列王紀上 1 Kings 17:1-18:16
17:1
基列寄居的提斯比人以利亞對亞哈說，我指著永活的耶和華，就是我侍立在祂面前以色列的神起誓，這幾年除非憑我的話，天必不降露，不下雨。
And Elijah the Tishbite, from among the inhabitants of Gilead, said to Ahab, As Jehovah the God of Israel lives, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain during these years, except by my word.
17:2
耶和華的話臨到以利亞說，
And the word of Jehovah came to him, saying,
17:3
你離開這裏往東去，藏在約但河前的基立溪旁。
Go from here and turn eastward, and hide yourself by the brook Cherith, which is before the Jordan.
17:4
你要喝那溪裏的水，我已吩咐烏鴉在那裏供養你。
And you shall drink from the brook, and I have commanded the ravens to feed you there.
17:5
以利亞就去，照著耶和華的話行了；他去住在約但河前的基立溪旁。
And he went and did according to the word of Jehovah; that is, he went and stayed by the brook Cherith, which is before the Jordan.
17:6
烏鴉早晨給他叼餅和肉來，晚上也給他叼餅和肉來；他又喝那溪裏的水。
And the ravens would bring him bread and meat in the morning and bread and meat in the evening; and he drank from the brook.
17:7
過了些日子，溪水乾了，因為那地沒有下雨。
Then after a while the brook dried up, for there had been no rain in the land.
17:8
耶和華的話臨到他，說，
And the word of Jehovah came to him, saying,
17:9
你起身往西頓的撒勒法去，住在那裏；我已吩咐那裏的一個寡婦供養你。
Rise up and go to Zarephath, which belongs to Zidon, and stay there. I have just commanded a widow there to keep you fed.
17:10
以利亞就起身往撒勒法去；到了城門口，見有一個寡婦在那裏撿柴。以利亞呼叫她，說，求你用器皿取點水來給我喝。
And he rose up and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the entrance of the city, a widow was there gathering sticks. And he called to her and said, I beg you, bring me a little water in a vessel, that I may drink.
17:11
她去取水的時候，以利亞又呼叫她，說，求你帶點餅來給我。
And she went to get it. Then he called to her and said, I beg you, bring me a piece of bread in your hand.
17:12
她說，我指著永活的耶和華你的神起誓，我沒有餅，壇內只有一把麵，瓶裏只有一點油；我現在撿兩根柴，要回去為我和我兒子作餅；我們吃了，就死了罷。
And she said, As Jehovah your God lives, I have nothing baked, but only a handful of meal in a barrel and a little oil in a jar; and I am now gathering a few sticks that I may go and prepare it for me and my son, that we may eat it and die.
17:13
以利亞對她說，不要怕，可以照你所說的去作罷。只要用這油和麵先為我作一個小餅，拿來給我，然後為你和你的兒子作餅。
And Elijah said to her, Do not fear. Go, do as you have said. But make me a little cake out of it first, and bring it out to me; then make something for yourself and for your son afterward.
17:14
因為耶和華以色列的神如此說，壇內的麵必不用完，瓶裏的油必不短缺，直到耶和華使雨降在地上的日子。
For thus says Jehovah the God of Israel, The barrel of meal will not give out, nor will the jar of oil fail, until the day that Jehovah sends rain upon the face of the earth.
17:15
婦人就照以利亞的話去行。她和以利亞並她家中的人，吃了許多日子。
And she went and did according to the word of Elijah. And she and he and her house ate for many days.
17:16
壇內的麵果然沒有用完，瓶裏的油也沒有短缺，正如耶和華藉以利亞所說的話。
The barrel of meal did not give out, nor did the jar of oil fail, according to the word of Jehovah, which He had spoken through Elijah.
17:17
這些事以後，作那家主母的婦人，她兒子病了，病得甚重，以致身無氣息。
Then after these things the son of the woman, the mistress of the house, became ill; and his illness was so severe that there was no breath left in him.
17:18
婦人對以利亞說，神人哪，我與你何干？你竟到我這裏來，使神想起我的罪孽，叫我的兒子死呢？
And she said to Elijah, What have I done to you, O man of God, that you have come to me to recall my iniquity and kill my son?
