，我們都必遵行。我們不立誰作王，你看怎樣好就怎樣行。
And he who was over the household and he that was over the city and the elders and the guardians sent to Jehu, saying, We are your servants; all that you say to us, we will do. We will not make anyone king. What is good in your sight, do.
10:6
耶戶第二次給他們寫信說，你們若歸屬我，聽從我的話，明日這時候，要將你們主人眾子的首級帶到耶斯列來見我。那時王的兒子七十人都住在城中那些撫養他們的大臣那裏。
Then he wrote a letter to them a second time, saying, If you are mine and listen to my voice, take the heads of the sons of your master, and come to me at Jezreel tomorrow at this time. Now the king's sons, seventy men, were with the great men of the city, who had brought them up.
10:7
信一到，他們就把王的兒子七十人殺了，將首級裝在筐子裏，送到在耶斯列的耶戶那裏。
And when the letter reached them, they took the king's sons and slaughtered them, seventy men; and they placed their heads in baskets and sent them to him in Jezreel.
10:8
有使者來告訴耶戶說，他們將王眾子的首級送來了。耶戶說，將首級在城門口堆作兩堆，擱到早晨。
And the messenger came and told him, saying, They have brought the heads of the king's sons. And he said, Put them in two heaps at the entrance of the gate until the morning.
10:9
次日早晨，耶戶出來，站著對眾民說，你們都是公義的。我背叛我主人，將他殺了；但這些人都是誰殺的呢？
And in the morning he went out and stood and said to all the people, You are righteous. I conspired against my master and have killed him; but who struck all these?
10:10
由此可知，耶和華指著亞哈家所說的話，一句都沒有落空，因為耶和華藉祂僕人以利亞所說的，祂都成就了。
Know therefore that nothing of the word of Jehovah, which Jehovah spoke concerning the house of Ahab, shall fall to the earth; for Jehovah has done that which He spoke through His servant Elijah.
10:11
凡屬亞哈家在耶斯列所剩下的人，和他所有的大臣、朋友、祭司，耶戶盡都殺了，沒有留下一個。
So Jehu killed all that remained of the house of Ahab in Jezreel and all his great men and his acquaintances and his priests, until he left him no one remaining.
10:12
耶戶起身往撒瑪利亞去。在路上牧人相聚之處，
Then he rose up and departed and came into Samaria. And while he was at the shepherds' meeting place on the way,
10:13
耶戶遇見猶大王亞哈謝的弟兄，問他們說，你們是誰？他們說，我們是亞哈謝的弟兄，現在下去要問王的眾子和太后的眾子安。
Jehu came upon the brothers of Ahaziah the king of Judah; and he said, Who are you? And they said, We are the brothers of Ahaziah, and have come down to greet the sons of the king and the sons of the queen mother.
10:14
耶戶說，活捉他們。跟從的人就活捉了他們，將他們殺在牧人相聚之處的坑邊，共四十二人，沒有留下一個。
And he said, Take them alive. And they took them alive and slew them, forty- two men, at the pit of the meeting place; and he left not one of them remaining.
10:15
耶戶從那裏前行，恰遇利甲的兒子約拿達來迎接他，耶戶問他安，對他說，你的心對我是不是正直，像我的心對你的心那樣？約拿達說，是。耶戶說，若是這樣，你向我伸手，他就伸手；耶戶拉他上車到自己身邊。
And when he departed from there, he came upon Jehonadab the son of Rechab coming to meet him; and he greeted him and said to him, Is your heart right, as my heart is with your heart? And Jehonadab said, It is. And Jehu said, If it is, give me your hand. And Jehu gave him his hand and took him up to himself into the chariot.
10:16
耶戶說，你和我同去，看我為耶和華發的熱心；於是請他一同乘車。
And he said, Come with me, and see my zeal for Jehovah. So they made him ride in his chariot.
10:17
到了撒瑪利亞，耶戶就把在撒瑪利亞屬亞哈剩下的人都殺了，直到滅盡，正如耶和華對以利亞所說的話。
And when he came to Samaria, he struck all who were left to Ahab in Samaria, until he had destroyed him, according to the word of Jehovah, which He spoke to Elijah.