17:19
以利亞對她說，把你兒子交給我。以利亞就從婦人懷中將孩子接過來，抱到他所住的樓房，放在自己的床上，
And he said to her, Bring me your son. And he took him out of her bosom and carried him up into the upper chamber where he was staying, and he laid him upon his own bed.
17:20
就呼求耶和華，說，耶和華我的神阿，我寄居在這寡婦的家裏，難道你竟降禍與她，使她的兒子死了麼？
And he cried to Jehovah and said, Jehovah, my God, have You also brought evil upon the widow, to whom I am a guest, by slaying her son?
17:21
以利亞三次伏在孩子的身上，呼求耶和華，說，耶和華我的神阿，求你使這孩子的魂回到他裏面！
And he stretched himself upon the child three times and cried to Jehovah and said, Jehovah, my God, I beg You, let this child's soul come into him again!
17:22
耶和華應允以利亞的話，孩子的魂回到他裏面，他就活了。
And Jehovah listened to the voice of Elijah; and the child's soul came into him again, and he lived.
17:23
以利亞將孩子從樓上抱下來，進屋子交給他母親，說，看哪，你的兒子活了。
And Elijah took the child and brought him down from the upper room into the house and gave him to his mother. And Elijah said, See, your son is alive.
17:24
婦人對以利亞說，現在我才知道你是神人，耶和華的話在你口中是真的。
And the woman said to Elijah, Now by this I know that you are a man of God and that the word of Jehovah in your mouth is truth.
18:1
過了許久，到第三年，耶和華的話臨到以利亞，說，你去，使亞哈得見你；我要降雨在地上。
Then after many days the word of Jehovah came to Elijah in the third year, saying, Go, present yourself to Ahab; and I will send rain upon the face of the earth.
18:2
以利亞就去，要使亞哈得見他。那時，在撒瑪利亞的饑荒甚重。
And Elijah went to present himself to Ahab. And the famine was severe in Samaria.
18:3
亞哈將他的家宰俄巴底召了來。(俄巴底甚是敬畏耶和華；
And Ahab called for Obadiah, who was over his house. (Now Obadiah feared Jehovah greatly.
18:4
耶洗別剪除耶和華眾申言者的時候，俄巴底將一百個申言者，每五十人藏在一個洞裏，拿餅和水供養他們。)
And when Jezebel cut off the prophets of Jehovah, Obadiah took a hundred prophets and hid them by fifties in a cave and kept them fed with bread and water.)
18:5
亞哈對俄巴底說，你去走遍這地，到一切水泉旁和一切溪邊；或者我們找得著青草，可以救活騾馬，免得喪失一些牲口。
And Ahab said to Obadiah, Go through the land, to all the springs of water and to all the brooks; perhaps we will find grass to keep the horses and the mules alive and not lose some of the animals.
18:6
於是二人分地巡行，亞哈獨走一路，俄巴底獨走一路。
And they divided the land between them in order to pass through it: Ahab went one way by himself, and Obadiah went another way by himself.
18:7
俄巴底在路上恰與以利亞相遇，俄巴底認出他來，就面伏於地，說，你真是我主以利亞麼？
And while Obadiah was on the way, Elijah met him at that moment; and he recognized him and fell on his face and said, Is it indeed you, my lord Elijah?
18:8
以利亞對他說，我是。你去告訴你主人，以利亞在這裏。
And he said to him, It is I. Go and say to your lord, Elijah is here.
18:9
俄巴底說，我犯了甚麼罪，你竟要將僕人交在亞哈手裏，使他殺我呢？
And he said, What sin have I committed, that you give your servant into the hand of Ahab to put me to death?
18:10
我指著永活的耶和華你的神起誓，無論那一邦那一國，我主沒有不打發人去找你的；人若說你沒有在那裏，就必使那國那邦的人起誓說，實在是找不著你。
As Jehovah your God lives, there is no nation or kingdom that my lord has not sent men into in order to seek you; and when they said, He is not here, he had an oath taken from the kingdom or nation that they had not found you there.
18:11
現在你說，要去告訴你主人，以利亞在這裏。
And now you say, Go and say to your lord, Elijah is here.
18:12
恐怕我一離開你，耶和華的靈就提你到我所不知道的地方去；這樣，我去告訴亞哈，他若找不著你，就必殺我；僕人卻是自幼敬畏耶和華的。
And it will happen that when I go away from you, the Spirit of Jehovah will carry you off, I know not where; and when I come and tell Ahab, and he cannot find you, he will slay me, although I your servant have feared Jehovah since my youth.
18:13
耶洗別殺耶和華眾申言者的時候，我將耶和華的一百個申言者，每五十人藏在一個洞裏，拿餅和水供養他們，豈沒有人將我所作的這事告訴我主麼？
Was it not told my lord what I did when Jezebel slew the prophets of Jehovah, that I hid a hundred of Jehovah's prophets by fifties in a cave and kept them fed with bread and water?
18:14
現在你說，要去告訴你主人，以利亞在這裏；他必殺我。
And now you say, Go and say to your lord, Elijah is here; and he will slay me.
18:15
以利亞說，我指著永活的萬軍之耶和華，就是我侍立在祂面前的那位起誓，我今日必使亞哈得見我。
Then Elijah said, As Jehovah of hosts lives, before whom I stand, I will present myself to him today.
18:16
於是俄巴底去迎著亞哈，告訴他；亞哈就去迎著以利亞。
Then Obadiah went to meet Ahab, and he told him. And Ahab went to meet Elijah.

約翰福音 John 7:53-8:36
7:53
於是各人都回自己的家去了。
And everyone went to his own house.
8:1
耶穌往橄欖山去。
And everyone went to his own house. But Jesus went to the Mount of Olives.
8:2
清早又來到殿裏，眾百姓都到祂那裏去，祂就坐下教訓他們。
And early in the morning He came again into the temple, and all the people came to Him, and He sat down and taught them.
8:3
經學家和法利賽人，帶著一個行淫時被拿的婦人來，叫她站在當中，
And the scribes and Pharisees brought a woman caught in adultery, and having set her in the midst,
8:4
就對耶穌說，夫子，這婦人是正在行淫時被拿的。
They said to Him, Teacher, this woman has been caught committing adultery, in the very act.
8:5
摩西在律法上吩咐我們，把這樣的婦人用石頭打死，這樣，你怎麼說？
Now in the law, Moses commanded us to stone such women. What then do you say?
8:6
他們說這話，是要試誘耶穌，好得著把柄告祂。耶穌卻彎下腰來，用指頭在地上寫字。
But they said this to tempt Him, so that they might have reason to accuse Him. But Jesus stooped down and wrote with His finger on the ground.
8:7
他們還是不住的問祂，耶穌就直起腰來，對他們說，你們中間誰是沒有罪的，誰就先拿石頭打她。
But when they persisted in questioning Him, He stood up and said to them, He who is without sin among you, let him be the first to throw a stone at her.
8:8
於是又彎下腰來，在地上寫字。
And again He stooped down and wrote on the ground.
8:9
他們聽見了，就從老的開始，一個一個的出去了；只剩下耶穌一人，還有那婦人仍然站在當中。
And when they heard that, they went out one by one, beginning with the older ones. And Jesus was left alone, and the woman stood where she was, in the midst.
8:10
耶穌就直起腰來，對她說，婦人，那些人在那裏？沒有人定你的罪麼？
And Jesus stood up and said to her, Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?
8:11
她說，主啊，沒有。耶穌說，我也不定你的罪；去吧，從今以後不要再犯罪了。
And she said, No one, Lord. And Jesus said, Neither do I condemn you; go, and from now on sin no more.
8:12
於是耶穌又對眾人講論說，我是世界的光，跟從我的，就絕不在黑暗裏行，必要得著生命的光。
Again therefore Jesus spoke to them, saying, I am the light of the world; he who follows Me shall by no means walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
8:13
法利賽人就對祂說，你是為自己作見證，你的見證不真。
The Pharisees then said to Him, You are testifying concerning Yourself; Your testimony is not true.
8:14
耶穌回答他們說，我就是為自己作見證，我的見證還是真的，因我曉得我從那裏來，往那裏去，你們卻不曉得我從那裏來，往那裏去。
Jesus answered and said to them, Even if I testify concerning Myself, My testimony is true, for I know where I came from and where I am going; but you do not know where I come from or where I am going.