10:18
耶戶招聚眾民，對他們說，亞哈只是稍微事奉巴力，耶戶卻要大大事奉他。
And Jehu gathered all the people together and said to them, Ahab served Baal a little, but Jehu will serve him much.
10:19
現在把巴力的眾申言者、一切事奉巴力的人、並巴力的眾祭司，都召到我這裏來，一個也不可缺席，因為我要給巴力獻大祭；凡缺席的必不得活。耶戶這樣用詭計而行，是要殺盡事奉巴力的人。
Now call to me all the prophets of Baal, all his servants, and all his priests; let none be missing. For I have a great sacrifice to do to Baal. Whoever is missing will not live. But Jehu acted in subtlety, in order that he might destroy the worshippers of Baal.
10:20
耶戶說，要為巴力召開嚴肅會。於是他們宣告召開大會。
And Jehu said, Sanctify a solemn assembly for Baal. And they proclaimed it.
10:21
耶戶差人走遍全以色列；凡事奉巴力的人都來了，沒有剩下一個不來的。他們進了巴力廟，巴力廟中從這邊到那邊，都滿了人。
And Jehu sent word throughout all Israel, and all the worshippers of Baal came; and there was not one left who did not come. And they came to the house of Baal, and the house of Baal was filled from one end to the other.
10:22
耶戶吩咐掌管禮服的人說，拿出禮服來，給一切事奉巴力的人穿。他就拿出禮服來給了他們。
And he said to the one who was over the wardrobe, Bring out garments for all the worshippers of Baal. And they brought out the garments to them.
10:23
耶戶和利甲的兒子約拿達進了巴力廟，對事奉巴力的人說，你們察看察看，在你們這裏不可有耶和華的僕人，只可有事奉巴力的人。
And Jehu and Jehonadab the son of Rechab came to the house of Baal; and he said to the worshippers of Baal, Search and see that none of the servants of Jehovah are here with you; only the worshippers of Baal should be here.
10:24
耶戶和約拿達進去，獻平安祭和燔祭。耶戶先為自己安排八十人在外面，說，我將這些人交在你們手中，若有一人脫逃，誰放的必要償命。
And they came to offer sacrifice and burnt offerings. Now Jehu had stationed for himself eighty men outside; and he had said, He who allows any of the men to escape whom I bring into your hands will give up his life instead.
10:25
耶戶獻完了燔祭，就出來對護衛兵和眾軍長說，你們進去殺他們，不要讓一人出來。護衛兵和軍長就用刀殺他們，將屍首拋出去，並到巴力廟的內堂去，
And when he finished offering the burnt offering, Jehu said to the guards and to the captains, Go in and slay them; let no one get out. And they struck them with the edge of the sword. And the guards and the captains threw them out, and they went to the inner room of the house of Baal.
10:26
他們將巴力廟中的柱像都拿出來燒了；
And they brought out the pillars of the house of Baal and burned them.
10:27
又毀壞了巴力柱像，拆毀了巴力廟作為廁所，直到今日。
And they broke down the pillar of Baal, and broke down the house of Baal and made it a latrine, as it is to this day.
10:28
這樣，耶戶從以色列中消滅了巴力。
Thus Jehu eradicated Baal from Israel.
10:29
只是耶戶仍舊跟從尼八的兒子耶羅波安使以色列人犯罪的罪，就是拜伯特利和但的金牛犢，並不離開。
However as regards the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, by which he caused Israel to sin, Jehu did not turn away from them, that is, the golden calves which were in Bethel and in Dan.
10:30
耶和華對耶戶說，因你辦好我眼中看為正的事，照我心中所願的一切待亞哈家，你的子孫必坐以色列的國位，直到第四代。
And Jehovah said to Jehu, Because you have done well in executing what is right in My eyes and have dealt with the house of Ahab according to all that was in My heart, your sons to the fourth generation shall sit on the throne of Israel.