8:15
你們是憑肉體判斷人，我不判斷任何人。
You judge according to the flesh; I judge no one.
8:16
我就是判斷，我的判斷也是真的，因為我並不單獨，還有差我來的父與我同在。
But even if I do judge, My judgment is true, for I am not alone, but I and the Father who sent Me.
8:17
連你們的律法上也記著，兩個人的見證是真的：
And in your law also it has been written that the testimony of two men is true:
8:18
我是為我自己作見證的，還有差我來的父，也為我作見證。
I am One who testifies concerning Myself, and the Father who sent Me testifies concerning Me.
8:19
他們就問祂說，你的父在那裏？耶穌回答說，你們不認識我，也不認識我的父；你們若認識我，也就認識我的父。
They said then to Him, Where is Your Father? Jesus answered, You know neither Me nor My Father; if you knew Me, you would know My Father also.
8:20
這些話是耶穌在殿裏施教的時候，在銀庫那裏說的，也沒有人拿祂，因為祂的時候還沒有到。
These words He spoke in the treasury as He taught in the temple; and no one seized Him, because His hour had not yet come.
8:21
耶穌又對他們說，我要去了，你們要尋找我，並且你們要死在你們的罪中；我所去的地方，你們不能到。
He said therefore again to them, I am going away, and you will seek Me and will die in your sin. Where I am going, you cannot come.
8:22
猶太人就說，祂說我所去的地方，你們不能到，難道祂要自殺麼？
The Jews then said, He is not going to kill Himself, is He, for He says, Where I am going, you cannot come?
8:23
耶穌對他們說，你們是出於下頭的，我是出於上頭的；你們是屬這世界的，我不是屬這世界的。
And He said to them, You are from below, I am from above; you are of this world, I am not of this world.
8:24
所以我對你們說，你們要死在你們的罪中；你們若不信我是，必要死在你們的罪中。
Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am, you will die in your sins.
8:25
他們就對祂說，你是誰？耶穌對他們說，基本上，就是我對你們所講說的。
They said then to Him, Who are You? Jesus said to them, Altogether that which I also tell you.
8:26
關於你們，我有許多事要講說，要判斷；但那差我來的是真實的，我把從祂所聽見的這些事，對世人講說。
I have many things to say and to judge concerning you, but He who sent Me is true, and what I have heard from Him, these things I speak to the world.
8:27
他們不明白耶穌是在對他們講說父。
They did not understand that He was speaking to them of the Father.
8:28
所以耶穌對他們說，你們舉起人子以後，必知道我是，並且知道我不從自己作甚麼；我說這些話，乃是照著父所教訓我的。
Jesus therefore said to them, When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am, and that I do nothing from Myself, but as My Father has taught Me, I speak these things.
8:29
那差我來的是與我同在，祂沒有撇下我獨自一人，因為我始終作祂所喜悅的事。
And He who sent Me is with Me; He has not left Me alone, for I always do the things that are pleasing to Him.
8:30
耶穌說這些話的時候，就有許多人信入了祂。
As He spoke these things, many believed into Him.
8:31
耶穌對信祂的猶太人說，你們若住在我的話裏，就真是我的門徒；
Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, If you abide in My word, you are truly My disciples;
8:32
你們必認識真理，真理必叫你們得以自由。
And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.
8:33
他們回答祂說，我們是亞伯拉罕的後裔，從來沒有被誰奴役過；你怎麼說，你們必得以自由？
They answered Him, We are Abraham's seed and have never yet been enslaved to anyone. How is it that You say, You shall become free?
8:34
耶穌回答他們說，我實實在在的告訴你們，凡犯罪的，就是罪的奴僕。
Jesus answered them, Truly, truly, I say to you, Everyone who commits sin is a slave of sin.
8:35
奴僕不永遠住在家裏，兒子是永遠住在家裏。
And the slave does not abide in the house forever; the son does abide forever.
8:36
所以神的兒子若叫你們自由，你們就真自由了。
If therefore the Son sets you free, you shall be free indeed.