10:31
只是耶戶不全心謹慎遵行耶和華以色列神的律法，不離開耶羅波安使以色列人犯罪的罪。
But Jehu was not careful to walk in the law of Jehovah the God of Israel with all his heart; he did not turn from the sins of Jeroboam, by which he caused Israel to sin.
10:32
在那些日子，耶和華開始割削以色列國；哈薛在以色列的四境擊敗他們，
In those days Jehovah began to cut away portions of land in Israel, and Hazael struck them in all the borders of Israel
10:33
乃是從約但河東起，攻擊基列全地，就是迦得人、流便人、瑪拿西人之地，從靠近亞嫩谷邊的亞羅珥起，包括基列和巴珊。
From the Jordan eastward, all the land of Gilead, the Gadites, the Reubenites, and the Manassites, from Aroer, which is by the valley of Arnon, both Gilead and Bashan.
10:34
耶戶其餘的事，凡他所行的，和他的勇力，豈不都寫在以色列諸王記上麼？
And the rest of the acts of Jehu and all that he did and all his might, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?
10:35
耶戶與他列祖同睡，人將他葬在撒瑪利亞；他兒子約哈斯接續他作王。
And Jehu slept with his fathers, and they buried him in Samaria. And Jehoahaz his son reigned in his place.
10:36
耶戶在撒瑪利亞作以色列王二十八年。
Now the time which Jehu reigned over Israel in Samaria was twenty-eight years.

12:1
逾越節前六日，耶穌來到伯大尼，就是祂從死人中所復活的拉撒路所在的地方。
Then Jesus, six days before the Passover, came to Bethany, where Lazarus was, whom Jesus had raised from the dead.
12:2
有人在那裏為耶穌豫備晚宴，馬大伺候，拉撒路也在那同耶穌坐席的人中。
Therefore they made Him a supper there; and Martha served, but Lazarus was one of the ones reclining at table with Him.
12:3
那時，馬利亞就拿著一磅至貴的真哪噠香膏，抹耶穌的腳，又用自己的頭髮去擦祂的腳，屋裏就滿了膏的香氣。
Then Mary took a pound of ointment, of very valuable pure nard, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped His feet with her hair; and the house was filled with the fragrance of the ointment.
12:4
祂門徒中的一個，就是那將要出賣耶穌的加略人猶大說，
But Judas Iscariot, one of His disciples, who was about to betray Him, said,
12:5
這香膏為甚麼不賣三百銀幣分給窮人？
Why was this ointment not sold for three hundred denarii and given to the poor?
12:6
他說這話，不是因他顧念窮人，乃因他是個賊，又帶著錢囊，常取其中所存的。
But he said this not because it mattered to him concerning the poor, but because he was a thief, and holding the purse, carried off what was put into it.
12:7
耶穌就說，由她吧，她是為我安葬之日存留的。
Then Jesus said, Leave her alone; she has reserved it for the day of My burial.
12:8
因為常有窮人和你們同在，只是你們不常有我。
For the poor you always have with you, but you do not always have Me.
12:9
有一大群猶太人知道耶穌在那裏，就都來了，不但是為耶穌的緣故，也是要看祂從死人中所復活的拉撒路。
Then a great crowd of the Jews found out that He was there, and they came, not because of Jesus only, but that they might also see Lazarus, whom He had raised from the dead.
12:10
但祭司長商議，連拉撒路也要殺了，
And the chief priests took counsel to kill Lazarus also,
12:11
因為有好些猶太人，為拉撒路的緣故，離去並信入了耶穌。
Because on account of him many of the Jews went away and believed into Jesus.
12:12
第二天，有大批上來過節的群眾，聽見耶穌將到耶路撒冷，
On the next day, the great crowd who had come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming into Jerusalem,
12:13
就拿著棕樹枝，出去迎接祂，喊著說，和散那，在主名裏來的以色列王，是當受頌讚的！
Took the branches of the palm trees and went out to meet Him, and cried out, Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord, even the King of Israel!
12:14
耶穌得了一匹小驢，就騎上，如經上所記：
And Jesus, having found a young donkey, sat on it, as it is written,
12:15
“錫安的女兒，不要懼怕，看哪，你的王騎著驢駒來了。”
"Fear not, daughter of Zion; behold, your King comes, sitting on a donkey's colt.''
12:16
這些事，祂的門徒起先不明白，等到耶穌得了榮耀以後，他們纔想起這話是指著祂寫的，並且眾人果然向祂這樣行了。
These things His disciples did not understand at first, but when Jesus was glorified, then they remembered that these things were written of Him and that they had done these things to Him.
12:17
當耶穌呼喚拉撒路，叫他從死人中復活，出墳墓的時候，同耶穌在那裏的群眾，就作見證。
The crowd therefore that was with Him when He called Lazarus out of the tomb and raised him from the dead testified.
12:18
群眾因聽見耶穌行了這神蹟，就去迎接祂。
For this reason the crowd also went and met Him, because they heard that He had done this sign.
12:19
於是法利賽人彼此說，看哪，你們是徒勞無益，你看世人都跟隨祂去了。
The Pharisees then said to one another, You see that you are not doing anything worthwhile; behold, the world has gone after Him.
12:20
那時，上來過節敬拜的人中，有幾個希利尼人。
And there were some Greeks among those who went up to worship at the feast.
12:21
他們來到加利利伯賽大的腓力跟前，求他說，先生，我們想要見耶穌。
These then came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida of Galilee, and asked him, saying, Sir, we wish to see Jesus.
12:22
腓力去告訴安得烈，安得烈同腓力去告訴耶穌。
Philip came and told Andrew; Andrew came, and Philip too, and they told Jesus.
12:23
耶穌回答說，人子得榮耀的時候到了。
And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified.
12:24
我實實在在的告訴你們，一粒麥子不落在地裏死了，仍舊是一粒；若是死了，就結出許多子粒來。
Truly, truly, I say to you, Unless the grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it abides alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.
12:25
愛惜自己魂生命的，就喪失魂生命；在這世上恨惡自己魂生命的，就要保守魂生命歸入永遠的生命。
He who loves his soul-life loses it; and he who hates his soul-life in this world shall keep it unto eternal life.
12:26
若有人服事我，就當跟從我；我在那裏，服事我的人也要在那裏。若有人服事我，我父必尊重他。
If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there also My servant will be. If anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him.
12:27
現今我的魂受攪擾，我說甚麼纔好？父啊，救我脫離這時刻，但我是為此纔來到這時刻的。
Now is My soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save Me out of this hour. But for this reason I have come to this hour.
12:28
父啊，願你榮耀你的名。當時就有聲音從天上出來，說，我已經榮耀了，還要再榮耀。
Father, glorify Your name. Then a voice came out of heaven: I have both glorified it and will glorify it again.
12:29
站著的群眾聽見了，就說，打雷了；另有的說，有天使對祂說話。
The crowd therefore which stood by and heard it said that there had been thunder; others said, An angel has spoken to Him.
12:30
耶穌回答說，這聲音不是為我，乃是為你們來的。
Jesus answered and said, This voice has not come for My sake, but for your sake.
12:31
現在這世界受審判，這世界的王要被趕出去。
Now is the judgment of this world; now shall the ruler of this world be cast out.
12:32
我若從地上被舉起來，就要吸引萬人來歸我。
And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to Myself.
12:33
耶穌這話是指明自己將要怎樣死說的。
But He said this signifying by what kind of death He was about to die.
12:34
群眾回答說，我們從律法上聽見，基督是永遠長存的，你怎麼說，人子必須被舉起來？這人子是誰？
The crowd therefore answered Him, We have heard out of the law that the Christ abides forever; and how is it that You say, The Son of Man must be lifted up? Who is this Son of Man?
12:35
耶穌就對他們說，光在你們中間，還有不多的時候，應當趁著有光行走，免得黑暗勝過你們；那在黑暗裏行走的，不知道往何處去。
Jesus then said to them, The light is still among you a little while. Walk while you have the light so that darkness may not overcome you; and he who walks in the darkness does not know where he is going.
12:36a
你們應當趁著有光，信入這光，使你們成為光的兒子。
While you have the light, believe into the light, so that you may become sons of light.
